“We got the KOS coffee cart for nurses week and it was fantastic. Carson was our barista and was so kind, and knowledgeable. We hire a coffee truck at least twice a year to cater for our surgery center and this was the favorite among staff, hands down. Several teammates even went back for seconds. The coffee was delicious and the service was excellent. This is my new coffee spot“

Now, the bar outside has arguably the best bartender in the area and abroad. Steph is the bomb. Followed her from another establishment to this location. Amazing person, and great bartender. “I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. I wish they would open a place here ❤️“

“I ordered the specialty Drama Queen roll: spicy tuna, avocado, yellowtail with tempura flakes, jalapeño, black tobiko and spicy kimchee sauce on top. It was fresh and delicious! $16. Also got my usual spicy tuna roll which was good. The service and ambiance were also good. Highly recommend!

Parking: Difficult to find parking on Friday night…there is street parking and parking lot nearby, free.

“Went for lunch with the family on a Saturday afternoon. The customer service was excellent! The food was tasty, we had a good time. The veggie burger and onion rings were delicious. The kids meal was properly portioned. If you’re a man that eats a lot my husband recommends 2 burgers. Other than that, great meal and service. Stephany the manager gave us free ice cream to top off our meal. Definitely recommend!

“This was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles, authenticity, and acknowledgement for our first year anniversary. We got a great table and an even better waiter. Sterling was knowledgeable, kind, and very good at his job. Our drinks were never empty, he didn't leave us too long but didn't come back too often either. His recommendations were incredible and we were extremely happy with the service. The food was even more incredible. From the starters to the dessert, each dish was the perfect temperature, seasoned well, and delivered promptly. “So we are from Maine here in Orlando on vacation. My son found this place on the internet and we were a bit skeptical of it. On our last day in Orlando we decided to give it a try and I am SO GLAD we did. This place was awesome. The ice cream was VERY good. I got a small portion of the Cuban Coffee ice cream with almonds, heath and hot fudge and I regret getting a small. It was so good I ordered another small one. The staff was very friendly Avery and Mia were very helpful and were very knowledgeable when we had questions. They was such a good selection of flavors and toppings which would accommodate any one frok kids to adults. They even had vegan options for those who are into that. Overall great experience 10/10 recommend giving it a try as we do t have anything unique like this in Maine.

“I’ve stopped into The Glass Knife several times and always enjoyed their coffee and pastries; everything is top notch in terms of quality and presentation. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

That said, the service has felt a little snooty each time. Nothing outright rude, but I just don’t feel especially welcome when ordering. It’s a beautiful spot with delicious treats, but the vibe could be warmer. Still, four stars for the quality alone.“

“My family was visiting from Ohio and found this place. We were very impressed with the service and food. We tried the ribs and pulled pork, with sides of Mac n cheese, baked beans, and fries. Little one got grilled cheese. We have zero complaints. The free donut, cinnamon and sugar, included with your meal was also delicious. Donut was fresh and made in front of you. We also got to meet the owner, who personally came to ask us how the BBQ food we ordered was and provided the orgin of how the idea become reality. Highly recommend a visit!“

“We sat outside with our dogs. They have an excellent wine menu as well as some really great food. Lots of charcuterie options. Also they brought the dogs a bowl of water and had food options for the dogs too...ask for the barckuterie board. Excellent service and nice restrooms. It's expensive though.“
