“Okay ppl… this is the best food and drinks we had in 5 days in Maratthon Key. The mahi salad was perfection. The onion rings sublime. The shrimp po boy was excellent… the shrimp were steamed just right; the slaw cold and tangy; the bread soft and buttery. The pomelita margarita was the best margarita I’ve had in years. Full stop. Add to that the view of the boats and the cool, vibey bar, and this is your first stop in Marathon Key.“
“This is a hidden gem. Everything we have tried has been amazing. I went for it last night and got the double lobster tails and was so impressed. They were sweet and big and the price of one at some other places. The tuna poke is a huge portion so plan on sharing on plan on it as a meal. Its simply delicious. The ahi tuna club is so unique and full of so much flavor. The shrimp and wings happy hour specials are fantastic. Food is affordable and really good overall. The other night I was craving pasta and tried their Cajun pasta with chicken. The chicken was tender and the sauce is bread worthy. There is typically a small wait time so plan on grabbing a cocktail at the bar and enjoying the sunshine while you wait.“
“Easy solid four or more. They're sort of a resort in becoming with some ongoing remodeling and hurricane repairs going on. Our room in the condo/hotel area was nice enough. Big comfy bed. Plenty of hot water with adequate water pressure. Two big TVs. Happy, happy, happy. A few things. I didn't like having to run to the front desk and ask for ice every time we needed it. Even cheap hotels have ice machines!! Would have also have preferred if they had sundries and snacks available for sale at the front desk instead of merch. That's a missed opportunity. Also didn't like having to wear a plastic bracelet everywhere and since my hands are too big to take them on or off, I had to break it off and modify it to comply. Also, a few of our outlets didn't work and the towel rack kept falling apart. Small stuff. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful and others just weren't. Scolding me about my bracelet and such, oh gawd. Pool area's nice and we would have done the bar twice but it was closed one late afternoon for whatever reason. Walked in and out of breakfast, was too crowded. Looked too much like we threw a flashlight on a bunch of bats when we walked in! Yipes. Restaurant's very promising but we never had a chance to try it. Maybe next time? Also be nice if they made some additional ramps to get the carts up to the elevator instead of having a walk all the way around through gravel to another approach. Small things I'm sure they'll address. I think of a resort as a destination and honestly we'd of been disappointed if we were stuck here ....but we also didn't pay a whole lot so we didn't really care.“
“Very good little restaurant, the tacos ? are very good, quesadillas too, the coconut shrimp are a treat. Very friendly and unhurried service. We had time to have a drink and choose the dish in peace. The tip (18%) is automatically included on the bill.“
“Top-notch bartender! The food and drinks were excellent and the view is breathtaking. I will say that the "crostini" for the mussels was either an afterthought or the chef did not want to put in the effort toward the end of his shift. Regardless, we enjoyed our visit.“
“Stopped in for a quick drink. Ended up staying for dinner! Fell in love with our bartender Jay and his sidekick Caroline! Food was great! Drinks were amazing and the sunset... beautiful! Loved the canon blast at sunset! Even had live music! -The virgin Key Lime Daiquiri was SOOOO GOOD!“
“Love this place, the drink's are great and the food was good. Love the outdoor atmosphere, and the pool is great idea, especially for those that have family. To be able to have a bite and have the kids swim in the pool. Something the children can do while out eating.“
“We stayed on site for a business reward/ anniversary trip. The weather was not in our favor as the wind was strong. This cancelled our boating excursions and left us scrambling for what to do. Katie and Ramone were working the bar during our stay. They were excellent! The proximity to the lagoon made it very convenient and we learned new concoctions to put int our Hawks Cay Mixer Cups. We also took advantage of the excellent food offerings that allowed us to stay on site instead of dressing up for dinner.“
“We had a great time for a late lunch with our kids! Matt is amazing. We had a 7 month old eating (you know what that means) and he was kind and made us feel welcome. The food was good, the vibe was good, the wine was cold. We will be back! #givemattaraise“
