“Went for breakfast with some friends from Germany. Everyone loved their meal! I had the homemade biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy. Cooked to perfection. I also ordered a side of grits as my friends had never tried before. Delicious! The kids hung out in the back of the diner as there is a little area with table games and corn hole. ! I love this place and will continue to come back!“
“Okay ppl… this is the best food and drinks we had in 5 days in Maratthon Key. The mahi salad was perfection. The onion rings sublime. The shrimp po boy was excellent… the shrimp were steamed just right; the slaw cold and tangy; the bread soft and buttery. The pomelita margarita was the best margarita I’ve had in years. Full stop. Add to that the view of the boats and the cool, vibey bar, and this is your first stop in Marathon Key.“
“With my wife being from Thailand, and having lived in a few different states in my life, and having visited Thailand, we have not found Pad Thai even remotely close to what we have tasted in Thailand itself. But this restaurant is so close to the original that we really had to let them know. If any Thai restaurant in the US can make the claim to have the best pad thai noodles, like they actually eat in Thailand, it very well could be this one. I'd recommend branding their menu with the slogan, if not their building, with "Best Pad Thai in the USA" And they have a great location without major Thai or SE Asian cuisine competition within almost 40 miles or so. So please let them know how good they have it, the waiters need to hear this too because they should be able to take greater pride in their work and workplace. The food doesn't come out fast but it's almost like home cooked on every plate. Though they could use some street food stand expertise to quicken up the serving time, this is certainly worth the wait until they figure that part out.“

“Try not to go without a reservation in April. However, it might be worth a try even so. We walked in off the street (just off our boat) and heard we’d have a 2 hr wait. But the bar is FCFS! Had a seat there in 10 minutes, food in another 20 along with fun conversations, and out of there in an hour. Great service! Very good food!“
