“For someone who went there the first time and celebrated my birthday there, it was amazing and something I will never forget. They were fast and efficient with our order, and everything tasted so good; if you have a sweet tooth like me, I suggest it.“
“While in Key West, I was talking with a street vendor about some jewelry that he made and during the fun conversation, I asked somewhere a good place to eat was and he mentioned Moondog Café. It’s to listen to the locals because this place offered great drinks really good food and a great atmosphere. I felt like I didn’t want to leave It was so nice.I have the silly rule whenever I go to a restaurant I go to the bathroom first. I often think if they can’t keep their bathrooms clean then how clean is their kitchen? I’m happy to report that Moondog Café has very clean and actually very nice bathroom.“
“We stopped by for an early morning coffee and while there was a small lineup, it moved very quickly. Service was friendly and efficient, coffee was hot and delicious! We didn't grab any food but there were breakfast/lunch sandwiches and it looked good! Lineup of people that early in the morning tells you it's a great place!“
“A local told me 'Don't bother trying to find the best key lime pie spot in key west because they are all amazing but if you want to try, look no further than Kermit's.' I'm glad I listened because Kermit's does it right!! It's the perfect balance of tart and sweet with a nice graham cracker crust and fresh whipped cream. For those who want to try a different take on key lime pie, they also serve it frozen on a stick covered in chocolate! My recommendation is to get both so you can decide how you like it. Either way you won't be disappointed.“
“Stopped in with friends for breakfast the other week. I got the Key Wester sandwich, Cuban Vanilla coffee, and a smoothie (the strawberry one). Line was like 15-20 people deep when I got there but moved consistently. Service was friendly. Food was DELICIOUS, especially the smoothie. I'd go back!“
“We had the pleasure to have breakfast twice while on vacation last week . Dennis the owner is incredible and staff is amazing! The food is delicious! Make sure you have a slice of his grandma’s 7 layer cake made with only 6 ingredients!! Will always make this stop while visiting Key West.“
“We ate 2 scoops of ice cream here and found it to be very tasty. The balls are huge and taste simply great. 2 scoops in a waffle bowl cost about $11 including tax. It doesn't sound particularly cheap at first, but there's so much ice cream that it's enough for 2 people (Europeans ;-) ).We had cookie dough and chocolate/peanut butter *yammmmmi*“
“This is a small shop along Duval that--surprise!--sells key lime products. They have a little outdoor back patio if you want to sit and eat there. Obviously, you can take your food to go, if you wish. The key lime pie was good. It's not as sweet as some places and you can definitely taste the tart key lime flavor, if that appeals to you. It had a good balance of sweet and tart. Nice enough shop and good pie.“
“The atmosphere of the place is amazing, the food is very delicious and the staff is very helpful and open. Cocktail sauce was something unknown to me, I went there to ask what its composition was other than horseradish and they gave me all the information I needed to know about the sauce. You can bring your own booze becuase they don't sell alcohol.“
“We went to the bakery multiple times during our stay.We tried the apple cobbler pastry, the key like pie, the cream cheese Danish, the breakfast sandwiches, lattes, and the croussants...Of those items... NOTHING failed to produce a giggle... and LEAST a MmmmMmmmm...and a couple NOMs...These pastries and croissants... were like... melt in your mouth buttery awesomesauce...The staff are real. Real people. Great customer service. They treated us like they'd known us for years.“
“This spot had such a local vibe, I got there pretty early in the morning so I only saw a handful of people. A cop who's wife came to meet him for breakfast, what seemed to be a worker from a local store and a few other people. Staff was very friendly. For the coffee l'm a Miami native so I gotta say I was expecting better but it still hit the spot. The egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on Cuban bread was delicious. I loved taking a walk while I finished my coffee and even got to see a manatee surface. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!“
“I've had keylime pie ? in almost every restaurant I've eaten this is by far the best I've ever had...went last night ?...15 min before closing...staff super friendly amd courteous...they asked if I was traveling far...I said yes! They gave me a bag with ice for my pie so it wouldn't melt...their little pies are to die for! I will be ordering online once this pie is all eaten up!“

“We stopped by this must visit place. I can definitely say it’s popular. Key lime pie was fresh and we got a quick service. However it’s not our piece of cake, sorry. But you should definitely try at least once. Not enough of seating for the amount of people visiting.“
“This place is amazing!! I’ve had a lot of smoothies and avocado toast but this business is by far my favorite now. I had some specialty toast, a smoothie, and a ginger shot and it couldn’t have been better. If you’re trying to decide where to go, go here!! You won’t be disappointed.“
“Awesome food & atmosphere! Ate as a family & they had something for everyone including some “elevated” dishes. Sat at the street bar & great people watching. Located near “everything.” Corn on the cob was phenomenal.Vegetarian options: Lovely options!“
“They have many items on the menu, so I’m certain each person will find something they might like. The catch of the day for us was a mahi mahi! My husband and I both ordered a sandwich with the catch of the day. His got his fried and mine was pan seared. I prefer the pan seared, but he said his was better. They have a good option kids menu. It is an open air restaurants, so do expect to have some birds near by while you munch down the food.“
“Wow, what a special experience. Arthur sat us at the best seat in the restaurant and Ivo was our wonderful waiter. My wife had the snapper and I had the grouper, both delicious. May never get back so we will always have this very nice memory.“
