“In 2024, I participated in the Key2MIA tour, which took place around Juneteenth. One of the stops on the tour was “Meat the Veggies,” where I had the chance to try their food for the first time. I was blown away by their impressive presentation, beautifully set-up tent, and food truck. I was genuinely excited to try whatever they were offering, and thank goodness I did—it was absolutely delicious! Their mango chipotle sauce quickly became my favorite, and I even tagged and persistently reached out to them for months just to get more of it. I also tried their pulled oxtail meat, which was a solid 10/10. It’s a must-try, and I highly recommend it. I truly love this brand!“

“Best ribs. There's so many places that just give you dry flavorless ribs slathered in basic bbq sauce but here is so worth it. The potato salad here is what made me realize it isn't that I hate potato salad but that people make bad potato salad, would recommend. I do wish it was easier to know what times ribs are ready because I have come here for them and they're like an hour away from being ready. The chicken here on the other hand is very dry which doesn't bother me too much cause I want ribs anyhow.“

They have these cool milkshake looking drinks, but I did not try them yet and plan to one day. Had the stuffed tostones for appetizers and they were by far my favorite ones I’ve tried. Then I ordered the Venezuela bowl and it was a lot of food and all the flavors just came together very well. Love the atmosphere of the place, definitely coming back here again! “THANKFULLY, I didn’t even look at reviews before eating here, or else I may have tried another one of the spots directly next to it.... this was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time!! So much flavor and texture in both dishes myself and my wife ordered. It is just a tad confusing how some dishes pretty much require you to order a side of rice with it, but otherwise, fantastic experience. Would recommend for sure!!“
