“It's a damn good thing I had other plans ... I could have stayed all weekend! My wife and I where there Friday the 13th. It came recommended by a patron at another bar, and he said we would like it. He was wrong ... we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! This was definitely my kind of dive! The bartenderess (I am ssssoooo sorry I don't remember the name, I want to say Amanda, I am hard of hearing and it was a long day) came up to us, took our drink order, brought our drinks, and then asked us typical bartender questions (where ya from? What brings you here? Etc) when she found out it was our honeymoon, she genuinely congratulated us and bought us a drink. We stayed for about an hour or two, and when we were leaving we asked if we could take a couple of clean drink coasters for our bar at home. She hooked us up! She is an amazing and fun bartender and the bar itself, can't wait to get back to spend more time there! ACES TO THE DUECE!“

Their Asian food is homemade and absolutely delicious. We drive almost an hour just to eat here every month because it’s that good. The restaurant is family owned, and you can feel the care they put into everything. The waiters are always nice, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was disrupted yesterday by the manager who cornered a young employee and literally cursed him in front of guests and other employees. “First time at Dolce. We live just north of the restaurant and saw advertising on social media. The restaurant is having some remodeling done so I was a little afraid that our date night would go sour. Not the case! Everyone from the manager, bartender & server were as polite and professional as they come! The food was incredible and the price was very affordable. It was a great night for us!“

“I was searching for the perfect restaurant to take my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday, and I ultimately chose Casa Matilda when I found out the owner is Haitian. From the moment we walked through the door, the customer service made a lasting impression. Andrea not only remembered my name but also remembered that we were celebrating a birthday—she acknowledged my boyfriend and wished him a happy birthday, which felt so thoughtful and personal.

We requested a table away from the “Dinner with a Stranger” setting since we went on a Saturday night, but still wanted to enjoy the music. They went above and beyond by giving us our own table behind curtains, which made the night feel like a private dinner. If that’s not excellent customer service, I don’t know what is!

Now, onto the drinks—my cocktail was delicious, and for $24, they give you a generous pour. The lemon drop martini was also amazing! I asked for it to be strong, and the bartender delivered perfectly.

For dinner, our steaks were cooked beautifully—my boyfriend’s was exactly medium, not overcooked at all. The tomato confit chipotle mash paired with the steak truly elevated the dish. Every bite was worth it!
