“We absolutely loved our time at Kobo!
We were staying at the Greystone Hotel during our holiday and one of our favourite little routines quickly became stopping by Kobo every morning — and sometimes even more than once a day — to get our coffee or something more.
The gentleman working there (unfortunately, we never caught his name) is simply wonderful. So friendly, warm, jovial and genuinely welcoming. He made us feel completely at ease from the very first visit. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with a big hello, a smile, and often a lovely chat about all kinds of things. It truly felt like visiting a friend rather than simply getting a coffee.
And speaking of coffee… it is absolutely delicious! Real Italian coffee, just the way you want it. We also highly recommend the strawberry yoghurt and the delicious pastries — everything was so good!
Kobo is definitely a place we would recommend to anyone. And if we could, we would honestly take both the wonderful coffee *and that lovely gentleman* home with us!
A huge THANK YOU for making our mornings and vacation so special. You will forever have a little place in our hearts. ❤

“They were very welcoming when I came into the door. They helped me find the visuals for the food so I could actually see what it look like and how delicious it looks. They taught me how to use the computer to order my food and visualize it or they could bring it up on the register whichever I prefer preferred. They went over every dessert selection. They smiled. They were kind and very helpful. I eat a carrot express in Miami Beach, and then Aventura mall all the time. I highly recommend it.“

“I went in with my family and got the chicken milanesa with the chicken wings and cheese bread my wife ordered the calzone with a large uncle Mario. The food was amazing the pizza was crispy but not burnt same with wings and the calzone and chicken milanesa was big enough to share . Plus the awesome and attentive service with the calming music WE WILL BE BACK!!!“

“I eat here for lunch often, and I generally prefer to eat outside to get some fresh air after working inside all day. Lately, I can’t do that because the delivery people sit right outside by the tables and smoke cigarettes and listen to music and videos on speaker phone. Hardly relaxing and hardly healthy. Please ask them to go elsewhere if they want to be disruptive and smoke.“

“The young guy Cliff and lady naiya was amazing!! I sat in here for maybe 2 hours eating. I loved how they worked together and still laughed. “Saw Dany’s videos on Instagram and knew I had to drive down and try Happeas for myself! The ribeye pocket and chicken shawarma were absolutely amazing, and the mint lemonade was excellent! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the drive. Can’t wait to come back and try the salads and bowls!“

“This family owned restaurant is a gem in Coral Gables! We are visiting from AZ and I must say their empanadas are better than what we have back home. “In 2024, I participated in the Key2MIA tour, which took place around Juneteenth. One of the stops on the tour was “Meat the Veggies,” where I had the chance to try their food for the first time. I was blown away by their impressive presentation, beautifully set-up tent, and food truck. I was genuinely excited to try whatever they were offering, and thank goodness I did—it was absolutely delicious! Their mango chipotle sauce quickly became my favorite, and I even tagged and persistently reached out to them for months just to get more of it. I also tried their pulled oxtail meat, which was a solid 10/10. It’s a must-try, and I highly recommend it. I truly love this brand!“

“Carrot Express in Coconut Grove has easily become my go-to lunch spot whenever I’m looking for something healthy, fresh, and actually good quality.
The service is always great, but wanted to give a special shoutout to Kata today. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and just made the whole experience that much better.

“This place just came out of nowhere. I was googling something to eat. That contained high protein and also healthy. I found this Miami Shores, location, best thing ever. She recommended, I think it's called some type of sunrise smoothie. It was the best thing ever. It was so good it had oat milk, it was really, really good!! “Best poke I've had on SoBe and I eat a lot of poke. Everything tasted and looked very fresh. The wakame Saladin my salad bowl is the best I've had in years. Over the last 5 years I've been mostly disappointed by seaweed salads as they have a blend or preservative that I find off putting. This seaweed salad was delicious and refreshing.
The man who took my order was helpful too as I didn't have my bike lock so he took my order at the door and brought my food out to me.“
