“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“Was staying in the hotel upstairs and while the hotel was not great, I was pleasantly surprised by the Biscayne Tavern. On night one I stopped in for drinks and was served by Maylin, who was an absolute delight and gave top tier friendly service. I decided to go back for dinner the next night and was served by Tomas. Another amazing night of service, plus the good is very, very good! I had one of the best Cuban sandwiches of my life (I used to live in Miami, I've had many) and I highly recommend the nachos, which are Cuban/Miami style and have plantain chips in place of tortillas. Give Biscayne Tavern a shot, it's low key in the best way and please give Maylin and Tomas all your love, they deserve it!“

Unfortunately our server was inattentive, didn't refill our waters and seemed to rush us towards the end by trying to take our plates while we were still eating. Also we couldn't reserve a table in the back patio which I heard has a much nicer ambience.“

“I’m not really sure where to begin. Our dinner for 25 guests was phenomenal. Our event manager was wonderful. Rick and Gustav provided the absolute best service and everyone raved about their meals. The Henry was able to accommodate a few of our additional guests. We also accommodated 2 vegan guests, 1 vegetarian guest, and 1 gluten free guest. Perfect selection of appetizers. Favorites included the pot stickers, the steak, harvest bowl, and dessert!“

“Great service. Definitely enough food. Great prices but.. Menu is over thought. Too many ingredients left me confused.. like what am I tasting.
So when you walk in the tables are a rough wood grain and the bar is faced with a faux black leather . With that visual.. I was hoping for a good steak , baked potato and salad. Like I said, the menu is way to complex to know what each choice is. The steak was full of grissel and fat. Salad and bit wilted and too wet. Me..Disappointed. Oh ..the music.. to much rock to relax while eating dinner.
I suggest a readable menu and a great steak and burger venue. Maybe chef it down a few notches.
All in all very friendly staff.
Give it a try and I noticed the Burger and fries looked GREAT.“

“Since my birthday lands during Miami Spice (August and September), I look forward to celebrating at Two Chefs every year. Their tuna tartare appetizer w house potato chips is out of this world, as are the soufflés - ask for a side of chocolate sauce, for some reason they no longer include it unless you ask. The salmon, branzino and chicken entrees are tasty. They had a great pork entree that they took out of the menu, hope they bring it back. When Chef Jan is present, food is consistently some of the best in Miami.“

“Went here recently and had fun! Nice cute place. Did 9 holes in about 45 mins. Cute for a date night or family and friends. The only thing that somewhat lacked or just happened to me, was the service. We ordered drinks at hole 1 and got it at hole 8, so that sucked. But then we sat at the bar and met 2 amazing bartenders that talked to us for a while and had fun conversation!“

The food and service were great, and I know this place is more into breakfast and brunch, but at night is a special treat too.“

“I read all the reviews before going, so I could be prepared. Let me start by saying, if you enjoy fine dining frequently, my review isn't for you. If this experience is a treat for you, read on.

The food was a 10/10. We got the scallops (omg amazing), beef wellington (equally amazing) and salmon (could have been better, not the best I've had). Everything, except thr salmon, was the best food I've ever had.

The staff is on point. Constantly checking in, but not enough to be annoying. My water was always full, food came promptly and even though it was put in at the same time, appetizer and main fish came at different times. I was impressed with the level of attention they showed from clearing our dishes immediately, someone else coming and wiping thr table down immediately after, to the genuine feeling that these people care.

Maybe this is standard for fine dining, but again, this was a treat for us and not something we do often.

Based on another review, I was already prepared to eat upstairs, away from the kitchen because we didn't purchase "VIP." However, we sat right in front of the kitchen. What a treat! We enjoyed watching the chefs work.

Expect to pay about $150 per person. It sounds high, but is worth it. The decor was amazing. I appreciated the little details like the logo on the back of the chairs, the napkins and on the light fixtures.

This has been a bucket list item for me since I was a kid. I thought my "hype" about the experience would be too high but the experience exceeded expectations.

Oh and valet parking was less than $30 and well worth it when you are in downtown Miami. They even allowed us to walk around downtown before retrieving our car.

I will absolutely be visiting other locations and encourage you to check it out. The visit made our night!“
