“We found this restaurant through Resy. I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. My family is always searching for fresh, high-quality food and this place absolutely delivered. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and delicious…we tried quite a bit of the menu and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite, which says a lot! I missed a few pictures of some of our order. The restaurant itself is beautiful, spotless, and so well kept. It has such a welcoming atmosphere. The service was wonderful, and my son even said, “This place is heaven.” We can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in the area!”

“We have been to Bijoux over the last few years and each time has been truly amazing! The food has never disappointed and the service is wonderful (we really like Lisa as our server). The wine selection is not huge but does have very nice options for any occasion. Great appetizers (Crab Beignets are a favorite) and their Filet Mignon is the best we have found in South Walton. Last evening my wife and I split the 20oz Cowboy Ribeye (med. rare +) and it was so good! They also make their own desserts and we usually get the Cheesecake (last night’s was Orange Marscapone) and a couple of scoops of sorbet(so good!). Can’t wait to go back again.”

Our waiter, Pat, was a standout from the start. His friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of the menu made us feel right at home. He took the time to recommend some of the restaurant's signature dishes, and his enthusiasm for the food was infectious. We began our culinary journey with a dozen oysters on the half shell, which were incredibly fresh and served with a tangy cocktail sauce. Pat's suggestion to try the chargrilled oysters was a game-changer; they were rich and flavorful, topped with a heavenly garlic butter that had us savoring every bite. For the main course, I opted for the grilled Shrimp Platter. Both dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and traditional recipes. “My wife and I ate there last night. Kind of expected it to just be a bar with “bar food”, was so wrong! We had a dozen fresh oysters, I actually had a few of them and I usually hate seafood! Super yummy! I had the chicken dinner, sauce and chicken was really good, so were the cheese grits. My wife had the catch of the day, happened to be Flounder, one of her favorites. The portion that came out was HUGE and she said really yummy, too! Tons of beers on tap and some funny t-shirts for sale too. Great place, may go again tonight!”

The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I got the short ribs and definitely recommend. Everything was well-prepared and presented very nicely. We also added the open bar package and upgraded to a window table, and it was 100% worth it!

“Sushimoto is incredible! My husband and I have been coming to Sushimoto for 10 years now, We lived in Santa Rosa Beach for (7) and we ate at sushi moto 3 times a week. We are huge “sushi lovers “ and have lived in (6) different states and there was not a sushi place in each state that came close to how Sushimoto. The owners (Andy & Sophia) and they are the most caring people and you can see that once you go there for sushi. Believe it or not we now come to visit for 5 days (4) times a year. Everytime we come back for vacation we will be eating at sushimoto every day we are there there every day -entire time we are here for vacation. Not only because their sushi is amazing but the entire restaurants is always so positive and once there you feel the vibe and that they put love into every single order.
The funniest thing is I have see people come in to the seating podium as rude and mean as they can be. So, Andy and Sophia have a sign at the podium that says if you are not nice-leave. That is just so awesome because the people that come in for lunch or dinner feel the vibe and the positivity so they don’t want rude mean people sitting next to them when they are experiencing this awesome restaurant and they don’t want any one eating here to change the positive energy.
So all the negative reviews those mean people write about sushimoto and he said they were not the right restaurant for you. The owners are very nice when explaining how they are acting it not this restaurant. Maybe try another restaurant that allow people in their restaurant. So I say go find another restaurant if they will seat mean people!
The waitress that waits on us all the time, ayumi, is amazing too. Same positive energy and an excellent waitress. Believe me, you will be so welcomed to eat at sushimoto every if you are not a mean nasty people full of rage going off -are not going to ruin the experience for the rest of the nice people that come here all the time to of course eat incredible sushi but to see what I mean about the positive energy and how much they care and love what they are doing, and keep that positive energy going! Thanks Andy, Sophia, and Ayumii! We will be back late September and look forward to seeing y’all!”

“We are visiting the Miramar Beach/Destin area for the first time, and came across Dunes Rolled Ice Cream when searching for ice cream. All I can say is “Wow”! This is delicious— made from scratch, rolled ice cream, with just cream and added ingredients. It is so fresh and delicious, and appropriately priced for a made-to-order, locally owned shop— the owner was literally rolling ice cream for us! (I have had the cherry blitz twice— so good!!) They have lots of other items, including scooped ice cream, boba, and even breakfast sandwiches. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!”

The line to order is long. The line to await your order to be prepared is long. But crowded means it must be good…or the only game in town…in the property for fancy coffee and a “quick” bite.

Despite the gripes, I’ve been dozens of times and will return.”

“This location is often busy but they are quick super efficient their manager there. I think her name is Hal is what she said and she is definitely what it means to be in hospitality. She was super personable, offered a recovery for something that I didn't even really think was that big of a deal. They were out of egg bites the truffle ones. Fun fact don't order those LOL and she was quick to offer recovery. I was happy though just switching to the bacon cheddar. I've got a couple other Starbucks that are closer to both where I live and where I work but I'll come here just because of how they treat people and how quick they are place is also very clean and like I said for it being as busy as it is that's probably no easy task. Staff seems genuinely happy and like I said manager is just aces. Highly recommend this location”

“First of all, I had no idea this was a franchise with locations all across the United States. My experience was fantastic, and it definitely wasn’t just luck because my family and I went there twice during our four-day vacation. Every flavor we tried was outstanding! I would absolutely recommend this place to all my friends and family, and I’ll be back every time I visit Miramar.

Now, let’s talk about the place itself. It’s a bit small, and at times the line extends out onto the street. But I can assure you that the wait is absolutely worth it, and the line moves surprisingly fast. Inside, the shop is beautiful, bright, and you can even watch them make the fudge right in front of you. I didn’t get to try it this time, but it’s definitely on my list for my next visit.

The staff was excellent—friendly, helpful, and always had a great attitude.
I also thought the prices were very fair. I saw a review saying it was expensive, but I completely disagree. I paid $25 for four ice creams, and considering the quality of the product, I think that’s a great value.

First, let me say that I’m a huge ice cream lover and very picky when it comes to judging it. And let me tell you—this is easily one of the best ice creams I’ve had anywhere in the United States. The unique flavors, the incredibly smooth texture, and the amazing balance between citrus and sweet flavors were simply outstanding. I tried eight different flavors, both fruity and sweet, and every single one earned a 10/10 from me.

This place is absolutely worth visiting. I can’t recommend it enough!

“Absolutely lovely staff, were kind and detail oriented. Took the time to take my order and advise me if there was to be a wait. Food is typically always fresh and ready for pick up unless ordering a special treat, of which the staff will explain the wait time. Pricings are reasonable given the location. Would highly recommend and will be going back.”
