“We have been to Bijoux over the last few years and each time has been truly amazing! The food has never disappointed and the service is wonderful (we really like Lisa as our server). The wine selection is not huge but does have very nice options for any occasion. Great appetizers (Crab Beignets are a favorite) and their Filet Mignon is the best we have found in South Walton. Last evening my wife and I split the 20oz Cowboy Ribeye (med. rare +) and it was so good! They also make their own desserts and we usually get the Cheesecake (last night’s was Orange Marscapone) and a couple of scoops of sorbet(so good!). Can’t wait to go back again.”

“The traditional Thanksgiving feast was exactly that. Turkey, ham and all the usual trimmings. No turkey tacos there today. All the wait staff shared in the responsibility of all of the tables and as a result we never had to ask for anything. But I must say that Marlon was an absolute wonder at handling our needs. We have loved Mezcal for years for their Tex-Mex style and top notch service, but today they truly brought it all together for a “Traditional American Thanksgiving Feast”. Everything we had off the buffet was right up there with the best we have ever had that was prepared at home. And the pumpkin pie ranked up there with any other pumpkin pie I have had in my 72 years! Many KUDOS to Mezcal! They came through today with “flying colors.””

We began our culinary journey with a dozen oysters on the half shell, which were incredibly fresh and served with a tangy cocktail sauce. Pat's suggestion to try the chargrilled oysters was a game-changer; they were rich and flavorful, topped with a heavenly garlic butter that had us savoring every bite. For the main course, I opted for the grilled Shrimp Platter. Both dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and traditional recipes. What truly made our experience memorable was the generosity of the manager, Shannon. After noticing how much we were enjoying our meal, he personally came to our table to check in. “This is the CUTEST little coffee shop that you wouldn't know was here because it's in an interior design shop. The interior design shop is beautiful, too! I loved looking around while my latte was being prepared. The carrot top latte was exactly what I expected and totally delicious! I might have to stop in again before our trip is over.”

“My wife and I ate there last night. Kind of expected it to just be a bar with “bar food”, was so wrong! We had a dozen fresh oysters, I actually had a few of them and I usually hate seafood! Super yummy! I had the chicken dinner, sauce and chicken was really good, so were the cheese grits. My wife had the catch of the day, happened to be Flounder, one of her favorites. The portion that came out was HUGE and she said really yummy, too! Tons of beers on tap and some funny t-shirts for sale too. Great place, may go again tonight!”

The rooftop is beautiful & open to the public for those who are not staying at the Hotel Eiffel. There is Valet Parking out front which was super convenient. I believe the fee is $35 but can be comped depending if you have a receipt from the rooftop. the experience was great, & I would definitely return regardless of the price point.We ordered the frozen strawberry daiquiri & tres amigos + a crab quesdillaa, all were great & flavorful. The drinks & food average around$20 per item which is average for the places in Destin.What made me inclined to leave this stellar review is the service we received. all the staff at the bar were friendly & so helpful!! After forgetting my hair clip in the car, I had asked for a rubber band & was given a hair tie, which was a lifesaver as I wanted to join my son in the pool without getting my hair wet. It was a small gesture but meant the world to me. Thank you!!”

“We are visiting the Miramar Beach/Destin area for the first time, and came across Dunes Rolled Ice Cream when searching for ice cream. All I can say is “Wow”! This is delicious— made from scratch, rolled ice cream, with just cream and added ingredients. It is so fresh and delicious, and appropriately priced for a made-to-order, locally owned shop— the owner was literally rolling ice cream for us! (I have had the cherry blitz twice— so good!!) They have lots of other items, including scooped ice cream, boba, and even breakfast sandwiches. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!”

“This is one of those reviews that you are reluctant to write because it will only mean you’ll have more competition to get a table.

But this business is hands-down the best sushi in the entire area. Not least because the fish is fresh, the restaurant itself is lovely and clean and spacious, but because they make you feel so welcome. The owner will come up to your table without fail, recognizing you if this is a return visit, and without any awkwardness make you feel welcome.

The restaurant is oversubscribed. They do not have online reservations and you need to arrive knowing that you might be on the waitlist. But with a little patience, you will be rewarded handsomely.

My favorite part however, is that when the tourists flock into Santa Rosa Beach, the owner and his wife shoot off on grand Summer adventures elsewhere and close that little shop for most of June and July. The reason being that they belong to an elite set of restaurants that are able to fill every cover throughout the week with locals for the rest of the year.

With that rare combination of great food, ambience and personal service, they don’t even need the summer rush.”

The line to order is long. The line to await your order to be prepared is long. But crowded means it must be good…or the only game in town…in the property for fancy coffee and a “quick” bite.

The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Haley, my waitress, had the bubbliest personality and was SO happy to be there. The sushi chefs were phenomenal, friendly, and good at what they do. Tracey, the new manager of the location, took the time to speak with me and was extremely personable and kind. A complete 180 of the service I used to get. Visiting from Canada, we don’t have many locations up north, so I was excited to experience it firsthand. We went to the Destin Miramar location, and not only was the food beyond my expectations, but the service was absolutely outstanding.

Jakob, the employee at the cash register, went above and beyond to make my first visit special. From the moment we walked in, he was incredibly welcoming and eager to ensure we had a great experience. He offered several fantastic recommendations, all of which we decided to try and were thoroughly impressed by. His knowledge of the menu was great, and his enthusiasm was awesome. Jakob’s friendly and personable attitude made a lasting impression, and it's rare to encounter such genuine customer service.

It’s clear that Jakob takes great pride in his work, and it truly made my visit memorable. I’ll definitely remember my first Chick-fil-A experience, and I can’t wait to return.
