“I can't say enough great things about Commelfo. From the first time I went there a few years ago with friends I was enamored with the food, cocktails and atmosphere. They have not disappointed since! I live 5 minutes away and it has become my local go to for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch and Dinner. There is nothing there I have had that isn't delicious. Their private wine dinners and parties are amazing... from the Mob Party to the Retro Party! I am already planning my costume for this year's retro party on 10/27/24... can't wait! The staff there is wonderful!”

“We have been to Bijoux over the last few years and each time has been truly amazing! The food has never disappointed and the service is wonderful (we really like Lisa as our server). The wine selection is not huge but does have very nice options for any occasion. Great appetizers (Crab Beignets are a favorite) and their Filet Mignon is the best we have found in South Walton. Last evening my wife and I split the 20oz Cowboy Ribeye (med. rare +) and it was so good! They also make their own desserts and we usually get the Cheesecake (last night’s was Orange Marscapone) and a couple of scoops of sorbet(so good!). Can’t wait to go back again.”

It made for rather unpleasant evening at this restaurant, although the food is quite good. ”

“I am an extremely picky coffee drinker and The Patch was absolutely one of the best coffees I have had. I tend to get sugar free syrups and almond milk when on the go and this is often hit-or-miss, but here it tasted wonderfully.

We began our culinary journey with a dozen oysters on the half shell, which were incredibly fresh and served with a tangy cocktail sauce. Pat's suggestion to try the chargrilled oysters was a game-changer; they were rich and flavorful, topped with a heavenly garlic butter that had us savoring every bite. For the main course, I opted for the grilled Shrimp Platter. “My wife and I ate there last night. Kind of expected it to just be a bar with “bar food”, was so wrong! We had a dozen fresh oysters, I actually had a few of them and I usually hate seafood! Super yummy! I had the chicken dinner, sauce and chicken was really good, so were the cheese grits. My wife had the catch of the day, happened to be Flounder, one of her favorites. The portion that came out was HUGE and she said really yummy, too! Tons of beers on tap and some funny t-shirts for sale too. Great place, may go again tonight!”

The rooftop is beautiful & open to the public for those who are not staying at the Hotel Eiffel. There is Valet Parking out front which was super convenient. I believe the fee is $35 but can be comped depending if you have a receipt from the rooftop. the experience was great, & I would definitely return regardless of the price point.We ordered the frozen strawberry daiquiri & tres amigos + a crab quesdillaa, all were great & flavorful. The drinks & food average around$20 per item which is average for the places in Destin.What made me inclined to leave this stellar review is the service we received. all the staff at the bar were friendly & so helpful!! After forgetting my hair clip in the car, I had asked for a rubber band & was given a hair tie, which was a lifesaver as I wanted to join my son in the pool without getting my hair wet. It was a small gesture but meant the world to me. Thank you!!”

“We are visiting the Miramar Beach/Destin area for the first time, and came across Dunes Rolled Ice Cream when searching for ice cream. All I can say is “Wow”! This is delicious— made from scratch, rolled ice cream, with just cream and added ingredients. It is so fresh and delicious, and appropriately priced for a made-to-order, locally owned shop— the owner was literally rolling ice cream for us! (I have had the cherry blitz twice— so good!!) They have lots of other items, including scooped ice cream, boba, and even breakfast sandwiches. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!”

“I really like this place. They have great doughnuts and drinks. I’m taking off a star because I’m continually irritated by the fact they don’t carry simple syrup (unlike the Destin location). The matcha latte is sold unsweetened, but the only options for sweetener are flavored syrups like caramel or vanilla. The thought of adding flavored syrup to my matcha grosses me out. Please just start carrying plain sweetener! I don’t see why there would be a collection of syrups but no simple syrup, it just doesn’t make any sense.”

“As a local pizza connoisseur, Pizza by the Sea is the best thin crust pizza on the Emerald Coast. Even though they stay busy with to-go orders, we never have to wait long for piping hot pizza right out of the oven. Love love love this place for my pizza fix. “First of all this place has the best ambience, it's like stepping into a place in Japan! They have little claw machine games, and a beautiful deck to sit outside if you want. It even has a little mini lake around it and at night is AMAZING with all the lights. On top of that - THE FOOD IS GOOD. They give you a good portion size and I had enough left over to take with me. The owner is super chill and chatted with me for awhile because I am new to the area. 10/10 will go back”

“While staying at Sandestin we ordered pizza and salad at 3:30 on a Monday afternoon. The pizza was cold and hard and my husband said it was the worst pizza he had ever eaten. The Pepperoni's were like they were placed on it from the frig. Not warmed or the least bit crispy. Cheese was scarce. It wasn't cut properly either. As bad as the pizza was, the Caesar salad was much the opposite. It was cold, crisp and delicious. I'm sad that we wasted our money on this today. If we do order again, we will stick to the salads”

“Yesterday was my first time trying Chick-fil-A, and I was eager to see what the hype was about. Visiting from Canada, we don’t have many locations up north, so I was excited to experience it firsthand. We went to the Destin Miramar location, and not only was the food beyond my expectations, but the service was absolutely outstanding.

Jakob, the employee at the cash register, went above and beyond to make my first visit special. From the moment we walked in, he was incredibly welcoming and eager to ensure we had a great experience. He offered several fantastic recommendations, all of which we decided to try and were thoroughly impressed by. His knowledge of the menu was great, and his enthusiasm was awesome. Jakob’s friendly and personable attitude made a lasting impression, and it's rare to encounter such genuine customer service.

It’s clear that Jakob takes great pride in his work, and it truly made my visit memorable. I’ll definitely remember my first Chick-fil-A experience, and I can’t wait to return. The combination of great food and outstanding service from employees like Jakob is exactly why Chick-fil-A has such a loyal following. Looking forward to coming back soon!”

We both loved them. The shop is nice and small. It's a grab and go setting. I would definitely stop by again for my morning caffeine. The atmosphere was nice and pleasant.
