“This was the first time at this restaurant in Davie, Florida as I have been to the one in Doral, Florida. My wife and I decided to stop for lunch, we sat down and Dubraska was our waitress. She took our order, which came quickly, and the food was delicious! Everything was very good, in fact, had to take some home. Dubraska was very kind and quick with our order, and I would recommend this restaurant. So the next time you come to Franciscas’, please ask for Dubraska, and she will take care of you! “I have had better meals here before. I had a wagyu steak that had good flavor but too tough to be wagyu. Ceviche was good. Service was decent. Limited variety of wines by the glass. No full bar. Went in the afternoon early evening and lots of families with little kids so it was loud.“

I came right when they sold out on the Reina pepiada & I was sad because I really wanted that (this was my 2nd time coming) but he took his time on giving me other options and was so sweet even though I was taking a while on deciding. “Our meal was a very pleasant ending to a stressful day. We chose it because of it's location. Language was an issue for us but our server used a translating app so we managed. The food was very good and plentiful, the soup was amazing. My only regret was that I was unable to communicate how much we enjoyed the food.“

I highly the tangy gold sauce-- it's the perfect mix of sweet, mustard savory, smoke, and a touch of heat. The spicy chicken sandwich was phenomenal. Personally, I'd prefer it with a single chicken breast instead of the two tenders, but the tenders work and were perfectly breaded (not overly breaded) and cooked tender & juicy inside. My fiancé got the Cachapa, and my suegra got the salad with both the chicken and beef. The chicken and beef were popping with flavor and were tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The Cachapa was oozing with cheese, and the corn meal they used was top quality.

“First time here. Wonderful authentic food. Great staff, very welcoming to out-of-towners. Walked us through the menu and guided us to some amazing dishes. Will definitely be back next time we are in town. Try the Cuban sandwich, of course! The pork was lean, the flavors all blended together great, and with some crystal hot sauce, perfection! Erica had the ground beef sandwich which is a Cuban taken on sloppy joes with raisins and olives, absolutely delightful with their “pink sauce” garlic, spicy deliciousness.
