“Dinner this evening outdoors at The Med was one of those rare meals that reminds you why Naples does dining so well when it gets it right. The food was simply outstanding. The carbonara may well be the best I’ve had this side of Rome—silken, deeply flavorful, and unapologetically authentic. A truffle pizza arrived fragrant and indulgent without tipping into excess, while a classic Margherita-style pie proved that simplicity, when done properly, is the ultimate flex: restrained, balanced, and utterly stellar. Service elevated the evening from memorable to exceptional. Sarah was nothing short of marvelous—warm, intuitive, and effortlessly polished—supported by a team that made us feel less like diners and more like returning friends. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted as though we belonged there, which, frankly, we now do. Our favorite restaurant in Naples without question—and one we’ll almost certainly visit again before this short trip ends. We have a rule: when a place is this good, once is never enough. And The Med understands that perfectly.“

“We had a great dining experience. Noel was friendly and efficient, the food was very well presented and delicious. Good for tapas or a big entree.“

“Was here for New Year’s Eve had the filet minion cooked to perfection part of the surf and turf but was but switched the lobster tail with my wife so I had turf and turf. Service was amazing. Finally made it back there today, they had a price fix for $39.00 per person. No skimping on the portions appetizer was amazing, stuffed peppers, entree steak and fries, dessert chocolate mousse cake all were really great. Had sangria, delicious (not included) but who cares at $7.00 each. With 4 drinks and coffee $125.00, cheaper than a chain restaurant. The server Carrol was the nicest, friendliest, helpful with a great personality and we knew it was genuine ( not just working for the tip) this place is a must try, it will be our go to and yours once you try it.“

“I absolutely loved this Mediterranean restaurant! Every dish was delicious and perfect for sharing. The menu offers a wonderful fusion of Lebanese, Syrian, and Turkish cuisine, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes.
The dips were absolutely exquisite, every bite was full of flavor, and you can truly tell they pay attention to every detail. The service was warm, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable.
I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!“

“Great lunch at Kareem’s today. Our waitress (Bosay (?)), was beautiful, pleasant and knowledgeable. The garlic sauce is amazing as was the bread and all the entrees. We shared 3 entrees and hummus between 4 adults and had plenty to bring home for later. Definitely will be back.“

“This resturant is undeniably great and one of the best restaurants in Naples. I enjoyed everything and you could tell it was amazing quality. Of course the price is a bit excessive but that was expected. The best dishes were definitely the grilled octopus and the seared scallops, the flavors were to die for. The only things I couldn’t finish were the risotto with shaved black truffle which was too creamy in my opinion and the sticky toffee pudding which just wasn’t to my taste. One thing I didn’t like much was that the service was a bit over the top and I felt like I needed more space. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Naples area who is willing to pay for fine dining.“

“Our day in Naples concluded with a memorable dinner at Mediterrano, a small but exceptional gem tucked into the charming Third Street shopping district. While modest in size, the restaurant delivers a dining experience that is both warm and impressive, capturing the essence of Mediterranean hospitality and cuisine. Upon arrival we were greeted graciously and seated immediately, though prospective diners should note that this is a very popular spot—reservations are strongly recommended. Our table offered an excellent vantage point: comfortable for conversation while still allowing us to take in the lively yet relaxed atmosphere of the surrounding district. Service was outstanding. Our server was personable, attentive, and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the menu. While Mediterrano offers only beer and wine, the selections are thoughtfully curated and pair well with the restaurant’s Mediterranean focus. The true highlight, however, is the food. The menu provides a wide range of enticing options, reflecting the breadth of Mediterranean culinary traditions. I chose the Greek beef stew, a dish I have enjoyed in many variations over the years. Mediterrano’s version was particularly impressive—deeply flavorful, comforting, and layered with rich Mediterranean character that brought the dish to life with every bite. Given the intimate dining quarters, it was easy to observe the dishes being served around us, and the reactions from nearby tables spoke volumes. Entrées across the room looked equally appealing, and judging by the enthusiasm of fellow diners, they were just as satisfying. Mediterrano may be small in footprint, but it delivers a big culinary experience. For those seeking authentic Mediterranean flavors in a welcoming and vibrant setting, it stands as one of Naples’ most enjoyable dining destinations. Highly recommended.“
