“This is our favorite “special occasion” restaurant. The food is easily some of the best I’ve ever had, the problem is, it’s so good that it makes it hard to try other dishes on the menu. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with the most flavorful, perfectly cooked comfort food. And always save room for the jewel cake.“

“We had an incredible meal at Sail. We walked up without reservations and were thrilled that there was availability and that we could do the tasting menu. We were treated amazing the entire time we dined. The bar was a lively area but the perfect setting to have dinner and not too loud to have good conversation.
The food was special - not only did it taste great; but the blend of unique flavors and the offering of unique items made it an unforgettable dining experience. They were so accommodating and knowledgeable about gluten free options and were able to make an adjustment to the tasting menu so I could participate. For as amazing as the food was, the service was just as if not more so. The staff was personably and friendly and we enjoyed engaging with each of them.

This visit there were 4 of us and we all ordered the same thing - the branzino, which was delicious.We each had a cocktail, also enjoyable. They have summer specials that are very reasonable, so I'm sure we will return soon. This time we used a coupon that makes our experience even better! “We had the most FANTASTIC meal at La Pescheria tonight! we were lucky enough to have one of the owners to be our Waiter.....Francesca(sp?) was a wonderful host! Not only did he suggest some amazing and delicious Apps and Entrees, but his kindness made us feel like we were family......He sent over some freshly deep fried Zucchini that was so hot and delicious. I ordered the Special that was a version of Futta Di Mare, but with a Lobster tail on top.....I've had Frutta Di Mare all over the world, including Italy and this was the best, hands down.....Their home-made pasta was spot on! Definitely go back! And you SHOULD make this a MUST STOP if you're ever in Naples!!“

More importantly for me is the excellent staff that runs this restaurant. You are greeted by Bill, who treats you like you're in his home. He is engaging, energetic, joyful, professional, and hands-on. The wait staff is spot on, from arriving at the table promptly to sharing thoughts on menu choices, and after being served, they come around to make sure all is good. We enjoy it every time we go. I always say with so many great restaurants to enjoy in Naples, the personal touch for me makes certain ones stand out! Now if they could only get rid of those chairs that line the wall...just saying!“

It used to have a fantastic mix of unique beers from all over the country — styles and breweries you wouldn’t normally find in one place. Add that to the consistently great food and excellent and personable service, and it was one of our favorite spots

Lately though, the beer wall isn’t what it used to be. The variety and quality of the selections have slipped.

That being said, the food is still delicious and the staff remains top-notch, so it’s still worth a visit. I just hope they revisit the beer wall selections that made this place stand out in the first place.“

“I love the place, but the Sarasota Location needs faster bartenders. In addition, they need a place for guest waiting for a table to order a drink at the bar. We waited 45 minutes for a table, got to the table and waited 30 to 40 minutes for our mixed drink. We received our food in about 20 minutes, which was great. Jonathan the server was very apologetic. I went 2 weeks ago and Mary Kate my bartender/server was horribly slow. I had one drink and wings and took about an hour on a Sunday about 1pm. She had no sense of urgency and was not attentive at all. I love the place, but can't continue to go if this slow service is the norm from the bar. At the Tampa location the service was great and they had not one table available. Sarasota needs to step it up!“

GM Leanna stopped by just to check-in. They have a new location opening nearby soon! Hey, lots of establishments serve great food.
