“We were traveling back home to Lakeland from a long holiday and we decided to stop in Niceville, we saw this place and decided to try it. We are so happy we did! From the sushi roll to the ramen bowl and the tempora shrimp, EVERYTHING was excellent, including the staff. We loved the atmosphere, relaxed and sport friendly, for those who like to watch football. When we make our way back to North Florida we will be stopping by again. I hope to see them in our beautiful City of Lakeland one day. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!“

“We came in on a Friday evening after spending the entire day out in the Florida heat, and what we walked into was an incredible surprise. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the amazing aromas instantly let us know we were in for something special.

The biggest highlight of our visit, though, was our server, Karina (“CoCo”). We were incredibly fortunate to have her taking care of us. She didn’t just meet our expectations….she completely exceeded them! She was outstanding with our child (which is always my top priority), attentive, personable, and had an impressive knowledge of the entire menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made our dining experience unforgettable.

We visit here several times each year, and I can honestly say CoCo is the best server we’ve ever had. Our waiter was hardly checking on us for refills and never apologized or even tell us the food would come out late. (Plus no bread or their special oil.) “A hidden gem in Destin! A tiny spot with parking in the back. The atmosphere is quaint with maybe 7 tables inside and 4 tables outside. I’d imagine during peak season you’d need a reservation. Out bottle beer and champagne split was not ice cold, but that’s the only thing I’d complain about. I had the gyro platter, the meat was perfectly seasoned and served over a bed of rice. The salad was served on the same platter with a nice balsamic type dressing and plenty of feta cheese crumbles. My husband ordered the Swedish meatballs served on garlic mashed potatoes and the salad on the same platter. He did say some of meatballs were a touch overcooked but over all enjoyed the meal. We will definitely go back to try other dishes.“

“Holy Guacamole — This Place Is Nacho Average Mexican Spot! To get to the main event: the quesadilla. Oh. My. Guac. This wasn’t just the best quesadilla I’ve ever had — it was quite possibly the pinnacle of human culinary achievement. The tortilla was golden, crisped to perfection with just the right amount of buttery char. And inside? A molten lava flow of cheese so rich and gooey it could’ve been declared a national treasure. Add to that the perfectly seasoned meat (I went with the chicken, but I suspect any option would be un-burrito-ble) and a side of their homemade salsa that added just the right kick — I was completely cheesed off… in the best way possible. I was also thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail — the tortillas tasted freshly made, the toppings were thoughtfully layered, and even the slaw had crunch and flavor that made each bite nacho run-of-the-mill. Service? Absolutely en-taco-ging. Friendly, fast, and full of great recommendations! If you’re looking for a place that delivers on authenticity, flavor, and an all-around good time, this restaurant really tortilla new one! In short: • Best quesadilla ever? Check. • Amazing tacos? “My wife and I ate there last night. Kind of expected it to just be a bar with “bar food”, was so wrong! We had a dozen fresh oysters, I actually had a few of them and I usually hate seafood! Super yummy! I had the chicken dinner, sauce and chicken was really good, so were the cheese grits. My wife had the catch of the day, happened to be Flounder, one of her favorites. I’ve been a local in Fort Walton Beach since 2014, and Sunset Bowls has been my favorite place for açaí bowls ever since I first discovered them in July 2018. Over the years, the quality, freshness, and service have remained consistently excellent, which is why I keep coming back.

The ingredients are always fresh, the portions are generous, and every bowl is made with care. My personal tradition is ordering one bowl to enjoy right away and another to take home because they’re simply that good. Whether I’m craving the Point Break, Hang Ten, or trying something new, I’m never disappointed.

It’s rare to find a local business that maintains such high standards year after year, but Sunset Bowls continues to deliver.
