“I recently visited Pummarola and had a pretty good overall experience.

One thing I really liked is that you can watch them make your pizza right in front of you. They prepare it fresh, slide it into the oven, and it’s ready in about 7–10 minutes. While we were waiting, there were several to-go orders being called out, which shows it’s definitely a popular spot.

The food is fresh, which is a big plus. I ordered the veggie pizza, and while it was nicely made, it was a bit bland — it tasted mostly like tomato sauce on dough with just a few vegetables. The chicken pizza we ordered had more flavor and was more satisfying overall. Prices are reasonable for freshly made pizza.

The restaurant has colorful, Italian, pizza-themed décor that gives it a fun atmosphere. There’s outdoor seating available, and free parking in the shared strip mall lot, which makes it convenient. They also offer pizza-making classes, which looks like a really cool experience.

One thing to note: if you need to use the restroom, you have to exit through a back door and walk down a hallway shared by other eateries in the strip. You’ll need a code to access the bathroom door.

The staff weren’t overly friendly, but they were kind and efficient.

“What a treat! Late night Mega Pizza south beach! Vibrant area with a terrific thin crispy saucy and flavorful pizza! Good vibes and and art around to kick it while your on the corner of a nice beach walk. Total surprise I came in for a snack and walked out having eaten three slices! If I’m in Miami I won’t miss stopping in here for bite.

“The quality of food is high, for that I recommend it. The reason I wouldn’t go back is that the staff just did not care we were there at all. Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“

“This is a beautiful place that has been on lincoln road for such a long time. It never fails to provide wonderful food, excellent service, consistent menu. There's a reason it's been around for a long time. If you haven't tried it, it is a must on your list of things to do when visiting south beach. The last time I was there, I was sitting at the bar, and my server was Ksenia. She’s incredibly outgoing, kind, and polite, and she does her job exceptionally well.

Ksenia is always happy to give great recommendations and help you choose the most delicious dish when needed. She truly creates a positive atmosphere and makes every visit enjoyable.

I come here often and have tried almost the entire menu — everything is consistently delicious. There’s something for everyone, and no one leaves this place hungry.

“I went there Last Saturday with my mom and my two fur babies so we sat outside of course and Rebecca was Soooo super friendly and helpful that it made it our visit there extremely enjoyable. The ambiance and service are excellent. The food: Was so super tasty and flavorful. We ordered the Bruschetta (delicious), the prosciutto and mozzarella (fabulous) and a pizza (stunning). We absolutely enjoyed everything and will definitely be returning. My fur babies had an excellent time as well and they will also be returning with us.
