“Pretty clean, and quiet restaurant. I ordered my food online. Food was fresh 😃 crab ragoon and fried dumpling was hot and fresh and the best I’ve had in so long. Fried chicken was decent and orange chicken was ok love that you get a egg role or drink with the combination dinner. Over all I enjoyed my food“

“The plain fried wings are very good. The honey garlic wings are not worth it, flavor wasnt there. The bourbon chicken was good also. But I do not like their rice, its the yellow lookin typa rice that alot of places doin now that is tasteless, i prefer old traditional fried white rice with soy blended in. The vegetables and shrimp in the rice was delicious tho. The prices are unbeatable so i just go for the meats.“
“Love the food only one thing holds me back from ordering and that is the woman that answers the phone who cannot speak a word of English and I don't know what she's saying or if she delivers she is very condescending. So tired of her pointing out everything that's wrong with my appearance!“

“My family and I had take out of the Pho rear steak and the brisket as well as wings and pot stickers for appetizers. All the food was tasty and we enjoyed it. Our only observation was the quantity of food for the price was not enough we would have like more food. thank you and good luck.“

“I'm not much of a fan of this type of chain in general....We came as a celebration for a birthday and the experience was made great by the great staff at the Sawgrass location and, especially, thanks to our outstanding server Camille. She was absolutely amazing with everything! Keep up the good work Camille!“

“The dessert took longer to get to the table than the food. They did take it off the bill but not what I was looking for nor is it a fix to the issue. The waiter was hardly seen and when he was (which was not often enough) it was bad timing - Mouth full of food, he's asking if everything is okay. It was a nice place though. Food was great.“

“The food was really good i recommended the pork chili wontons, the potstickers and any of the soup dumplings are really good. My waiter Jessica was so nice, kind and attentive, she showed/helped us eat the soup dumplings, we didn’t try the noodles or the duck but definitely next time! The atmosphere is really nice too, very aesthetic.“

“Rainbow Palace – A True Fine-Dining Chinese Classic
Rainbow Palace is a true gem of fine-dining Chinese cuisine located on East Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. This restaurant has been around for roughly 35–40 years, and it shows in all the right ways — elegance, consistency, and attention to detail.
I’ve been meaning to dine here for at least 15 years, but timing was never right. They are open for dinner only — no lunch, no happy hour — which already sets the tone that this is a serious dining experience. When you walk in, you immediately notice the refined atmosphere: a beautiful bar area, a private dining room, and one of the most elegant Chinese dining rooms I’ve ever seen.
Now, the food.
We started with the Shrimp and Lobster Dumplings — hand-kneaded dough shells filled with minced shrimp and lobster, pan-fried on one side and served with a honey mustard soy sauce. Outstanding. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and easily among the best dumplings I’ve had. We ordered them per order and they disappeared fast.
There were four of us, and we ordered four main dishes to share. One standout was the Roast Duck with Portabella Mushrooms and Asparagus — thinly sliced roast duck sautéed in a nine-spice Asian sauce with fresh portabella mushrooms and asparagus. Rich, tender, and beautifully balanced.
We also had the Chef’s Lo Mein, featuring sliced chicken, honey-roasted pork, and shrimp tossed with soft angel-hair lo mein noodles and fresh garden vegetables, seasoned with aged soy sauce. A classic done exactly right.
Another highlight was a large shrimp entrée, featuring jumbo shrimp cooked perfectly — firm, flavorful, and clearly high-quality. Not your average shrimp dish; refined rather than heavy.
Every dish came out hot, fresh, and plated with care. The flavors were balanced, the ingredients were top-tier, and nothing felt rushed or over-sauced.
Rainbow Palace is not casual Chinese food — it’s classic, upscale, old-school fine dining done right. If you appreciate elegant surroundings, excellent service, and thoughtfully prepared dishes, this place absolutely deserves a visit“

“Food is absolutely delicious! Pork egg foo young had huge chunks of pork and onions and a delicious sauce. Their chicken wings are so big and fried just right. And the boneless spare ribs are a must have. This place is definitely one of the better takeouts.“
