“Decided to try out Jerk Guy Ian after reading some reviews. The reviews were not lying when they said the best jerk chicken in south Florida! I got the jerk chicken plate spicy and the flavor was on point! It has a nice kick but it’s not overwhelmingly spicy. Next time I would probably ask for extra sauce on the chicken because it was so delicious and packed with flavor!! I will for sure be coming back! Thank you Ian for the great food and service!“

While he bags it all up, Moe entertains with lightning-quick commentary on bad Miami drivers and other local lunatics. A++.“

“Let me tell you something, I drove from downtown Miami to find a place to eat and after 5 different restaurants were not ready, I stumbled upon ZoeLadyCooks epi tout tet femal koupe!
Not only are they friendly but the food is koupe dwet. My kids and I were beyond starving and as soon as my daughter took a few spoonfuls, she exclaimed this is phenomenal mommy. My son couldn’t talk because he was too busy stuffing his face. My kids are my biggest critics and they know Haitian food so if they give you 5stars, trust me, you’ve earned it! So whenever you’re in the area, or not because I made the drive, make sure you check them out!!!
Side note: she would like to add more things to the menu but people have bit been showing up so please do so and thank you. Also because I want to try the fish from them so show up and in numbers. I ordered turkey so my kids can eat it (I’m pescatarian so I’ll take that L).
Kid-friendliness: They are so kind with kids and actually spoke to them which literally made me want to try everything“

“What a gem! The food is exceptional! We had a full rib rack with side of fries (double fries yum) and collard greens (omg try them!). It’s these little places that are locally run that really have talent! I would pick this place every time! So if you’re visiting, eat here if you live here, eat here! “OK People, like seriously you MUST get a platter with a bit of E-very-thing. It's not just one thing that's good people. It is E-very-thing. MTV catered for my pool party and the food was GONE. People snorted the oxtail sandwiches. Like seriously you couldn't even tell there were oxtail sandwiches on the platter. Loved the fancy presentation and AH-mazing food. Seriously People, run don't walk!“

“Y'all. I would say about 80% of the times we go to the Food Truck Festival at Pembroke Lakes Mall on Thursdays, it is to get food from Coop's Spot Food Truck! The wings and ribs are sooo good (the sides are really good too). We have yet to find a really worthy BBQ spot in Pembroke Pines, but Coops does it for us in the meantime! I think it's the smoke, and the Sweet & Spicy sauce. ;)I will say, it used to take FOREVER to get your food from them though (one time I waited over 45min!). But it appears they are organizing themselves much better now, and they started giving us a time estimate (now it's usually 15min). And it's worth it. :)“

“I had been looking for a good bbq place and this one did not disappoint. I ordered the half pound of brisket, 1 full rack of baby back ribs, small Mac and cheese, 2 cornbreads and medium size pork beans. I ordered for 2 people and there was half a rack left over and most of the beans. In the future I would order only half of rack of baby Backs and small beans but now I have food for tomorrow. Again, I was not too happy I spent 78 dollars on the food but once I tried the food it was worth every penny. I can’t wait to go back. This will be my new spot and I would recommend to my friends/ family. 9.5/10 because I wish they had a spicy bbq sauce.“

“We stopped in on our way to the airport to go home to Iowa. The food was exceptional and the best meal we had while in Florida. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, actually. “Best ribs. There's so many places that just give you dry flavorless ribs slathered in basic bbq sauce but here is so worth it. The potato salad here is what made me realize it isn't that I hate potato salad but that people make bad potato salad, would recommend. I do wish it was easier to know what times ribs are ready because I have come here for them and they're like an hour away from being ready. The chicken here on the other hand is very dry which doesn't bother me too much cause I want ribs anyhow.“

“This Volcano Hot Pot and BBQ was the best our family has been too. The service today was impeccable. The food was fresh. The selection was large and they did not rush us or freeze us out. Even when there were some rude patrons, the team worked together to make sure everyone had what they needed. The sweet tea was not diabetic. The food was flavorful. They did not let our paper burn or our soup burn. This is by far was the best hot pot experience we have had yet!“
