“My first time experience in talavera was great and the restaurant had a nice vibe. Our server Javier was fantastic and the food was delicious. “I have been trying to get to this restaurant for months and I finally made it! Let me tell you that it was certainly worth the wait too. All the food was made to order and every single dish came out hot and fresh! Let me repeat that HOT AND FRESH....AND IT TASETED GOOD. Now let me talk about the service. Tiara was my server and she was phenomenal. Seriously, Tiara needs to open up a school and start training servers across America worldwide!! Since it was my first time at the restaurant, and I was starving, I had questions about all the things I wanted to try....and it was indeed a lot of questions. Tiara was very thorough in her explanations and she never once made me feel like I was asking too many questions. She even had some jokes inserted into her answers and I absolutely adored her. Later on into the night, my sister who happened to be in the area stopped by and we had the pleasure of being greeted by the manager Felix. (SN: Felix previously checked in on me before when I was dining alone.) Felix is definitely awesome. His personality was inviting and in further reflection, I remember visiting the entire restaurant and that makes him very attentive. Great owners/managers are☺️. I appreciated the fact that he came to check in on me/then us with the food. I've only experienced that type of attentiveness in more formal dining settings, but in my book Upper Deck is definitely top-tier/5star! Everything I ordered was scrumptious, tasted great, right down to the dessert! I am usually on that end of town once a month because I live 1 hr away, but I promise every time I'm nearby I'm going to stop by and order something. Tiara recommended some other menu items and my goal is to try everything on the entire menu. I had more than enough food, so I was able to leave with leftovers. “We stopped by today for a couple of reasons. We needed a bottle of Casamigos tequila to take to a party this evening, and we wanted to see the new NBV location of Happy's Lounge and Liquor Store. I have heard for years that Happy's is a fun, casual, old school kind of bar that everyone has been to at least once. It is a neighborhood kind of bar where most of the patrons know each other. It has been around for years.It actually looks comfortable and welcoming inside. I took a few pics. They serve wine, beer, and cocktails. You can also get bar food like a Philly cheesecake that tastes really good. The menu is limited but has enough popular meals to make everyone happy!There is free parking in a large attached lot. They have outdoor dining on the patio. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio. There are other businesses around it. We plan to come back and have a Happy's experience.“

“First of all, I've always had a great experience at this location. Their ribs are superb. But unfortunately, this last visit, I happened to order the half rib with a half barbecue chicken. I was extremely disappointed when my meal came. Everything seemed to be on point. The ribs were fantastic, but when I tried the chicken. The meat was hard and seemed aged. I am a meat lover, and it's hard to get me to reject chicken ,ribs, or pork, but I have to say this was the worst chicken I've tried in years . I was able to avoid a situation like this for some time I guess. I believe this location doesn't really sell much of their half chicken orders, and the poultry was sitting for some time in the fridge. I was forced to just leave the half chicken and enjoy the rest of my visit. I did give a tip to the waitress because it was no fault of her own, and I didn't want to ruin the time I was having with my son. I will be back but will never attempt to get half a chicken. Be warned and save yourself the disappointment.“
“On our trip to Miami we went to eat at Black Market Bayside which we really liked, it has an excellent location, a very good view of Bayside, attentive and friendly staff, prices within the ranges of the city, the food is very good, both the potatoes , like the picaña cut, the music programming was very good and they have a wide variety of screens to watch sports, the weather is spectacular. Only one detail was that they add a tip to the bill, which should be optional, well they do that in all the restaurants in Miami, but for everything else the stay at the restaurant was good. Nice detail of providing complimentary water.“
