“This is my favorite Dunkin' location in the Fort Lauderdale area because of the team's transparency. I placed a mobile order at the 1801 W Oakland Park Blvd Dunkin' on New Year's Eve. When I arrived a little after 5pm, the lone employee at the store informed me that they were closing at 6pm, the ovens were shut down for the day, and they were out of the donuts I ordered. They also didn't have the Peppermint Mocha Signature Latte I ordered and the employee let me know that most/all Dunkin' locations got rid of the seasonal product after Christmas. I was able to replace that drink with another Signature Latte.
The employee told me to come back the next morning to let the rest of his team know to give me the rest of my order of half a dozen donuts, a bagel sandwich, and hash browns. They understood the situation and were able to make good on their coworker's directions that he gave me the night before.
I greatly appreciate the team's patience and transparency, and that they were willing to resolve the situation without me having to fill out my receipt survey and request a refund through corporate.
With that said, Dunkin' corporate really needs to to give their physical stores more control over the app to display/input numbers of their current available stock to avoid creating unnecessary customer service issues such as mine to allow all stores to better serve their customers! Also, Dunkin' corporate should have been more mindful of their stores closing early on New Year's Eve and not offering 3x points on purchases made from 2-6pm on the same day. It's disrespectful to the employees and the customers.
Overall, 10/10 service, this Dunkin' is now my favorite location to order from in Fort Lauderdale!“
