“The best of the best . This place has been around for so many years. I have been eating here since I was a child growing up in Florida. I so wish there was more than one China one. Truly deserves more than five stars. I wish and hope one day China One can expand throughout the states. Everyone deserves to have their food. I myself have been eating her for over 25 years and now my own boys love their food. No place can compare to this in my opinion. ?

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly-ness. I have been going since I was a child and now my children go with me.

“We order take out multiple times per week, large menu selection with great service and cooked to perfection. The soups are the best we have ever ordered any where. Good prices for fresh cooked to order take out. They are busy all the time with no issues filling orders, that tells me we are not the only ones that enjoy their food.“

“My order was accurate and ready on-time. The online ordering process is so easy. They greet me with a smile and hand me my freshly made beef and broccoli, spare ribs, and fried rice and Dinner is made. The beef is tender, the broccoli is cooked proper with a remaining crunch. Perfect! Oh...and we always get extra egg rolls. Enjoy!!!“

“New to Ocala and have tried at least 6 other Chinese Food restaurants. Hands down this is the best so far, the Won Ton soup actually had flavor to it compared to other places. My wife and I had Shrimp Lo Mein and Pork Lo Mein both packed with plenty of flavor as well as the Pork Fried rice. They do have a few tables if you want to sit there and eat but we just did takeout, the woman at the front counter who gave me my order was very nice and friendly. We will be back to try some other dish next time hopefully it will be just as good.“

“Had chicken and rice soup, super impressed with taste, quality, and temperature. It was filled with a very generous portion of real chicken thigh meat not the overly tenderized one-color-one-texture chicken many places use. Also prices are hard to beat! Staff was friendly, lobby was delightfully decorated“

“The food is always excellent and everyone is super friendly and nice! I used to live 3 minutes away from here and would get it for dinner at least once a week because it is consistently good. Every time I drive past it now, I wish I hadn’t moved.“

“Best house lomein and best human chicken I've had“

“We had 2 soups, a hot and sour and a egg drop wonton mix. Both were good, but one needed to be reheated. Main dishes were pork lo mein (good but a little light on the pork) and a triple delight which contained veggies, shrimp, chicken and pork in a spicy garlic sauce. The triple delight was really, really good. We'd definitely take out from there again.“

“Really excellent Chinese food! We just moved from Massachusetts and this place is better than the best places we had. The pork fried rice is better and fresher tasting than from the hibachi place next door. Everything was really fresh and homemade tasting. Tasted as if it was made to order and hasn't been sitting around all day, and piping hot, too!!“

“I was told when they opened that nothing was ready. So, I waited about 20 minutes and was able to order. Despite the long wait, the food here is at least fresh and tastes great. I would come back, but the preparation should be done before opening.“

“We have ordered from Shang Hai on multiple occasions now. Although not perfect and personal preferences will differ. We found them to be one of the better if not the best Chinese take out restaurants we’ve tried in the area.
The food portions are decent. The food is very good. The prices are decent. I cannot think of much more that I need. Shang Hai’s food so far has fit the bill for us. So I recommend trying them.
I rarely give five stars unless the subject is outstanding and above others in their field. So although I thought about it. I gave Shang Hai four stars, because they are very good. But not quite perfect to the point of head and shoulders above the rest. But you can consider it 4.5 stars. And I figure that’s quite good.“

The woman working there she may be the owner or the wife of the owner welcomes you as soon as you walk in no matter how many people are in the restaurant it's its a nice warm greeting that makes you feel appreciated! The food is excellent the service is even better!!“

“We struggled to find a good Chinese food restaurant for a couple years and would drive a long distance to ensure we were not going to be disappointed in the quality of food. We lost hope. “The staff waiting the phone were so nice and considerate. The food itself was absolutely golden; I loved the steamed dumplings and the Dragon Meats Phoenix so much, too. Overall high marks as an establishment and I feel even more bad about the cluster-cluck of a problem my family and I caused when we ordered and kept having trouble getting to the place itself due to the day's schedule.If I could, I'd rate the place 10 stars of 5“
