“The best of the best . This place has been around for so many years. I have been eating here since I was a child growing up in Florida. I so wish there was more than one China one. Truly deserves more than five stars. I wish and hope one day China One can expand throughout the states. Everyone deserves to have their food. I myself have been eating her for over 25 years and now my own boys love their food. No place can compare to this in my opinion. ?

“1st time going last night! Definitely don’t regret it and making this my go-to spot (to-go menu now has a home on our fridge) for Chinese! Got the General Tso chicken and my husband got the Orange chicken! We were both very pleased! Definitely going to try the Chinese donuts and the chicken mooshu next time! Service was quick! “THE BEST food you will eat here in Ocala. EVERYTHING is FRESH, always HOT, and big portion for a good cheap price. The General Tso combo is AMAZING, the eggrolls are delicious, chicken wings are delicious, Mei-Fun is AMAZING, & the Wonton soup is AMAZING! Best OF THE BEST!! I hate having to eat any other different chinese place because they can never compete with how good Tasty Bowl is. On top of it all, the owners are wonderful & very, very AMAZING! “When I tell you. As a transplant from up north one of my biggest gripes was not finding good Chinese food here in Ocala. It took me 3 years to find Wok N Stuff but I am so glad I did. Food is piping hot, Rangoons are extra crispy with perfect filling. Their entree dishes are real meat and not just scraps in a bunch of breading soaked in sauce. What a lovely little gem tucked away off the main strip in Ocala ❤️“

“We have ordered from Shang Hai on multiple occasions now. Although not perfect and personal preferences will differ. We found them to be one of the better if not the best Chinese take out restaurants we’ve tried in the area.
The food portions are decent. The food is very good. The prices are decent. I cannot think of much more that I need. Shang Hai’s food so far has fit the bill for us. So I recommend trying them.
I rarely give five stars unless the subject is outstanding and above others in their field. So although I thought about it. I gave Shang Hai four stars, because they are very good. But not quite perfect to the point of head and shoulders above the rest. But you can consider it 4.5 stars. And I figure that’s quite good.“

“Me and my wife got some sweet and sour chicken from this location and a few other things I usually go to China One but I heard this trying to place was the best in town especially on that side of Ocala food was delicious I totally recommend going here“

“I moved here about 4–5 years ago and tried a few different Chinese places, but nothing ever really stood out just okay. Then I found this spot, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Their food tastes like it’s made with love fresh, flavorful, and comforting every time. On top of that, the people who run it are genuinely kind and caring. It’s not just a takeout place to me anymore it feels like part of the neighborhood. Highly recommend!“

“Chicken dishes are so tender and juicy! The best Generals and Lo Mein we've ever had. Krab Ragoon had generous filling. We were very pleased. On the downside, the Fried Rice is not quite as good... seasoned a bit different and salty, and lacking onion/peas/carrot, BUT they put a lot of yummy pork in. So I'd say they handle the proteins exceptionally. They are friendly and professional. I'll be back often!“

“Great Experience!
At certain times, the place gets really busy, therefore, some mistakes are destined to happen. However, it is important on how you resolve the issue. The food here is priced fairly, tastes good, and most of the time, it is quick.

Last week, as usual, I placed an order online and drove down to pick it up. I didn't check the bag because I never had an issue with my order before. So I go home, open the bag, and discovered one of the items was missing. Before I could call and report it, the owners' kid calls me and tells me they made a mistake and it is up to me if I want a credit or stop back by and pick up the order. I applaud their gesture!

I have bought food at Chinese restaurants most of my life and never had a restaurant call me and admit they made a mistake and gave me options. I truly appreciate their customer service...Especially, in a town where most people are rude, inconsiderate, and lack basic people skills. If you drive a vehicle in Ocala, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Here's another example...Last year, I had placed an order via one of those awful delivery services (GrubHub, Doordash, etc.). The order went through fine and the driver stopped by and picked up the food. Unfortunately, the driver never delivered the food.

So, I called the delivery service and they sent another driver because they could not get in touch with the first driver either. Now, First Wok had already done their part and they did not have to do what they did next. When the 2nd driver arrived and explained the situation, they prepared everything again and handed it to the driver; no questions asked.

“I've lived in 3 states of the Chinese restaurants I've been to in my life this place is the most friendliest of them all! The woman working there she may be the owner or the wife of the owner welcomes you as soon as you walk in no matter how many people are in the restaurant it's its a nice warm greeting that makes you feel appreciated! The food is excellent the service is even better!!“

“I normally visit the Panda Express in Lady Lake Florida, but due to circumstance I was at the Ocala Panda Express. I was somewhat disappointed when the orange chicken was very tough and difficult to cut with the plastic knife. I have never experienced this at the Lady Lake Panda.
It's an unfortunate situation of which I have no explanation since everything is pre-packaged and manufactured in a Black ops factory of unknown origin.“

“This is my favorite Chinese spot. The honey chicken and house friend is so good and what I love is that everything is served nice and hot. I usually place the order once I get there and it never takes no more than 15min to have my order brought out. There used to be seating with tables but have recently removed the tables and left the chairs so it's take out only.“
