“I was really looking forward to visiting this place, and overall it didn’t disappoint! I was expecting the bar itself to be a bit bigger, but the whole setup totally makes up for it. You walk into what looks like a regular store filled with cool, geeky merch, and then....surprise!!!! There’s a secret door in the back that takes you straight into the bar. That hidden speakeasy style entrance is honestly awesome and adds a lot to the experience.

The atmosphere inside is dark, creative, and full of character....definitely a spot for anyone who loves something a little different. The service was excellent too; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the visit even better. I’d absolutely go back, especially to bring friends who haven’t been there yet.“

The Ice Box itself was unforgettable everything inside was made completely of ice, from the cups to the tables and even the seats! 🧊 It’s such a unique experience and definitely something everyone should try at least once.

“The Hamlin location took amazing care of us today. We had to request a change of seating as we had some mobility issues within our party and they did it without any issue. I managed to spill my drink and the waitress was super relaxed with getting me a damp rag to clean it up. We ordered a drink not realizing it was smoked and they swapped it for us as we had a massive allergy issue in our party. I promise we aren’t usually so high maintenance but when I say they rolled with our oddly chaotic punches I deeply appreciated it. It’s the end of 2024 and I’m so proud of these folks for being on their ‘A’ game and accommodating us. Good food. Good service. Good time all around. I hope these rockstar servers hand an absolutely amazing 2025.“

“This has been my go-to place for almost 20 years. The food is always delicious, the blue cheese chips are a MUST, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable.

“I was looking for live music and loved my night at Howl at the Moon Orlando! The dueling pianos were a blast—nonstop energy, and they played many of my favorite songs and a few new ones. The staff was super friendly and had some great non-alcoholic drink options. The smallest drink was enough for me, so it was a good value for a night of blissful entertainment. “I stayed at The Hard Rock for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday in June, and Anthony, the bartender, truly made the trip unforgettable. From the first night, he was welcoming, fun to talk to, and mixed some of the best cocktails I’ve had. He not only remembered my favorite drinks but also recommended a few new ones that quickly became favorites.

What stood out even more was how much he cared about making the experience special. Anthony gave me great food recommendations around the resort, and on the night of my birthday he surprised me by sending an assortment of snacks up to my room. It was such a thoughtful touch that made me feel celebrated and really added to the whole trip.

Anthony goes above and beyond—great drinks, great conversation, and genuinely top-notch service. If you’re at The Hard Rock, or enjoying the universal parks or resort, do yourself a favor and spend some time at the bar with him. He was there the last time we stayed there for my birthday as well. He’s the best.“

“My favorite thing to do here is find out a specialty drink for a holiday event and spam order as many of those as possible during my vacation.

The shark attack isn't my favorite drink, but it's my favorite to order to see the show. I rarely catch Merv here, but there's a wonderful lady who has served me many times and I hate I can't remember her name, but she gives great service and had a great attitude every time I see her.

I love that this bar is outside and you can choose to see near the water. If I decide to eat any snacks from the candy store I'll compliment them with a drink from here and then get a seat and relax for a bit.

This is a good people watching location as well.“

“Steven at the watering hole is absolutely amazing, charismatic, and an amazing way to get us started on our universal experience.

He was extremely helpful, gave us information and suggestions. The drinks were well worth the price and I am glad that we ran into this location.

“We came here for our anniversary and had my sights on this place for a while (I love Cajun food). We had a bit of a snafu and didn't bring our IDs and were carded (we had been in Florida a week at this point and this was the first time we were asked to prove id 😂), we were a little frustrated at first but obviously we realize the waitress was doing her duty and would not wanted her to get in any sort of trouble on our account. The restaurant manager apologized and included our desserts for the night, certainly he was under no obligation to do so we really appreciated the gesture...one of the piano players congratulated us (along with the room) and a couple in the room ended up paying for our meal. Needless to say we were astonished by the back to back gestures...will definitely pay it forward to another couple down the road.

All that aside our food was great. I've seen some remarks about portions but from my perspective the portions coincided neatly with the value of the meal (and we thought this before even requesting our check). My wife got the jambalaya and I got the crawfish Étouffée. I think I like her jambalaya slightly more but the Étouffée was still really good. Thank you Pat Obrien's staff, the customers, and pianists for making our night memorable, this is definitely a must stop at if were ever at Universal City Walk.“

“We love the Plastered Owl! It is the perfect place to grab a drink and snack. The mango bread is AMAZING! Our favorite part was the live music. They interact with the crowd and really make it a place you want to just hangout. It’s also not nearly as crowded as other parts of the park so you can cool off and relax a bit in the middle of a crazy day! Highly recommend checking it out.“

“Fun little back alley venue for beer butter beer and snacks. We had the daisyroot ale and the dragon scale. Both delicious. Ale very light and citrusy. Would be great on a hot summer day! Dragon scale was a little hoppy and had a lovely amber color. Recommend! Line doesn’t move too fast. At least not today. Very small but highly recommend!“

The atmosphere can be a little loud at times and parking can be tough. Food is always good. The great service and strong drinks are what keep me coming back.“
