“One of my new favorite bars in Orlando and prob my favorite place to drink in the College Park area, customer service is always great, the bartenders and the managers are very attentive and walk around the bar checking by on people. It is attached to the a big food hall, so you have plenty of choice for food. They show almost every sporting event including UFC so its great for sports fans. “Though The Muddy Root’s menu is already hard to beat, the real magic lies in the staff here. It doesn’t matter what day you come in; you’ll always be met by someone warm, welcoming, and ready to explain anything you’d like to know about their WIDE variety of menu items. If you’re not a kava or kratom person, this cafe offers a coffee and tea menu that’s highly customizable. Whatever you’re looking for- something sweet, something strong, something refreshing- the kavatenders (their “bartenders”) will always know how to make it happen. Even when my drink doesn’t taste right the first time (which rarely happens), the staff is beyond happy to add or substitute anything so that it’s just what I want. A literal 2-minute drive from UCF (and right between two major UCF apartments), this is an amazing study spot. Plenty of outlets and a variety of seating, plus free WiFi (after ordering). Plenty of students, professionals, and hobbyists work here, so it’s a productive environment. If you’re looking for a more social atmosphere, they also host social events all throughout the month, from trivia and AYCD kava nights to karaoke and even nature hikes! If I could rate The Muddy Root on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give them an 11. A definite must-try!“

“We came in on a trivia night, which was unbeknownst to us ahead of time. The trivia host was engaging and fun, and the facility was clean with nice pool tables. Our bartender, Matt, made wonderful local beer recommendations and was attentive and friendly. Any company would be lucky to have him. Lastly, the beer selection was fantastic and properly geared towards Irish brews. Very happy to have stopped by!“

“I fully recommend 480N Wine Bar as a wonderful new addition to Winter Park Village. If you're doing some shopping, grabbing dinner or catching a movie, 480N Wine Bar is the perfect spot to grab a pre or post drink/cocktail. I visited with my husband upon their grand opening. I do not drink, but the staff went above and beyond find and/or make something nonalcoholic for me to drink. While their non-alcoholic suggestions sounded great, I actually chose a craft soda and ever since I am obsessed and will be returning for one soon! :)“

The service can sometimes be slow so be prepared and don't go when in a huge hurry, but the food is tasty, the servers friendly and the drinks lovely! They do fun holiday cocktails as well which I highly recommend. They are also dog friendly and the workers know our dogs and always come say hi. Love this place.“

“Twas a dark and stormy night in the 8th layer of hell the lost souls of the East know as “Orlando”. As the clouds shrouded the sky, I stumbled into this saloon for shelter from the impending Burning Rain of Death. The rake behind the counter, Garret, kindly offered me a libation to which I vehemently obliged. Before the cold glass met my lips, I was frozen in my chair by the sight of a wicked woman with fiery hair the locals know to be Winnifred. We spoke wildly into the night of spooky dino chickie nuggies, Disney +, Malibu potions, and cauldron maintenance, of course. She lent me her boOooOooOok and I would love nothing more than to return it to her, as it won’t stop staring at me. If you see her, please do let her know I would love to reconnect, and would also take her up on Billy’s number if she’s indeed done with him.“

“Highly recommend for family gatherings! We just had our Baby Shower in their event space & we had an amazing time. All the staff was super friendly, very accommodating and easy to work with & book. The food and drinks were delicious and fast. Our host/waitress was so sweet and fun and great about interacting with everyone at the shower. The kids present were very happy to feed the gators, visit the parrots, and pretty much wander around in between the games. I cannot recommend their services enough and I am beyond happy we chose here for our baby shower.“

“Tim and Eds’ Park Dive is the local place! Clean and friendly, “dive” is definitely tongue in cheek. Small without being cramped, you are immediately welcomed in like a friend and neighbor. There is a well-tended outside area with plenty of seating and occasional events. Prices are great but eat before you get here ‘cause there is no food. There is a nice selection of domestic a local craft beers and wines (but no liquor). Sports on tv and video games are there for entertainment, but conversation runs easy here and it’s a relaxing time.“

Open air so smoking is okay if that's your thing. Your drink strength correlates directly to how good of a conversation you can give the bartender.

🍸: I ordered a whiskey sour but got a Jack and Coke from a tipsy bartender on this day. The drink was... okay. But the memory will last a lifetime.

“We stopped in here for HH cocktails and oysters before dining at The Strand. I had the Jaguar’s Nap. If you like mezcal, you’ll love this drink. The oysters were delicious, too. It was a great find.
I also left my very expensive Gucci sunglasses at the table and the server found us after our exit to return them. That was very honorable of him.“

“This is a very fun place. The beers and drinks are literally half price than every bar in downtown Sanford. Thus the reason they are always busy and fun. They have touchtunes, a DJ, karaoke on Wednesday, Poker tournaments... and this list goes on. I always end up here as this has become my go-to. The food is a step above dive-bar bar food.“

“Hosted a 40th birthday party and the space was perfect for 20 people to mingle. Brittany was great to work with and the prices were reasonable. All the Guests commented on how good the ambiance and the decor was. Rachel, our bartender, was outstanding and could whip up lot of diff cocktails. The space also had a good A/V setup so I could do a slideshow via AirPlay on TV and stream music using the wifi speakers. Wish in the future they would start providing food from Neighbors. Will definitely consider hosting here again!“
