“My family and I are very happy with the place, the food is spectacular with a lot of Latin flavor. As Cubans, we feel very delighted with the place and the attention that all the waiters gave us since we entered was spectacular. Specifically, our waiter Eduardo gave us good recommendations. and he treated us like at home. In conclusion, I can only recommend it and recommend it again, it is an exceptional place ♥️♥️“

“Came here for a girls dinner with my dog and we had the best time!! Our server was Isa and was phenomenal! She Had excellent recommendations even for spice tolerance! I had the jerk shrimp skewers with Cuban bread with a dream fruit margarita per her suggestions! It was a nice tolerable spicy and the margarita did It's job: not too sweet but definitely tastes its impact! Will definitely go back for a girl dinner“

“Has to be my 100% favorite Caribbean restaurant in Miami. I am a huge fan of the chicken or goat roti and is my go-to , whenever I’m in the area. Food is generally spicy and I usually ask to make it a bit hotter. Location is CASH only but I promise you won’t be disappointed. There is limited area for dine-in, but many drink options and a great variety of hot sauces to buy. Bathroom is always very clean. Call ahead and your order will be ready in 10-15 minutes.
Vegetarian options: Pumpkin roti is wonderful“

“A plus if you speak and understand espanol as that is the primary form of communication here. Stopped in the evening for a game of pool, they have 2 tables. Not a large place, but large enough for a small to 20ish person gathering, seemed like they just had beer, but at good prices $4 for a modelo and the service was fantastic. They treat you like family. Not a super large parking lot, so if you come at a busier time I think you might have to find on street parking.“

“Being a Brit (laughs to himself quietly) I'm not used to really spicy food, however I wanted something different to eat during my layover. The guy behind the counter assured me their patties weren't too blow-your-socks-off hot! I ordered a couple and a sour sop juice... Really glad i stopped! Very tasty and not too spicy.“

“Absolutely wonderful food with authentic flavors. The beef is tender, the rice and pease had excellent seasoning, and the mac salad was a great way to balance the heartier flavors of rice and stewed beef. The medium portion is enough to feed two! Will be back.“

“I have been going to this conch restaurant since I attended the University of Miami in the 80's, 44 yrs ago, and it is as great today as it was back then. I just went on Saturday conch was cooked to perfection .
Whenever I go to Miami one of my 1st stops is to Shakers for my conch and pigeon peas and rice! SO DAMN GOOD!“

“The majarete is very good but the tamale is no longer the same, it is made of atina, not sweet corn, if they don't change, I don't buy it anymore when they started, if they made it with ground corn, the last one I ordered was made of flour, it was very bad and the meat had no flavor“

“Had a light lunch at Cascade poolside at the Biltmore and it was fabulous. You can’t beat the beautiful location next to the pool. I ordered Shrimp Ceviche and a Stella. The ceviche was very fresh with bits of avocado, mango and jalapeño and lots of lime juice. It was very tart just the way I like it. The chips were fantastic with a sprinkling of Tejin—Spicy and crunchy. They were out of Stella on tap, so I had the can, which was fine, but not as good a the tap. The service was prompt and friendly. If the rest of the menu is a good as the Ceviche, you’re in luck!“

“I lost a total of 51 lbs since I went on My Healthy Cuisine's HCG meal program. They took into consideration I'm a big guy and this special diet was adjusted to compensate for my caloric needs. I am on their weight maintenance program and love the food. They're old school when it comes to customer service. Pricing is good. The food is great. The weekly menu varies quite so I haven't gotten bored yet. They even give me "permitted" treats on and off. I hate dieting, but they made this into a lifestyle and not an obligation. I'm a fan. check them out.“
