“My husband and I eat at this Haitian restaurant whenever we’re in town visiting family, and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, well-seasoned, and full of real Haitian flavor. From the fried turkey to the rice and beans and the sides, you can tell everything is cooked with care and love, not just thrown together.

What really keeps us coming back is the way they treat us. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and respectful. They make sure we’re comfortable, check on us, and treat us like regulars every single time, even when it’s busy. The service matches the quality of the food, excellent.

The atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and feels like a true Haitian home, with good vibes, good music, and good people.

“Just visited Ali’s Roti Shop for the first time. First time having roti as well and I chose this location. I give honest reviews. Never like to give a bad review unless it’s absolutely necessary. I only have one issue, I wish the portions wore more for the price. Ordered the roti curry goat. I looked up paratha roti prior to coming. That’s the one I really wanted and a customer came in behind me and ordered it, that’s when I remembered. It was my first time, I wasn’t given the options of which I’d like, but I guess that’s my responsibility to know so I will accept that. Food was delicious, spicy but I love spice. As stated before I just wish the portions were bigger. I will return however to try the boneless curry paratha roti.“

“I know some people are bashing about the prices being a little on the high side. Indeed it is, however Keep in mind this is Aventura mall; most restaurants are in the same price range. For more affordable options you all can try Burger King, Auntie Annie's, or kiosks throughout the mall. Nevertheless, great experience! I asked the cashier can I try a sample of the rice and beans and the djion djion rice and the owner brought it out from the back and both of them were absolutely delicious! “Best fried conch and shrimp ever. This is forever my place to go when I'm in town and want some seafood. The conch was tender not gummy or over cooked. The food was just delicious. The plate was overflowing, completely full of goodness. The French fries are lacking but the conch and shrimp makes up for it in abundance. The food is cooked fresh and put out there and you have a menu selection of different Rices and meats and vegetables a plate that's less than $6 I don't know how they do it... And it taste great... You will get a choice of rice a meat and a side of vegetable and a drink for less than $6..... And large portions BTW...
Typically when I order there I can split my plate for noon and afternoon meals... Again.... This is $6!!!!!!“

“When my family and I arrived at Big Yard we were instantly welcomed and made to feel at home. The service was exceptional and the food was spectacular. It was made with so much love and effort. “I called last Tuesday evening to get information about catering for an event this past Sunday. I spoke with Tasha. I must say she came across so kind and caring. I gave her my proposed menu, number of expected guests and the time that I would need the food. Tasha kindly helped me with refining the menu and I placed the order. I went to the restaurant Wednesday to pay for my catering. Although Tasha was off that day she had left details of my order with her coworkers which facilitated any easy payment. Later I had to add a few more people and without any problems Tasha again facilitated my additions and advised that I could just pay for the added meals on Sunday when I picked up my original order. Sunday arrives and I arrive a few minutes early for my pick-up. I had to wait a few minutes for my food because they were still making everything fresh and hot. Again the young lady helping me could not have been more helpful. My food was delicious and plenteous. All of my guest raved about how much food and how good it was. Most of my guest were not used to West Indian cuisine. They LOVED everything. To illustrate that they all took plates home with them. Thanks to Coconutz the event was an overwhelming success. Special thanks to Tasha and the entire crew for all of your help. I highly recommend this quality establishment. The price is great for the quality and quantity of food. I would not hesitate to use them again.“

The food is seasoned well, but would be so much better if they weren't so spicy. The Ground Beef Spaghetti is so spicy that it's inedible... sucks because it would've been good. The Fried Fish Dinner was spicy too but I was able to finish it with 3 bottles of water. The Boulet dinner had a little kick to it where it was tolerable. The Chicken Wings With Fries were okay.“
