“Love this place so far. I’ve ordered pick twice and my experience both times were great. I got the jerk pasta which was a bit on the spicy side, but delicious. The flavors stick to your tongue. I also ordered the fry chicken and that gravy (sauce) on the side makes the meal for me. Please support this restaurant. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.“

“Holy cow!! Sacre Bleu! This is an outstanding Haitian restaurant. Truly the best out of the 4 I’ve tried here in Miami/ Fort Lauderdale. The food is fresh, delicious and full of flavor. I ordered the Griot, Diri rice, fried palintain, baked beef meat pies and fresh soursop juice. Everything was really incredible, down to the fried plaintain. I wil be back again and again. If you love Haitian Food this is certainly worth a visit. Also spectacular service! The lady who rang us up was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is a wonderful spot.“

“Very good service, good menu … not overly extensive. Food was very good quality all around. They know how to prepare home fries and their omelets are top-notch. She made the experience perfect. She brought out the food all at the same time and brought us anything we asked for. Would definitely come back to this place! The pasta and pizza are delicious! The breakfast menu is equally varied. I could have ordered at least 6 items on the menu. The service is great, prices are reasonable. The dining room and restrooms are clean and well maintained. Two thumbs up and 5 stars“
“1st had them when i was spending a week in Cap Haitien, Haiti last year and was set on trying the location in North Miami when i was back stateside... So finally decided to check them out with my niece. They are located right by the North Miami Museum of Contemporary art off of 125th ave. Staff is very friendly , helpful, and will quickly answer any questions that you may have. They not only offer Pizza but also griot tacos, wings, and more. We decided to eat in and ordered a medium Griot pizza and also a small Smoked herring pizza (to go). Griot pizza was so good we decided to also try the herring while there as opposed to waiting for later. We liked that even more! Definitely recommend. The US location is just as good as the one in Haiti.“

“Came here as a tourist for the jazz concert and needed something good and flavorful to eat. The food ambience and service were good.I was only in Florida for 3 days and I ended up eating here everyday. Since I couldn't find anything near the stadium that looked good. (Once at the table and twice at the bar...Bar service is quicker)Side notes: The food could be a little spicier but I think they play it safe for the tourist and They could have more vegetarian options. I do enjoy fish every now and then. But I had to eat it everyday since there was no other option.Also I noticed when I sat at he table the bartender was also our waiter (reason why I chose to sit at the bar my last 2 days) our waiter was nice but he seemed annoyed at times understandable so because he was being overworked.But other than that I was happy and would visit again.“

The food is DELICIOUS! I regularly come in for the curry and jerk chicken combination plate! The plantains are some of the BEST, they are made the right way! The cabbage and rice and peas are also delicious! The proportions are HUGE- you will not be hungry afterwards! They also make a Rum Cake that is DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS! Prices are VERY reasonable! “This is the first time I had roti, but it won't be the last. If you like curry, and have never had roti, I highly suggest you try Ali's Roti Shop. First, let me say when you go in you are welcomed with a smile. As some of the other reviews have said, the ladies in Ali's are welcoming and don't mind questions. For example, I thought roti was curry wrapped up like a burrito, but the menu says - chicken AND roti or beef AND roti. So hoping they would forgive my ignorance, I asked about this. (You can have yourcurry wrapped in roti like a large sandwich or separate is the answer by the way.) The portions are huge here!! So I suggest getting the roti on the side. Picking it up as a sandwich was yummy but messy. In fact, with the portions as large as this, I could have made several burrito like roti instead of just one huge one. The curry itself was slightly hot, according to my friend who was with me, who is Jamaican. His tolerance is higher than mine. I would say it is medium spicy lol. It was very tasty and filling and not so hot that I couldn't taste the spices and flavor. The curry spice is the star as are the big pieces of moist chicken. I also got a piece of carrot cake, which was moist and delicious with just the right amount of cream cheese icing. It was also a large portion. To drink, I got their pineapple ginger juice that they make there, and it was perfect- spicy and sweet. The place itself is very clean and homey. Overall, a great first experience with roti! Epic fail on pics as usual. Always forget to take til it is too late.“

Service was efficient and reasonably friendly. This is primarily a takeout restaurant, so the ambiance is somewhat lacking, but there's a nice mural.“

Sausage a little too spicy (but would’ve been great later with peppers and onions on a hoagie roll!) and the potatoes - lord the potatoes! Perfect little off the beaten path spot.
