“While traveling and using public transportation, the city bus dropped us off down the road from Candy's Place and the connecting bus was running late. We walked down the street and discovered Candy's Place purely by accident. We originally went inside to have one beer and walk back to the bus stop. Waited at the bus stop again but decided to skip the bus and go back to Candy's Place because it had such a positive impact on us and we didn't want to leave. Candy's Place is so nice and welcoming inside and as soon as we met the owner and customers we knew right away this place is very special. We spent the rest of the day and evening there, met new friends and everybody made us feel so welcome and at home. Maribel, the owner, is an amazing and beautiful soul...she made us feel so welcome and her Platano Fritos are amazing and her Cuban coffee is absolutely the BEST coffee I have ever had. To Maribel and your local customers...thank you for inviting us in as part of your neighborhood family, we will never forget your kindness and generosity. Our experience was so memorable, we are definitely coming back to see you. If we were local, we'd be there every day.
Candy's Place is clean and neat with a warm ambiance. There is karaoke on the weekends, pool table, juke box, breakfast and lunch is served right there from the kitchen...there's no need to go anywhere else, it's home away from home.“

“The quality of food is high, for that I recommend it. The reason I wouldn’t go back is that the staff just did not care we were there at all. Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“

“The food was pretty good.
They charge 18% dine in fee 7% taxes and i tipped the guy at the register.
I ended up paying 53$ for 1 soup and 2 croissants.
Is the food 5 stars? Yes!

“We found this restaurant by accident but we were sooooo glad we did! The food was SPECTACULAR. Everything tasted fresh, the burger was so juicy and flavorful, the Philly cheesesteak was so tender and filling. We tried the chai tea (it could use a bit more flavor/syrup) and the taro boba (which was good but they didn’t have the tapioca which would’ve made it so much better). Overall it was a great dining experience. We are looking forward to going again. Thank you!
Kid-friendliness: The store was decorated in Harry Potter decor for Halloween. It was super cute. They also had plenty desserts and a kid menu for smaller customers.“

“On the busiest Labor Day Monday, my friend and I came to check in. The two women in the front were handling every piece of the front end business with class.
Yvette stood out the most for her ability to juggle service at the register, take out and seating customers. I watched for 15 minutes while waiting for my table and she greeted EVERYONE, ensured prompt updates and wished everyone leaving a wonderful day. This kind of service has to be praised. She is the main reason I will continue to come to this location.
Next at the table even with the volume we were greeted within 5min of being seated. With the volume Yvette communicated the delay, which we understood with patience. Service was wonderful and the food was amazing. I tried the morning meditation and it was vibrant, must try! I was skeptical about multigrain pancakes but they didn’t disappoint!
We were no exception to the wonderful farewell from Yvette as we left. 😊 Overall 10/10.“

“I didn't know this restaurant was owned by cracker barrel. The biscuits are unbelievably good. Huge, flaky, crispy.
The concept is slightly different that typical sit-down restaurant.
You order your food, pay for it at the counter and wait for your name to be called.

“Cute cafe in a hotel but it does have its own entrance. The ham and cheese empanada and almond croissant were both FIRE! So fresh and soft! Really delicious! “After reading previous reviews on The Hilton blue lagoon Miami we decided to try this as an alternative to eating breakfast in the hotel This is situated in the corporate building “ carecloud” next to the hotel which houses various businesses and obviously mainly caters for the people that work there You enter the building and it’s on the ground floor to the right Lovely breakfast of fresh fruit , eggs and ham , bacon and coffee and only $13 so amazing value Definitely worth a try“

“Typical I hop aaaabut a bit cleaner than in many other places in the USA, and I've been to 17 states and traditionally always in an I hop!
Beautifully decorated for Valentine's Day!! Prices cheaper than in Hawaii or Seattle for example.. was surprised! Food was quick and good even though the ihop was full!“

“We stopped by Curley’s Restaurant Sunday morning,and it was the best decision (food wise) that we made during our weekend in Miami.The menu was pared down with selections that made sense,well priced and made quickly.The food was EXCELLENT.I ordered the bacon,grits and eggs plate with a side of pancakes.,and was not disappointed in the least.We ended up meeting Curley who was so personable and a pleasure to speak with.We will definitely make the extra drive to Curley’s Restaurant,a hidden gem in Opa-Locka.“
