“I have literally been coming here for over 20 years that in itself speaks to the quality of the food. I use to live in Miami now live in Broward however that does not stop my weekly visits. The quality and quantity for the cost is amazing.........did I mention I love this place!

They were very accommodating to our needs and sat us away from a nice family with kids so we could have private adult conversation without disturbing them! ( it can be noisy on the beachfront cafes so you have to talk a bit louder!) overall very nice place!“

“1st time to Boynton Beach new location today. Outstanding burrata salad (arugula, tomato, prosciutto) and thin and perfect crust, cheese pizza. Paulina, our server, was delightful.Lots of pizza and salad options. Nice wine list, but doing dry January, so had to pass it up! I’m looking forward to returning….could do this once a week!“

“The food here is AMAZING. These are the *best* made plant-based burgers I've eaten that taste like meat. They even have plant based fried egg you can add to the burger that tastes like a real egg!

The atmosphere is super low key and chill so manage your expectations but it is great to go, grab a bite to eat, and chill with your friends!

I stop in sometimes just for lunch or to load up on some yummy goodness. It's great that they've expanded to the Fort Lauderdale area. I always recommend them to anyone I know. The best thing about it in addition to the taste is that it's 100% vegan, so there's no worry about contributing to animal cruelty when you buy their products. “Great service here, even in December. Becker is the man! They kept it hot even when it was a bit chilly out. Great food, stick with the classics and you cannot go wrong. Margaritas and Dos Equis all around. Keep it friendly and who knows, they may hook it up with a friendly gesture back! Its mamas tacos for me and mine. Love it.“

Any angle you look at it: food quality, taste and presentation; service impeccable; cocktails far from average & usual - interesting, full flavor, gorgeously presented. The dishes and cups. The edible bright flowers that bring life and color to the plate. The waiters! Knowledgeable, delicate, with a sense of humor. Violinist - modernistic rap music that sounds like Bach. Ambiance. The light low key table lamps that look like candles. Beautiful photography and chachkas on the walls. One of the main courses we ordered - polenta with crab meat. I could just do this polenta alone like a dessert cream brûlée. It's a place to return to. “I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“The Vegan Marie is a all vegan Hatian restaurant in the Little Hati neighborhood of Miami. Very friendly owner who let me sample two different kinds of juice made in house. This family run restaurant has been around for four years as of March 2025. I love supporting all vegan restaurants whenever possible. This was my first time experiencing Hatian food. I went with the Spelt wrap that was tasty and served in ample portions. It came with a flavorful sauce. It came with a healthy and tasty kale salad. 5 stars for the food yet am deducting one star because when dining out I like to dine in and unfortunately there was limited seating with the only seating being outside the restaurant with two chairs encompassing a small table therefore took my meal back to my guesthouse to enjoy it there. Pro tip: Get your food to go and am sure you will enjoy this unique cuisine!“
