“We were in Florida for several days and I ended up here every day trying something for dinner. There were so many people that made our experience amazing but the person that made the experience extra special was Sanchez. Fantastic recommendations and the drink that he recommended was amazing. (Just ask for the Sanchez) Wonderful food (Diana at the ceviche bar) and atmosphere with the deck (even with the heat) was amazing. I will definitely be returning.“

“I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. We were shocked to see the size of the chicken that was brought to our table as it was extremely small. Not only was the chicken tough to break apart to put on our plates, but it was also hollow in the middle, lacking meat. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for charging $50 for what they call a whole rotisserie chicken when it didn’t appear to even be half of a rotisserie chicken. Also, we never received bread and butter at all, during our dining experience, which I believe was included with our meals. To say we are disappointed is an understatement however, we will never be dining at this restaurant again.“

“I was looking for a restaurant for a large group of us that was in Orlando for a convention but wanted to go out as a group on one of the nights where dinner wasn't provided. I initially made a reservation for 20 people, then added another 5 the day of the reservation. They set aside 3 large tables for us in one area and we ended up adding 2 more tables to accommodate our whole group. We had an excellent experience with great service for all of our tables! The food was delicious, the drinks were really good, and the best part for this large group was that the bills could be split at each table using the kiosks at each table. It was easy and everyone left very happy! This was perfect for our large group that ended up being 31 total!“

The combination of the sweet and spicy glazed shrimp with the crunchy onions, bell peppers, and shaved cabbage over a bed of stir-fried lomein noodles was out of this world. The hot pepper sauce was perfectly spicy and flavorful! It really added a nice touch to the already perfected dish. I also loved pairing it with the banana soda which the lovely lady who took my order kindly suggested I try. The talented and kind cook also came to check on how the food was tasting and I swear I could've kissed her due to how exceptional everything was. It was truly an experience. “The food at this restaurant is on point! We wanted the feeling of a Caribbean Home cooked meal for Thanksgiving and they nailed it! The Salmon was light and fluffy, the stew chicken and jerk turkey were succulent, and of course the rice and peas, macaroni and potato stuffing all tasted like they came straight out of grandma’s kitchen!!!! The catering service provided by Ojah and the team was greatly appreciated. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!“

I ordered the curry chicken with rice & peas, cabbage and plantains. Delish!! My husband ordered the jerk pork with rice and plantains. This is the spot if you want some really good Jamaican food. Braydon was our waiter and he was so kind to let us taste a little of the entrees that we had questions about. Check them out! You won’t be sorry!“

“I have been to A & A cuisine three times now, the roti has been consistently delicious. I usually get the shrimp curry, big juicy shrimp. I haven't had a chance yet to visit on a Saturday for the doubles, hopefully soon. I've also called in advance to order just the roti skin, you have to call by Wednesday to pick up on Friday. I would definitely recommend. The family who owns this food truck are just so nice and friendly, great customer service. I will visit anytime I am in town.“

“I've been visiting Freddy's kitchen for 6 months once or twice a week. The food there is excellence. The Brown stew, chicken oxtails, curry chicken, the made to order, even the patties. This is one of my favorite spots, small Jamaican. Good food restaurants. I've tried many others in Orlando. This is one of the best ones I found. The service is top-notch place is always cleaned.
