“Seasons 52 never disappoints us and that is why we go back over and over. We tried the new Alaskan Butterfish on the fall menu. It melted in my mouth. Ponzu broth was good but personally, I prefer the butterfish to be cooked miso glazed and the rice under the fish to be dry. The wilted spinach in between the tower of fish and the rice was a very generous portion and the shiitake mushroom topping was just right. I will ask the broth to be on the side when I go back for this dish again!“

“We’ve tried this Yard House on I-Drive three times over the past 12 months while on vacation because the location is great, but the food has let us down every visit over the past year. The staff is excellent—attentive and friendly—but the quality from the kitchen just isn’t there. Last night, our salad came out swimming in dressing, the sandwich with truffle fries had cold fries, and the pizza was also served cold. The manager did comp the salad since it was inedible, which we appreciated, but overall we left disappointed and still hungry.
We go to the Yard House near home regularly and the food is always great, so it’s frustrating that this location has been consistently below expectations. Sadly, we’ve learned this one just isn’t for us, even though we love the spot and the service.“

“We had high expectations for Maxine's and they exceeded those expectations! From the attentive service to the welcoming greeting by the owners, we really enjoyed our visit. After reading all the positive reviews, we drove an hour to experience it for ourselves. The picture of the skillet lasagna on their website was the final push to make the trip and it didn't disappoint!“

“The BEST! If you are looking for the best of everything in a dining experience, look no further then Marlow's Tavern. A true gem! When you walk in, it's too a sparkling clean dining area, with a coziness that envelopes you in comfort with deep colors, and the a/c is just right, the background music is just right, and the hostess finds you a nice corner that accommodates a mobility scooter and the other 3 in your family are comfortably seated in a wrap around booth. The table is not attached to the floor so that even larger members of your party, can be comfortable. Our waiter, Mario was top notch right from the start, explaining to us how the restaurant is a cut above a typical restaurant by making everything from scratch the food and the drinks (even the drink juices and mixers are all made fresh in house) We wanted a tropical drink that was not in the menu, they made us exactly what we were looking for! Then the chef came out to personally greet us and welcome us even providing us with a surprise that made us feel like VIP's. Our waiter described a few of his own favorite dishes. And answered our questions and advised us on the menu to meet our specific tastes along the way. Then came the food!!! We ordered a crab dip with buttered saltines, shrimp and grits, a lump crab salad, prime rib french dip, and asparagus fries. We LOVED every single bite(and ate every single bite, stopping just short of licking the plates) The BEST of everything, each forkful a delight and the best we have ever had! I mean the best crab dip. The best shrimp and grits( 2 members of our party mentioned that they were going to share, it was plated perfectly on two plates, with more shrimp on 1/2 the order then we had ever seen on a full order! The shrimp were succulent, firm, tasty and cooked to perfection.) The prime rib was cooked exactly as it should be and so tender it just melted in your mouth. Asparagus fries we almost fought over, a nice twist on one of our favorite veggies. The food was so good we even had to get 2 desserts to go(we were to full to eat more but it was so good!) that we wanted to try the desserts. As we were leaving, some live music started playing. Our only regret is this was only a quick stop for us before heading out on a cruise. We would have loved to be able to try everything on the menu, it was a difficult decision to decide on just one appetizer and one entree. Go and ENJOY THE BEST!!!“

“Stopped in for dinner for their magical dining menu (made a reservation on OpenTable.) The service was great, as well the drinks and meal. Views were fantastic. So cool watching planes take off while having a nice sit down dinner. Off the magical dining menu, we had: Apps: - the fried oysters - fantastic - beef short rib sliders - only came with one. The flavor of the beef was to die for, but the beef and the sticky bun were quite dry. (We think the beef may have been added to the bun while too hot, and it pulled out the moisture) Entrée: - salmon - the salmon was a super small portion, maybe 3oz. Cooked to perfection with a crispy skin. It was served over some kind of lentil - which was a little undercooked/hard but good flavors. - short rib - this was delicious. It was quite salty, but I love salt so I didn’t mind. It was served with polenta cakes - which had a little kick to them, so I don’t recommend and if can’t do spice at all. Dessert: - cheesecake - super fluffy texture just how we like it. Had a nice flavor, however it tasted like it may have been stored for way too long, so we didn’t get past a couple bites. I hope they order some fresh ones - shortbread - this one was fantastic. Nice presentation, lots of flavors, great texture. Would definitely have this again, but would request them to remove the fruit purée pool it sits in. Drinks: - Passionfruit mojito mocktails - recommend (not on the menu, but they were happy to create any mocktails for us) - Canvas Cabernet - recommend Overall the meal was 8/10. Main gripe was finding the entrance of the hotel when driving around the airport, as the GPS took us to departures in terminal A - but we called and got directions. We were told go around arrivals and departures of terminal B, and follow the brown signs first for the North exit, then for Hyatt hotel/valet. Valet parking is free for dinner (don’t forget to tip 😉.)“

“As always, another phenomenal dinner at Sixty Vines. Popped in for a late night dinner with my best friend, our server was attentive and great to talk with. I sadly do not remember his name. We sat right behind the lounge on 12/13 if this helps to recognize him. We came in for a bottle and shared apps, which were all greatly presented and full of flavor per usual, kudos to the kitchen team.“

“First time trying this place out after passing by it multiple times and it was beyond my expectations. We went during happy hours and got two bottles of chardonnay and a shrooms pizza and some type of charcuterie board. “This is probably one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Disney for me so far. It is expensive, don’t get me wrong, even with the dining plan it’s 2 credits, but this restaurant delivered. \nThe staff was very professional and definitely up to the task to deliver service matching the price level. We were seated at a different table without a fuzz when we didn’t appreciate the proximity to the air conditioner outlets at the first table. It was great that this was possible. At the table the waitstaff was very accommodating and friendly. Really great!\nThe food was delicious! Although the portion size was on the smaller side when someone is paying the price on the menu. They’re large enough to not leave hungry, but could be slightly bigger. They’re large enough desserts on the other hand were perfect portion size wise and even for the price on the menu ok. \nAll in all I would come back here any day and we were very, very happy with what we got here. Great job Team Flying Fish!“

“If you haven't made it to Soco's Sunday Brunch yet, what are you waiting for?! Grab a friend or two and get a sampling of a few plates to share, you won't be disappointed! Today we had the fresh made biscuits with house jams, fried green tomatoes, Pork Belly Sliders, fried chicken & French toast and breakfast tacos. Talk about flavor and the portions were great. The French toast was downright orgasmic, that bourbon maple syrup will bless your soul. Seriously, go see for yourself, best brunch in Orlando or any other meal for that matter.“

“I was searching for the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday, and The Stubborn Mule in Orlando just fell into my lap — what a gem! I met my cousin who lives nearby, and we were looking for a good meal, great vibes, and a few laughs.
Our server, Jessica, was absolutely amazing — friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like queens! She knew the menu inside and out and gave the best recommendations. We started with the Edamame topped with grated Parmesan, which came in a generous portion and was so flavorful.
For the main course, I ordered the Smash Burger with Garlic Broccolini — I was thrilled to learn it’s made with grass-fed beef. My cousin had The Stubborn Mule and Cheesy Gouda Grits, and she loved every bite.
To top it all off, Jessica surprised me with a Salted Caramel Cheesecake for my birthday — such a sweet touch!
I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday lunch — great food, amazing service, and perfect outdoor weather in downtown O-Town. I’ll definitely be back! 🎉“

“What a great surprise! Amazing food in a clean space with a genuine smile. We weren't even hungry, but we stopped for a bite anyway. I had the yummy, hand-dipped corndog and my husband had the polish sausage with onions & peppers. That crisp bun makes all the difference! You have to try this place. “Highball & Harvest - Orlando - 4.5 Stars "If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst forth at once in the sky, that would be like the splendor." -- Gita Highball & Harvest is a restaurant inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel. The Ritz works very hard to deliver an amazing overall experience whether in lodging or in dining. While I did not stay at the hotel itself, the opulence that surrounds you upon entering the restaurant is sumptuous. You have to take a circuitous route to get to this eatery but once seated you have great views of lush flora and fauna that are carefully manicured. The attention to detail is astounding. The only downside to this spot is that the open air nature of this area caused sound to reverberate. Normally, this is not a big deal, but there was a gaggle of men hard-pitching what sounded like a Ponzi-like scheme to some young adults nearby. I tried to ignore them, but the leader of the pitch had a bellowing voice that carried throughout the place. He looked and sounded just like Marty Funkhouser from "Curb Your Enthusiasm." It was hard to avert my eyes because he apparently had obtained hair transplants years ago and did not have the foresight to consider future baldness. So he had perfect rows of wispy red hair on his head, a complete ring of baldness, and then more hair. Anyway, while this is a major digression from the point it was hilarious to watch and listen. I didn't need to stick my head in my phone for entertainment. Now, back to my culinary experience. Highball & Harvest has, like all modern American restaurants, a craft drink menu. A highball is another name for cocktail, which was big in usage at the turn of the last century. I chose to imbibe and picked the Industrialist from the menu. This consisted of Woodford Reserve double bourbon, Creme de' Menthe, and Fernet Branca. How they came up with this combination is beyond me but WOW! - it works. I ordered three sides instead of a full meal this time, choosing brussel sprouts with sherry-maple gastrique, Jimmy Red's goat cheese grits, and red cabbage deviled eggs. At first I was worried about the maple gastrique but my worry was for naught. The maple was barely noticeable but the sugars gave a potent punch on the finish. Now, as far as cheese grits go, I will eat them whenever they're on the menu. These Jimmy Red's had so much wonderful cheese I almost want to call it cheese with grits - truly amazing. Finally the deviled eggs: The chef who designed these eggs should get national recognition. The filling was smooth and creamy. The red cabbage finish topped with the pumpernickel crouton is the kind of crisp, clean, simple dish I so enjoy. I can't say enough good things about Highball & Harvest. Their dishes are simple, yet complex, and contain the right balance of flavors with recipes that are outside of the proverbial box.
