“I still give this place a 5 star rating. There are two locations near where I live but I choose to go here because of the service. Miss Willie is such a pleasant person as well as the other girls working there. The current manager (Charles?) used to be a cook there and he was nice. Now I sense a little arrogance in him and makes you feel he does not want to resolve an issue or concern.
I understant that there is no law in Florida requiring restaurants to provide drinking water to customers. But I drink water everywhere I go, not because I am cheap but I just really like water with lots of ice. Last night, we were going to dine in as usual and bought a small drink and asked for a cup for water and the manager explained that people ask for water cup and get soda instead. For me to have water, I have to buy a bottled water or pay for the cup.
I explained that if I want to steal drinks, I would have just drink from the same cup of my spouse instead but being honest, I will not do that. If they are really trying to control their food cost, then put the drinks behind the counter instead. The manager would rather lose a sale than to provide a one time exception to a customer who has been going there since 2015. We left because of that and would most likely not come back unless they change that policy.“
“Recently went to KFC (Williamsburg) and tried to place my order. I was met with a surly manager who took my order. When I tried to place it, he told me I couldn't have the pieces I wanted. This was a lie, since I had just watched them bring out 8 trays full of what I wanted. I told him I didn't believe him. Don't know why he lied and was so rude to me.
Walked out and went to this Popeyes where I was met with smiling, courteous people who gave me wonderful service and great, fresh food! Thank you Popeyes you have great people working for you! BTW--every time I go this Popeye's the service is always the same--great! Never going to KFC again.“
“Chicken was delicious overall. That said, the "Ghost Pepper" is about as spicy as black pepper. Sorely disappointed by that, and I swear the fries taste stale. They seemed fresh and crispy I could tell they seemed fresh made I don't blame the store just the flavors seemed lacking. Also, girl complaining "it's too slow I can't do it" you the problem. If you girl EVER Go to a place and think man why is the service so slow? It's you. Look in a mirror. They aughta drop your hours hon I KNOW they got someone else there that could use em.“
“This is the best Popeyes near us! The food is always fresh! The employees are actually very kind and polite. Jerry and Madeline at the drive through window was exceptional and filled with a positive attitude which was nice for a change.

“Food was very hot and fresh. Lady at window was very helpful and pleasant. I wanted butter, they did not have. She went out her way get me some butter in a small to go cup. Chicken was juicy and hot. Clean , very fast service. Enjoyed all I ordered.

I open the box, after I left the restaurant, and there is a breast and thigh. I think they need to be trained on the difference between a leg or thigh!!!!“
“I have been coming to this popeyes for years, recently I have noticed things going better, wait times are down, the lobby has been cleaner, and the food well is always good. My biggest complaint are the big screens to order, how i wish there was a cashier avalible like the old days! very happy to see my local popeyes doing better , PLEASE keep this up!!“
“I ate here today and waited a while for my food because it was so packed and they dropped a fresh batch of chicken. The staff was soooo stressed but they were moving quick and trying their best. They had trouble understanding a group that didn’t speak English very well but didn’t get frustrated or impatient. Props to the staff working around 3 PM on Nov 15!“

“I have to give a huge shoutout to the amazing staff at this Popeyes location! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and assisted with genuine enthusiasm. Special kudos to Jackie, Pricilla, Janon, and Tiyana—they truly embody excellent service and made our visit exceptional.
The difference between this location and the other one (on East Colonial) is night and day. Over there, I’ve literally had my order taken by someone eating chicken bones—totally unprofessional. That’s why I’d rather drive 12 extra minutes just to come here, where I know my food is handled properly and my hard-earned money is valued.
