“We came to Eaton’s to celebrate my brothers 65th birthday. We had no trouble parking, were greeted warmly. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our Server Savannah did everything right. Friendly service, she made excellent suggestions for dinner and checked on us steadily, but not too much. She was warm and personal. Made my brother the birthday Man, feel special. Oddly, it was Savannah’s birthday too!“

“Nichole, our server, was outstanding as usual. In fact, she’s the best I’ve seen in the last decade. She works hard. She’s very efficient and sharp as a tack. Whatever you are paying her is not enough. She is also a lot of fun for a bunch of old crazy golfers like us. She can turn a bad day of golf into a fun time at lunch. Darrell’s is really good, too.“

“Out of town visitors, noticing a parking lot full of cars was a calling for us to stop. We were not disappointed the restaurant was full of charm and wonderful aroma. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar with locals and have the best female bartender! Forgot to mention…the pizza was amazingly good!“

“Nicole was prompt to take drink orders, deliver and take food order. Someone else delivered food, but husband did not receive the salad he ordered. We had to flag her down to tell her. “HIGHLY recommend Valerie for coordinating & catering weddings. She came through BIG TIME for our wedding. She had to drive an hour to get water goblets the day of our wedding bc I told her I wanted them. She did what it took to make the most beautiful wedding. Food was amazing and she took my vision and brought it to life. Exceeded my expectations!!!!!“

“Today was our first time to eat there. It will NOT be the last! Karen was our server and she was FABULOUS. I'm from Illinois and I missed pork tenderloin sandwhiches. They make a fabulous one. Karen took great care to make sure our order was perfect and out food was perfect and told us about the owners. Best eating experience we have had in a long time.“

“My favorite Mexican restaurant in Sumter County. Authentic flavors, easy to have a different dish each visit. They do it all wonderfully. But the Burrito Azteca is amazing! Get one and a margarita and enjoy!“

“We gave our name and were told, “30 minutes.” After one hour checked and were told, “7 ahead of you.” After one hour and 15 minutes were told, “2 ahead of you.” After watching 4 go ahead of us checked again. Manager said, “ thousands are checking in every day. We’re doing what we can.” After one hour and 45 minutes, and harassment from us, we were finally seated. Very poor experience.“

“After golf, 4 of us stopped by, sat at bar. Ricki took wonderful care of us, we had 2 meat loaf meals, 1 fish and chips, and a chicken rice bowl. All were delicious. Place was packed when we left, I would have to say mostly local folks who know a good place. One of our favorite places.“

“Thank you Denny's for the free breakfast for Veterans Day. The food was so good and came to the table hot. Our server, Erika was outstanding! She was so sweet, and helpful and kept checking on us and filling up my husband's coffee. We weren't expecting this because of how crowded it was but Erika handled everything with ease. She is the best server we have ever had since moving here. You are lucky to have such a caring employee.“

“Our friends took us there for my birthday the other night. It was absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. The quantity was just overwhelming overwhelming. The three of us got a bento box and we absolutely loved it. I would go back and get that 100 times over my husband got a teriyaki shrimp dinner which had 12 huge delicious shrimp on it. The prices were more than reasonable and we had an absolutely lovely dinner. What a hidden treasure. We will definitely return.“

“What a wonderful hidden gem in Belleview. You would be surprised that a place as nice as this could come from this town but be pleasantly surprised. The breakfast menu is limited and at first I thought that would be an issue but no- what they do have is amazing! Not always do they have tiramisu but if they do while you are there- be sure to get it! The inside dining atmosphere is quite an eyefull. You will feel like your eating inside of a thrift shop. So much chaos but in a fun way. Be sure to stop by this spot in Belleview - you will not regret it!
Parking: Parking is available. There is no valet service offered here if a man named "Greg" offers to park your car for you- Do not trust him!“

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.“

“My mom introduced me to this cafeteria while I was visiting her from NYC. I had the Oxtail dish with rice and beans and maduros… and it was AMAZING!! It was so good, I had to go back at least one more time to have the oxtail before leaving Florida. Next time I come back to visit, I would love to try the other dishes (they all look so delicious). I love oxtail, tho… and I have to admit that this is one of the best oxtail dishes that I’ve had. As far as the atmosphere of the cafeteria, I found it to be clean and bright while surrounded by quaint and cute decor that made me feel comfortable and relaxed while having my meal. I had such a great experience that I look forward to visiting Villa Pinar again the next time I visit my mom!“

“It was our first time at Sammy Joe's. We tried their Sammy's pizza tonight and absolutely delicious. Fluffy crust with a special seasoning. Just perfect 👌 My toddler also approved the pizza. Will be going back to try other things in the menu.“

“5+ stars to the City Fire restaurant and the amazing HOPE for a fantastic experience and great food. Our 14 year old Akita Wishy was warmly greeted and invited to join us at one of the outdoor patio tables. Hope was SO great with Wishy -- lots of water refills -- and finding out Hope loves dogs and that City Fire is so dog friendly just made our visit that much better. Oh and the French Dip and Burger we ordered were great -- and the Bourbon Sour -- perfect! We'll bring Wishy back for more fun soon -- and we'll be requesting one of Hope's tables for sure!“

“First time we went in to eat a pizza with our favorite topping caramelized onion and roasted red pepper 🌶️ it was absolutely amazing 💯 the next two times we went in and ordered it to go with the same toppings, but they do not load up on the toppings that you purchase if you’re taking it out and the crust is softer, I guess it depends on who is making them that day. Love the service though and decor 👍 just some advice when somebody orders toppings be a little bit more generous and make sure each piece of pizza has them on!“

“We have been coming here since they opened. And have been very happy. Tonight we ordered our normal number 23., we were told it will be an extra 50 cents to make it a little spicier cooked in. I'm not quibbleing about the 50 cents, but it's never been done before. Just saying.“
