“Having experienced the best sushi in the world through my travels, I would put this in the top 10.
However, they need to work on their portion control. 1- You can choose 12 or 17 presentations. All presentations are the same and prepared the same. —unfortunately… Last night’s experience there were three sushi chefs… The group on our right ordered the 12 -as did myself and my girlfriend. The portions were 33 to 40% bigger on the right with the sushi chef closest to them. Every single piece that came out to us was noticeably smaller, even though we had the same exact 12 piece choice. I did not go home hungry, but there was a noticeable difference so we’re not sure whether the sushi chef on our left made them smaller, or the right size… or the chef on the right was making them too big. The bottom line is it doesn’t look fair when they’re serving— especially at that price. Paying a premium for sushi such as this, you would assume the portions would be the same. That was my only disappointment.“

“As an Asian who traveled to Japan several times and lived in CA for almost 30 years, I have been spoiled with great Japanese food. We moved to Florida last year and joked that the state food for Florida was mediocre sushi, not until we discovered Ebisu. We love the wide variety of authentic Japanese dishes. I also love its sushi rice, which compliment the beautiful fish. Wish it were closer to where we live!

Parking: Ample parking space in the shopping center

Kid-friendliness: The ambience here is very casual and comfortable. Great for family get together with kids.“

The teriyaki salmon has an excellent portion of fish and veggies, and they have soy paper for those who don’t eat seaweed on ones small rolls. As for sushi I recommend asking for Escolar small rolls, they aren’t on the menu but they will custom make them. They’re very buttery smooth fishies.“

I was appalled by the behavior of the owner towards his employees. Cussing and yelling at his staff, treating them with no respect. I was embarrassed by his unprofessional behavior and wondered how he keeps his staff. After talking to a customer who was sitting near me they told me the longest staff member was only there 4 weeks. “Apparently this is a private yacht club. It is highly recommended to make a reservation. The restaurant is gate operated but we were allowed in on a "slow" night. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and teriyaki vegetables. The Mac and cheese was very tasty and a large enough portion to make the price a value. The teriyaki vegetables tasted fine but didn't go with the Mac and cheese. The service could be a little better. It took a minute to get refills. One member of our party had to ask three people to place her order.“

Parking: Strip plaza parking. Spaces in front of the restaurant are limited to handicap only. The walk from the main parking is not far just a bit challenging; not well lit, and steps to navigate. If it's dark, it could be difficult for mobility challenged.

Wheelchair accessibility: 2 Handicap parking spots close to the door. Ramps near stores, just not from main parking area. No drop designated off area in this plaza. It could be challenging if the close parking is filled.“

“We were traveling through and needed something to eat. It has been a long time since we have had not only real, decent quality sushi but also one that is reasonable at the same time. They do not serve Krab but Crab, they have real tuna, offer great conversation, patient, and very friendly. They also serve amazing real pickled ginger(not the jar pink dyed garbage)

We also arrived 30 min before closing and they served us with top notch service, smiles, it didn't feel like we were rushed or an inconvience for coming in late. We arrived from the keys after a week long python hunt and already tired and just dealing with travel troubles and all was forgotten when we arrived.

I am surprised they dont have 5 stars already.

I highly recommend the lobster plate and anything the owner suggests. He can help you get what you are looking or serve you what you dont even know you are missing!

“Such a lovely little place with outstanding customer service. My girlfriend and I decided to stop in for lunch here and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The food was phenomenal and our waitress was very friendly and punctual. Our food came out much faster than we had anticipated which at first seemed to be a concern. When we took our first bites of our food we were both amazed. I ordered the chicken with the house peanut sauce and it was delicious. My girlfriend ordered their Thai basil pork and peppers. The chicken and pork of our meals were cooked flawlessly and the peanut sauce in mine was perfectly spiced. I finished my meal in record time. Everything came together beautifully. I highly recommend stopping by this particular Thai lotus when you are in the area. We will be going again 100%“

The food was okay, wished the chicken and seasoned a bit more. They do charge for fried rice (which should be included) and 18% gratuity regardless of group size.“
