“Had a rough day yesterday and we were too overwhelmed to cook. I don’t usually like eating out because I’m a pretty good cook myself. I’m often disappointed with eating out. Evening finding an okay Chinese place is hard, but my go to was closed on Monday. I read Happy China was a popular pick on Door Dash so we tried it. THIS WAS THE BEST TAKE OUT CHINESE I HAVE EVER HAD. We ordered entrees and apps and everything we have was made with love, warm, packaged well, and a nice portion. Not only did Happy China feed us, it helped warm our sad souls. Thank you.“

“Ordered take out egg foo young and general tso. Tree in my neighborhood knocked out power lines blocking the road prevented me from picking it up for 2 hours. When I finally got there they remade the order fresh with a smile. Food was excellent, will come again.“

“The horrible racist people in the reviews are entirely wrong, been coming to this place since I was 10, they have the best Krab Rangoons I've ever eaten, the largest portions, my favorite is the happy family! You can even reuse the tupperwares they give you which is incredibly helpful. The owners are nice and accommodating, its not hard to understand an accent and have patience. Ordering online is easy and quick! Do not let ignorant people fool you! This is a good place to dine!!“

“I am new to New Port Richey and needed to find a good Chinese Restaurant. Hot Wok was located next to the Publix I shop in so I thought I would try them. It was easy to pick up my order after I picked up a few things at Publix.
I ordered Garlic Shrimp with white rice and egg roll. Everything was so good. The shrimp were not overcooked, they were plump and fresh. There was a touch of sweetness to the sauce which made it better. The portion size was perfect for me.
1 complaint is I got fried rice instead of white rice but it was all so good I did not care.
Egg roll was typical of what you find at other places.
Bottom line try Hot Wok for yourself I am glad I did.“

“There must be new owners. The food is awesome! We have tried so many dishes that were not included in the list. My favorite is the house lo mein! I also love the crab rangoon which is the best of any Chinese restaurants in out area. My husband likes all of the chicken dishes.

“I love this place, it’s hands-down my favorite Chinese spot in the area. My bf and I order from here regularly with no complaints, and we always do takeout. Affordable dinner and lunch combos - the two of us can eat for under $25 and be stuffed, which is great these days. Our faves include: wonton soup, sweet n sour chicken, chicken w/broccoli, boneless spare ribs, general Tso’s chicken, and their egg rolls. My family and I Order from here often. If you’re a Chinese food lover, like I am, you should definitely give this place a chance. They’re General Tso chicken, Beef lo mein, and their pork fried rice is one of many amazing dishes along with many others. I’m not really a big fan of their fried scallops though. Vegetarian options: They make a lot of dishes where only vegetables are included, and the food still taste absolutely delicious, for example, their vegetable lo mein, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable egg rolls etc. are fire! The food is absolutely delicious even if you’re a vegetarian or not.“

I ordered the szechuan (?) chicken with hot and sour soup, white rice and egg roll. best soup, the egg roll was crisp, hot and delicious, entree was ample and yummy. . My sis had the moo goo gaipan (?) egg roll and fried rice, which she enjoyed immensely. or waitress was attentive, kept our water glasses filled, and made us feel welcome. it's a bit of a drive but we will definitely return!!“
