“This was my second visit to the restaurant, and I was curious to see if my experience would improve. During my first visit, I found the service lacking; it wasn’t as inviting or friendly as I had hoped. However, the food was quite good—I ordered oxtails and rice, which were flavorful and satisfying.
Determined to give the place another chance, I returned and was pleased to find that the service had significantly improved. The waitress greeted me with a warm smile and engaged in friendly conversation, making me feel more welcome this time. She was not only helpful but also knowledgeable, recommending several other Jamaican bakeries and restaurants in the area that I might enjoy exploring.

“It's a beautiful environment. The servers are skilled and friendly. The menu is a bit limited and unadventurous, but the food itself is quite good and the portions are large (if you're with kids younger than teenage have them split a sandwich). Prices are reasonable, in the Hilton/Marriott range (i.e., a lot less than what we expected given the luxurious nature of the place).“

“I’m shocked at these reviews! I’ve been going to Sangos for the past 18 years, their oxtails have NEVER let me down. Yes- it’s expensive. But if you go to the store and buy oxtails, it’s expensive too!! And the food here is made with so much love. We always get the oxtails and goat. I’m not sure about the portions for others, but this is what I got today. SO GOOD!“

“Good place for Trinidad food - boneless chicken (curry) roti and doubles are my regulars. You can also find Carib beer and Solo among other favorite Carinbean soft drinks. There is some seating but prefer take out. Price of roti is about ten dollars and they take cash only. Definitely recommend you try this tasty food“
