“Had a great experience at SALT, the food, the service, and the atmosphere were phenomenal! We ordered the king crab, truffle fries, gnocchi + steak medallions, ribeye, kids linguine, and the pina colada cheesecake- everything was so, so good!!!! We basically ordered everything our waitress recommended to us, and there was zero disappointment! Also- whoever makes the espresso martinis (I love you) amazing! 10/10“

“WOW! We went last night while in town for a soccer tournament in Tampa.. Drove out to Sarasota to visit family and my cousin suggested here... and WOW the food was AMAZING! The service was FANTASTIC. The atmosphere was even better. This place is a must while in town!“

The Legion is a wonderful building with so many activities, friendly patrons, super staff who serve wonderful meals. “I know you know about authentic Italian pizza...But when I think of comfort, fun, feel good pizza, I go to LOADED BARREL. It's fun, it's friendly, and OMG the pizza is so good!!!! They have daily specials and old-time favorites. All around fantastic!!!“
“Happened across Scalawags after doing a quick Google search of the name while in Sarasota area. Came in about noon on a Wed, just a few mixed age locals there, friendly people, fun and good laughs! Mainly a pool tables and electronic games type bar, dimly lit. Kitchen opens about noon, had a beer on tap and ordered the Grouper Sub, which was great - would get it again. Had another beer. Cash only for Papa Ron's food menu. Bar service is Scalawags, pay separately from food - works for them and me - no problem. Will return!!BTW - The Scalawags name came to mind because of the recent Gasparilla fest in Tampa and also because there is a Scalawags Whiefish & Chips in Mackinaw City, MI that a good friend of mine created, owned and operated for 30 years - serves the BEST fresh-caught Great Lakes Whitefish anywhere! So if you ever go there - you won't be disappointed there either!“

“We had a fantastic experience at Compass Bar & Chill -- thanks to our wonderful server, Cindy. She was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel right at home from the moment we sat down at the pool area. Cindy promptly took our drink orders and brought them with a smile, then followed up to take our food order. Everything—from the delicious fish tacos to the perfectly cooked quesadillas—was spot on. She checked in to make sure everything was to our liking, and her attentive service truly stood out. Five stars all the way!“

We ordered fried oysters, French fries, and cheese grits, and everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender and flavorful inside. The cheese grits were just the way I like them—nice and thick—and the fries were a great complement to the meal. Even better, our food arrived quickly and fresh. Our waitress, Lilly, was fantastic, providing friendly and attentive service. We also appreciated how the rest of the staff greeted us warmly as we walked through the restaurant. It’s little details like that that make a place feel extra welcoming. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, including the bathrooms, which is always a big plus. “My favorite bar is Sarasota/Bradenton. The food reminds me of back home in Pennsylvania. The people remind me of a combination of the best people from the Eagles, Moose, and Elks combined with a family reunion of my favorite family members. I love this place.“

I love the Frank Sinatra and all the crooner music, played! I need to come back and try their Lobster Ravioli SOON! Still had to try their meatballs, which were great!
They have the rolls shipped from a bakery in Philly. Yes, they have seeds like alot of the modern day rolls. The Cooper Sharp Cheddar was very unique to me and I loved it. I know on a previous post, peeps were asking where the cheese was. The Pic doesn't show it but there is ample cheese.
Leftovers are going to be great! Highly recommend this local business...“

“What a great little place. Very friendly staff… Lucas was so sweet with my 4 year old & it’s obvious they are like that with all kids when u see the wall of “art” they have hung up that are colored by children. The bread before the meal was a nice touch & even had warm oil which was very good. I can’t speak for much of the food since all we got was one pizza but it was good. Cooked to perfection. I’d prefer a little more fresh basil & fresher tomatoes on the margarita pizza but my son enjoyed his half very much which was just cheese haha. I believe the owner came out & spoke to us which is always nice to see. The live entertainment musician even came over & chatted with us. Everyone we interacted with was so so sweet & friendly. We will definitely be back!“

“5 stars for family friendly atmosphere, great food, and cold beer! The owners Staci and Josh have worked so hard alongside their staff to bring back the Boiler Room and boy have they outdone themselves! We have been many times since they re-opened the doors, and every time has been great service and delicious food. Kid approved too! They were also very accommodating when we brought 11 family members in for Monday night football! We cannot recommend Boiler Room enough. YUM!“

“A very pleasant surprise that we stumbled upon. We decided to drive back into IMG at the 53rd Street entrance. We found the Legacy hotel. That’s where we found the cozy Icon grill. It happened to be happy hour an appetizers were half off along with drink specials. The food was excellent and we have shared this special place with many friends. The atmosphere was a bit loud since it sits almost in the hotel lobby. The outside is quiet and beautiful, sitting on a small lagoon.“
