“I think that Smash House is an amazing place. My husband happened upon it when he was at Wynn Dixie doing his weekly meat shopping. The owner gave him an intro deal (that was not even the great part) but it was 100 dollars for 24 patties and all of the fixin's including gluten free rolls! My daughter and I are gfcf so that was incredible. The flavors blended. The carmalized onions the sweet pickles and the red onions were so good together but to top it off there was cheese and the bun toasted was the best ever. This place needs more customers! pack it in because you won't be sorry“

The awesome staff at Perry's went over and above and served us some sumptuous wings, oxtail & jollof rice. My only negatives were getting charged extra for onion rings instead of fries for the kids meal, and the trash cans inside and outside were all overflowing. I was also entertained watching drivers try to parallel park along the curb at a 75 percent failure rate, which has nothing to do with the restaurant.“

I dont know what it is. Every morning i come to get the same order and she already knows who i am and i hear her happy voice and she is very attentive and patient when you are speaking to her. I love her vibe and how fast she is and gives out fresh food. She is the type of person that if you having a bad day she makes you feel happy and giving the right order and fresh food already makes you happy, makes you feel welcome. Not like others you pull to the window they look miserable, mad and just throw your food out the window and cold. They just dont care. “I had such a great experience at Applebee’s tonight! From the moment we sat down, our waitress Jen made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal, which I really appreciated.

The food was just as amazing as the service. I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp, and it came out hot and perfectly cooked, just like it always does. My daughter had the steak with mashed potatoes and absolutely loved it — she could not stop talking about how good it was!

The atmosphere was also a highlight. The recent renovation really made a difference — everything looked fresh, clean, and updated, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

“Venezuelan burgers at Trino — trust me, ignore the outside and go in.

This Coral Springs location has only been open about a month. It used to be a Peruvian restaurant called Italo (same owner), and honestly the exterior still carries that awkward in-between energy. Blacked-out glass, neon, very much “is this a vape shop or an adult bookstore?” vibes.

Then you walk inside — and it’s a complete personality shift.

The interior is a full-on nerd shrine: Star Wars posters, Marvel art, retro signs, guitars on the wall, framed pop culture everywhere. Clean, bright, casual, and clearly meant to be fun. It feels intentional, not kitschy.

The food absolutely backs it up.

These are Venezuelan-style smash burgers — double patties, aggressively juicy, stacked with white cheese, Munster, bacon, potato stix, and a soft toasted bun that somehow holds together despite the chaos. You can see it in the cross-section: no dry beef, no filler, just meat, fat, cheese, and crunch.

But the real differentiator here is the sauce situation.

They bring out squeeze bottles like you’re about to conduct a science experiment:

• Ajo (garlic)
• Blue cheese (excellent)
• Bacon (ridiculous)
• Sweet corn (unexpectedly great)
• Trino sauce (tangy ranch-style)

Get fries for the table and just start mixing. This place understands that sauces are not a garnish — they’re the point.

Beyond burgers, the menu goes full Venezuelan and Colombian: perros (loaded hot dogs), cachapas (sweet corn pancake sandwiches), empanadas, patacones. This isn’t a burger place pretending to do Latin food — it’s Latin street food that happens to do burgers extremely well.

The outside may make you hesitate. Don’t. Inside is fun, the burgers are legit, and the sauce game alone earns the visit.

“Smokey Bones is an American barbecue chain founded by Darden restaurants in Orlando Florida. They went on to open over 120 restaurants but by 2007 Smokey Bones was struggling and started closing half of them down. That same year they were sold to Barbeque Integrated. It has been awhile since I have been to Smokey Bones but a summer BOGO promotion brought my girlfriend and I in for dinner. Every day of the week they offer a different BOGO, Monday wings, Tuesday sirloin, Wednesday 1/2 rack of ribs, and Thursday brisket, On the weekends if you purchase a BBQ pack you get 2 free bag of donuts. They also have a late night Bones After Dark menu with $4, $5, and $6 light bites. They also have an everyday during the week special that gives you a full rack of ribs, 2 sides, and a beer, all for $20. I'm loving the deals! We came in on a Wednesday for the BOGO rib special. I started with a refreshing $5 Dirty Shirley that was potent for a drink special. We decided to share an appetizer of the chorizo queso that we both enjoyed. Our rib special allowed us to get 2 half rack of ribs and four sides for only $19.99. It was a bargain and I thoroughly enjoyed the fall of the bone glazed meaty ribs. I called it meat candy. The loaded baked potato and coleslaw were great too but sad to see they took the apples off the menu. You used to have dig up the $10 coupon if you wanted a discount. I prefer these excellent specials so much more. If you sign up for the loyalty program you even get $10 off your first meal. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I hope they carry promotions in to the fall. Smokey Bones has won me back.“

I have to say hats off to our waitress, Nisa, and the cook. She was a wonderful waitress and stayed busy cleaning the coffee area and food counter as well as keeping her eye on the customers.
