“New owners and the name is changing to Kirin. One thing that hasn’t changed is the best Chinese food in south Florida. We had hot and sour soup, lobster with ginger and scallions, Peking duck and beef chow fun. The dishes were all excellent. I hope the new owners are successful as I can’t wait to go back even though it’s a 22 mile drive from home. They don’t have their liquor license yet so bring your own for now.“

“First time at Asahi Chinese & Japanese Restaurant. Ordered ahead for pickup. Order was ready real quick. The staff was friendly and cashed me out fast. We got the shrimp lomain and the bourbon chicken dinner specials with wonton soup and egg rolls. Everything was packed good and their was no spillage. The food itself was fair. Everything was bland and lacked flavor. On the good side, nothing was oily and portion size was reasonable for the price. Maybe next time we will have to ask them to spice things up a bit. :)“

“I found nothing wrong with the place, perhaps issues trying to order because of accent and all, but it shouldn't be a problem if you are patient enough. Food is great, absolutely, amazing matter of fact, so is the service. Had no issue with them, they are all kind and welcoming. You usually don't see a horde of people inside, maybe a few waiting for their meals, so its a very quiet and comfortable place. I'd reccomend it. There is a family combo that cost us about less than 40, which is pretty generous if you ask me, fed my family of four and we couldn't even finish it.“

This was my first time there and the food was perfect for me
I asked the owner if he can make dishes without salt or soy sauce and he said no problem

“This place keeps showing up as a place to try. I decided to see what the fuzz was all about. It is not a restaurant as in the way we are used too. It's a take out place. It is small inside and it gets crowded. You don't want to eat inside. There are a few chairs inside but they are for waiting, not eating. The waiting is not long. The menu is posted on a wall and there is a counter where you can view some of the things the place has. The food is sold by the pound and it's cash only here.
I read some of the reviews. They all recommended the crispy pork. I got some and lived it. It was crispy. The honey roasted pork, I thin that is what I got. I liked too and I got other things that I can't name now. It's a great place to try new things.
The service is efficient. I suggest you know what you want before stepping up to the counter. The counter moves fast.“

“Stopped here for a quick lunch yesterday while running some errands and so I'm happy I did. Tokyo Peking Express is located in Tamarac in the Publix plaza that has Xfinity. The restaurant feels very comfortable with nice seating, large tables and great lighting. You take your order at the front register and wait until they bring your food out to you. Everything is made fresh to order. I ordered the lunch special (sesame chicken, pork fried rice and an egg roll). I also ordered fried wantons and two cans of coke. One thing is for sure you will need to go boxes because it is a lot of food. I was also pleasantly surprised that even when I took some food home with me it still tasted fresh and warm. All and all I recommend Tokyo Peking Express if you are looking for great Chinese Food in the Sunrise/Tamarac area.“

I had Wonton soup, Moo Shu Pork and an appetizer of eggrolls. the downside is they had no crispy noodles to munch on while we r waiting for our food, and the dinner did not come with eggrolls, or with real authentic fried rice, only brown or white rice. im a big fan of NY style fried rice and it was disappointing, however I could have ordered a side of pork fried rice for $14. overall since the food was excellent I would highly recommend Red Ginger. I order chicken and vegetables from the special diet menu with spicy white sauce and it is AMAZING. Sometimes I come several days in a row. “The duck was beautifully presented crispy on the outside and tender inside, easily one of the best I've had in South Florida. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere. My only disappointment was that all the dishes, including the duck, came out just warm instead of hot. I prefer my food hot, so that took away a bit from the overall experience. The skirt steak in the noodle was excellent, the noodles were decent but could use a bit more flavor, and the chicken broth felt slightly plain. I'd definitely give it another try as in general I really enjoyed my dinner, hopefully next time everything arrives hot!“

“I have been going to this place for a long time. I usually just pick up because I don’t live very far away. However, I have recently had an issue where I have trouble walking and so on that basis, I have ordered to go where they deliver it to your house, Admittedly, I went out front to greet the person before they arrived the first time with no problem. But I do have trouble walking and I live behind a home in a small apartment and so I decided not to walk out recently. I didn’t get my food. I waited for a long time and then I called to see what had happened. They told me they had delivered the food and that two children had picked up the order. Well, the place I live behind has children and so I walk to the front and I asked the people there if there had been any to go food. I was told no , but my neighbor said she distinctly saw the kids pick up the food and take it. I called China Spring 2 and told them about the issue and they said that they would replace the food and bring it by. I can’t thank them enough. They really stood behind me. My neighbor said she saw the children pick the food up and take it in where it obviously did not belong.When the delivery guy came to bring the second food back, he said, that most definitely the child had taken the food and taken it into their home. So I had two witnesses that knew that this food had been stolen and even so China Spring 2 came through for me. I could not be more thankful“

“My family and I have been going here for 8 years. We currently drive from West Boca to pick up our food as no other place can compare. We tried to find places closer but have alwaya been disappointed. It's well worth the drive. However tonight we noticed they changed how the boneless spare ribs were made. Not sure why they made this change but hope they go back to the old way. Still good, it's just not the same as has been my favorite for the past 8 years!“

I used to not like Chinese food, but I gave crazy wok a try cause of my roommate’s recommendation, and omg I am addicted. The chicken teriyaki stir fry is my all time favorite, but everything I’ve had so far is wonderful!! I also didn’t like eggrolls till I had them from crazy wok! They are so yummy. The staff is wonderful and super friendly too!“

I sold my home back in June 2022 and Purchased a new Home in Coral Springs FL and ever since we moved from Hollywood FL I have tried 7 different Chinese Restaurants from 5 Adjacent cities and They were NEGATIVE 10 HORRIBLE CHINESE FOOD!! And I said I would have to drive to Hollywood FL to get my Chinese Food until I said I would give one more try and I tried MONGOLIA WOK in Coconut Creek FL. And all I have To say is DELISH!!! OMG finally took just about 2 years and 8 CHINESE RESTAURANTS And finally found my Delicious Chinese Food Yeah. Bravo !!!! Congratulations. DELISH BRAVO EXCELLENT Food!!!!“

“Dragon Tea House is a serene restaurant located in the East Commercial Plaza that offers a variety of Szechuan & Cantonese dishes at reasonable prices. After greeting the female employee behind the counter, I placed an order for steamed dumplings, a pint of special lo mein, and a pint of wonton soup. I also asked for a small pack of fried wonton noodles ($.50 a pack) for some added crunch for the soup.

Here's my take on the food once I got home....

* Six steamed, textured dumplings with lightly seasoned pork filling. Complemented with a palatable dipping sauce.
* The wonton soup contained four delicious meat-filled wontons with scallions and pieces of roast pork in a tasteful broth. The wonton noodles added some crunchiness.
* The special lo mein was absolutely flavorful and delicious. It was a mixture of soft noodles, tender pieces of chicken & roast pork, jumbo shrimp, snow peas, and bok choy.

The food was enjoyable and tasted fresh without being oily or salty. I would definitely like to come back and try some of their other dishes soon.“
