My personal favorite is the SoFlo Swamp or Cookie Chaos The cookie dough ice cream cake was a huge hit for my two-year-old’s birthday and my brother-in-law’s said it was way better than any cold stone cake they’ve ever had before. “We were staying in the area and visited on two different occasions, both very pleasant with the coffee tasting great! The employees were easy to approach and had nice recommendations in the blends while I left with 2 bags of beans and 2 hats in their fully stocked retail section! I only wish their inventory of ingredients were replenished more frequently, as we had modifications made to both visit’s breakfast orders due to the unavailability of items.“

“Stopped by Sol Cafe recently and it’s such a hidden gem! This locally owned spot just opened not long ago, and the owners are super sweet and welcoming — you can tell they really care about the place and their customers.

We ordered the Coca Amor crepes (strawberry, banana, chocolate, pistachio cream) and the Crepe Tatin (dulce de leche, caramelized apples, and crème anglaise), and both were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and made to order — even the crepe batter is prepared fresh for each order, which makes the wait totally worth it. The crepes were perfectly thin, soft, and really flavorful, and the caramelized apples with dulce de leche were especially good.

For drinks, we tried the honey matcha, which was smooth and not overly sweet, and the refresher smoothie, a fusion of berries that was fresh and really refreshing.

I greeted a pleasant employee who took my order for a 16oz. strawberry banana smoothie and applied the $5 discount. The smoothies was nicely blended and tasty. It was was thick with an even balance of strawberry and banana flavor. This was the perfect way to quench my thirst on a hot, sunny day.“

Parking over the noon hour can be a challenge, so hopefully neighboring businesses are good neighbors (despite the signage). Prices are reasonable for the quality. “Food was very good. The staff is poorly managed and not well trained in hospitality. They appear to be understaffed. Wait times are very long for service and from the first greeting by the Maître d', there is not a feeling of hospitality convened to guests. The appears that the back of the house is managed well but the front of the house is disorganized and has received poor or little training in dealing with guests. We tried two times and will likely go somewhere else next time since there are many choices in the area..“
