“I stopped by this local diner for a quick breakfast before heading out on a trip, and it turned out to be the perfect way to start the day. The place had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and that classic diner feel that makes you want to stay a little longer. Even though I was just passing through, I felt right at home from the moment I walked in.

I ordered the eggs Benedict, a stack of pancakes, and a cup of coffee. The eggs Benedict was excellent, with perfectly poached eggs, a toasted English muffin, and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce that tied everything together. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and just sweet enough to complement the savory flavors of the Benedict without feeling too heavy. A hot cup of coffee rounded out the meal perfectly, making everything pair together surprisingly well and giving me the boost I needed before getting back on the road.

The staff was warm, attentive, and had my food out quickly without sacrificing quality, which I really appreciated since I was traveling. “Veteran owned and operated Mexican food done right. It’s a very clean, cozy, nicely organized space. As soon as you taste the food here, it’s obvious that this is a labor of love. Burritos and tacos are outstanding. Salsa is spicy and fresh. Two things to note: park around the side if you can; you can park in front but it’s a tiny little parking lot. Next is that you can “dine in” but they will bring you the takeout cartons and you can sit at one of the 2 tables they have inside and outside. We ate in and it was lovely and cozy and perfect!“

The room was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere for the celebration. While I was there to work, the staff went out of their way to make me feel like a VIP guest. The star of the evening was Chef Luigi, who demonstrated his culinary prowess throughout my time at the restaurant. Though I did not know he was the chef at first, he made sure I was well taken care of, offering me a bottle of Pellegrino and various food tastings. When I finally told him to just bring me whatever he recommended, he delivered an off-menu dish of tender, flavorful lamb chops in a delectable sauce, accompanied by fresh, grilled vegetables. The food was truly exceptional - it melted in my mouth and left me craving more. I was amazed that this restaurant, which I had never heard of before, could produce such a high-caliber meal. From the beginning, organizing it, Steve, the manager was outstanding so cooperative so easy to work with and the day of the party everything was set. The service was A+ the two individuals and I’m sorry I can’t remember their names they care and the way that they organized everything with 26 people was amazing. I thank you again Bert and Max’s. “Amazing Penne Alla Vodka sauce, and their garlic knots are flat out incredible. 🤩🤩🤩🤩. I've had a lot of stuff on their menu and they set a high bar on cuisine. A curious patron cannot go wrong ordering any of their dinners. The Francese sauce is bright and elegant, the Chicken Parm is juicy on the inside with a perfect crunch and I literally have dreams about their Vodka sauce as well as Marsala. When it comes to wings, the garlic Parm are off the charts. I had a wonderful dine in experience. They were crowded yet managed to be attentive and polite. If you are ever in South Florida, Margate is a little out of the way, but going to Maninno's is a MUST. Especially if you like Italian food.“
