After reviewing what was somewhat close by and reviews, I chose Izumi. So happy I did. The food was wonderful as well as the staff, drinks, and entertainment. “My friend and I went on Saturday night. We both had a drink and ordered appetizer while looking at the menu. Our waiter was right there with our hot appetizer within minutes. We both ordered shrimp and scallops coleslaw hush puppies along with our fried calamari appetizer. Our food was one of the best we've had in and around Bradenton/Sarasota. The atmosphere was perfect and service was the best. I cant wait to go back.“

You’d be surprised with how large the menu is and how much they have to offer.
Even on weekends and with larger crowds service is fast, the food is fresh and they have a great selection of drinks and beverages.

“I’ve been here so many times I’ve honestly lost count. This is quite literally the best quick serve Chinese restaurant in the area. Their General TSO chicken is amazing and so is their sushi. What really sets this place apart from the rest is the freshness and quality of the chicken they use. The chicken pieces are huge and you can tell it’s totally fresh and not frozen. If you frequently do take out Chinese food and haven’t tried this place then you’re in for a treat. Just about every other take out Chinese restaurant seems to use the same type of chicken - excess breading, small pieces, rock hard crunchiness, etc. The Rice Bowl is truly a breath of fresh air - it’s always fantastic well cooked and you always get a full piece of chicken. Just the right amount of breading and you never feel like you’re biting into a solid piece of breading. Keep up the good work and don’t change a thing! :-)“

“First visit late February 2026. Stopped in just after 1:00 p.m. on a Saturday and found plenty of tables available. There were at least four or five tables full of guests. Service was quick. I ordered Thai Basil with beef and it came with coconut soup and a fried egg roll.“

“I come here for years. But after today's experience. I doubt I will be back. Orderd to eat in , 8 28, received to go. If we were told that they start cleaning and putting stuff away, we might have left go somewhere else. The Steak was not in my combo and qhen added it was like pork. Michael had no interest to help nor if the order is correct. Mainly interested in not to have to do dishes. Tip was not a good investment. We enjoyed coming here, food was always good, staff was thankful and cortous. We brought family even guests from Europe. It was just a not so good experience today and the time before. We will give one more shot. But we live in Bradenton and driving there seems to not be worth it anymore“
