“I decided we would have dinner at Rick’s Steakhouse & Lounge for my husband’s birthday, and let me tell y’all… the funny part is we went through the WRONG door and walked straight into the Gentleman’s Lounge🥴😂😂

We asked the guy at the front door where Rick’s was, and he pointed us toward the other end. Since we could hear music, I asked him what was on the other side. He told us it was the Gentleman’s Lounge and actually gave us a little tour and showed us the way to Rick’s. Turns out, the Gentleman’s Lounge and Rick’s Steakhouse & Lounge are two separate spaces, literally separated by a door. So technically, we got a 2-for-1 experience 😂😂

Now, onto Rick’s! The restaurant is definitely a vibe. The dim lighting, music, TVs, and pool table make it the perfect spot for a date night or birthday dinner.

Okay, let’s talk about the FOOD! We both ordered the pork chops with peppercorn sauce and Parmesan mash. That pork chop was cooked to PERFECTION! It literally melted in your mouth, and paired with that peppercorn sauce… CHEF’S KISS! 😘🤌🏾

I let our waiter know from the beginning that it was my husband’s birthday, and after dinner, she brought out a fudge molten cake topped with ice cream and sparkles so I could sing Happy Birthday to him. 🥳🎂✨ That definitely made his night!

Came to Double Luck to celebrate my 40th birthday and it did not disappoint. Brandon gave us incredible service from start to finish. Attentive without hovering, great recommendations, and he made the night feel special. Thank you, Brandon!

We started with a few starters and every single one hit. The spicy noodles had the perfect kick with that garlic-chili depth I crave. The short rib was fall-apart tender, rich, and glazed beautifully. The duck was the star for me. Crispy skin, juicy meat, and the balance of savory and sweet was on point.

For dessert we did the rice pudding and the cake, and both were the perfect way to wrap up a celebration dinner. Comforting, not too sweet, and just indulgent enough.

Vibe was lively but still great for conversation. Portions were generous and the flavors were bold without being overwhelming.

Double Luck made turning 40 feel lucky indeed. We’ll be back.

“I’m not sure if he’s upper management, the owner, or simply just a phenomenal server who really cares for the business, but every time I come, the service is always welcoming, but there is one man in particular who always introduces the drinks to the person who orders them, telling the story, and ending his explanation with a nice “cheers”. He does this for each person. It’s very personable, and you can see that he cares about the drinks and the craft of such unique, worldly takes on cocktails. It’s a place I always recommend for a cozy, laidback vibe, but also one that still feels upscale. The only thing is that I wish they had different music than the food hall - the food hall’s music is pretty atrocious and doesn’t complement the otherwise sleek yet down to earth vibe of the bar. “I had an amazing experience at San Lorenzo! From the moment I arrived, everything was wonderful. The restaurant is very cozy, peaceful, and has a phenomenal atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.

The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely spectacular. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the lasagna was definitely my favorite—it was incredible and I absolutely loved it!

I also want to give a special mention to the valet parking attendant. He was extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better from the moment I arrived.
