“Chow Tyme offers a solid dining experience with plenty of options on the buffet. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is attentive and friendly, which definitely adds to the overall enjoyment. I sampled a variety of the chicken dishes, and while most were hearty and satisfying, they were a bit on the average side in terms of flavor. The orange chicken and peanut chicken stood out as above average, with a nice balance of sweet and savory. The wonton soup was definitely a highlight—flavorful and comforting. As for the desserts, they were, without a doubt, the best part of the meal! A great way to end the experience with a sweet note. We didn’t try many of the seafood items, except the fried shrimp, but most of it looked tasty. Overall, if you’re in the mood for a wide variety of buffet options and want a casual, filling meal, Chow Type is a good choice.“

“This is some of the best Chinese food I have tried in pensacola so far. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is the cream cheese wontons are not my favorite. I love cream cheese wontons but these are just not my favorite. But the sesame chicken dinner combo is some of the best ive ever had“

“When my husband and I moved from upstate New York to Pensacola last year the first thing I did was try to find a decent Chinese food place. Luckily I found Grape Garden! They were the third or fourth Chinese food place I had tried and by far have the best quality Chinese food that I've ever eaten. Their prices are roughly equivalent to other places but their quality is above average and The staff is super friendly whether you're there to pick up a to go order or you're dining in.“

“One of the best Chinese food in town! I Always order it for take out. The ingredients are so fresh and the price is great!
My favorite is the egg foo young which is tick veggie omelette with the choice of meat. It's perfect combination with roasted pork fried rice.
With lunch / dinner combo, the meal comes with veggies egg rolls.
My other favorite is beef mushroom. The portion is big and the meat is so juicy and tender.
The owner is really nice and friendly. Very helpful and the service is always fast. If you don't have much time, I recommend to call them in advance so the order is ready by the time you arrive at the restaurant.

“I got the General Chicken and two sets of spring rolls. It was all very delicious. I wish I had gotten fried rice instead of white rice, but it was still pretty good in my opinion. I would definitely come back.

“Wow, I didn't know the name of this place, but I know where to get the FRESHEST Chinese take out in town, and THIS place is it!!
I have never eaten a meal from here, that wasn't fresh and hot!
Even after bring my dinner home, which is about 10min away, my food is still steaming hot!
....and of course, I ALWAYS tell them how much I enjoy their food, and much I appreciate the fact that no matter what time of day I order, my meal is ALWAYS fresh and hot!
I can't say that for any other Chinese take out restaurant, here in town. When I've ordered from other places, sticky clumps of over done rice, and soupy,cslippery veggies are common place. Not here! My rice is always as it is supposed to be, and my veggies.... my favorite part, still have a crunch to them. They are not raw, they are cooked, but they are not slippery or without bite.
This place IS my go to place for Chinese! Give it a shot the next time you have a hankering for good, FRESH and hot food!“

“First time since I moved here that I tried this place. It never looked (outside) that it would be a decent place but as soon as you walk in, wow! Very nice, clean, lay out is nice, and the food was plenty. Usually buffets aren't that good but I have to say, this one was. You have lots, and I mean LOTS, to choose from. The wait staff kept the drinks coming and cleared the plates quickly. Not t very friendly but oh well, we still tipped them well. Give it a try, you'll be pleased.“
