“Chow Tyme offers a solid dining experience with plenty of options on the buffet. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is attentive and friendly, which definitely adds to the overall enjoyment. I sampled a variety of the chicken dishes, and while most were hearty and satisfying, they were a bit on the average side in terms of flavor. The orange chicken and peanut chicken stood out as above average, with a nice balance of sweet and savory. The wonton soup was definitely a highlight—flavorful and comforting. As for the desserts, they were, without a doubt, the best part of the meal! A great way to end the experience with a sweet note. We didn’t try many of the seafood items, except the fried shrimp, but most of it looked tasty. Overall, if you’re in the mood for a wide variety of buffet options and want a casual, filling meal, Chow Type is a good choice.“
“We got the takeout from the buffet tonight and everything we got was great and the staff was friendly. Honestly, happy there's a buffet on this side of town now. Definitely going to be coming back again after our vacation.“

“This food is so good my panties hit the floor sounding like a wet octopus on a boat deck. Don’t let the interior scare you away. This food is authentic and I was scared to try it but I’m glad I finally did.
Get the orange chicken it’s so good. It’s still crispy while being saucy and the chunks of chicken aren’t too big. $25 for 2 people (other person got general Tso’s)“

“My fried shrimp was fried too long and didn't have a seafood taste at all. The shrimp fried rice was very good. They have the best shrimp fried rich in Pensacola. Hubby had pepper steak, grandson had a honey dish, and both said their dish was good
Parking: You have to park in the lot and walk to the building so if you have a large order bring something with you to help you get it to the car
Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of room to navigate a wheelchair or scooter“

“The food was extremely tasty and delicious. It was an busy night due to Valentine's Day but the service did not falter. Our server was diligent and consistently moving. We will love to go back again when we're in Pensacola. Despite the high volume of business, all the staff was pleasant and focused on the patrons. There was an extraordinary amount of carry out orders, so that says a lot about how many customers enjoy their food. Highly recommend trying this gem!“

“This place is hands-down the best Chinese restaurant from Pensacola to Milton. Everything is consistently delicious, and the quality never slips.
The shrimp roll is always crispy and packed with flavor. The beef with mushrooms is tender and perfectly seasoned (very loaded with mushrooms), and the Mongolian beef has that amazing balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. The garlic sauce chicken is another favorite for my husband, full of bold flavor and cooked just right with lots of sauce on the side.
On top of the great food, the service is fast, the prices are fair, and the overall quality is always on point.“

“I have been going here for years and it is the best Chinese take-out in Pensacola!! The food is fresh, hot and minimal wait time, service is professional and polite. They were shut down for several moths in the pandemic and I tried other Chinese take-outs.... No Contest.“

“I was in a rush for time before going to my 2nd job it went about 5 or so minutes what I was hoping for. I will say this when I took a bite out of that Food Oh my goodness! This Hot & Spicy plate was the freshest food me and my lady ever tasted. This place knows consistency! Beats cooking at home for a hour.“

“First time since I moved here that I tried this place. It never looked (outside) that it would be a decent place but as soon as you walk in, wow! Very nice, clean, lay out is nice, and the food was plenty. Usually buffets aren't that good but I have to say, this one was. You have lots, and I mean LOTS, to choose from. The wait staff kept the drinks coming and cleared the plates quickly. Not t very friendly but oh well, we still tipped them well. Give it a try, you'll be pleased.“
