“We stopped thru on our way to Daytona and had lunch. The restaurant was clean and charming and the staff were friendly and hospitable. The food was excellent. So glad to have found this gem! If you pass through Astor, we recommend you stop in for breakfast or lunch (note: they close at 2pm).“

“We went for lunch. I had the bacon, ranch flatbread with chicken. It was delicious and had a lot of chicken. My husband had the Grouper sandwich and it was a very generous portion. Our waitress was a sweetheart and vey attentive. My only complaint is we had to move from our river front table to a back room because the air conditioning was so cold. The outside temperature was 80 degrees and inside was about 65, so it was very uncomfortable.“

“The food and service are not an issue both are outstanding. This is a theme restaurant a theme I like I am old South? nostalgia means a lot to me I am certainly willing to pay anyone who can take me back to my childhood this place does just that. I have gotten to old to deal with crowds we go places like this in the off season. I would receive a bit of modernization reservations required and observed. The 18 percent gratuity has not been an issue because we have not had a bad experience if there is a manager on site to speak with should there be a problem there behavior would decide if we returned. Been going for year's I do believe the new management is a vast improvement.“
