“We are from out of town and my colleague and I where looking for a BBQ place to eat and we came across M&E BBQ. We ordered our food and went to pay for our food to realize it was cash only. So we went to leave and find another place to dine when the (I assumed was the owner) said don't leave! As least let me feed you and when you come back around come back and eat here! So she served us free of charge! Wow super awesome and food was great! I will be back“
“We love eating local on vacation and really enjoyed lunch at this sweet little restaurant close to Alexander Springs. It was a very easy drive from the springs, in a great location. We got here right at church rush on a Sunday. It was very busy, but staff still took time out of their day to welcome us and apologize for the wait. They were very friendly! We did not wait long despite how busy it was. My family of 5 thought the food here was excellent and affordable and we were so pleased with our service. Everything was wonderful! Will definitely come back to this restaurant on our next trip to the springs.“

“Alma was a great waitress! We had a party of 8 and she handled everything effortlessly! Everyone's meal was great except for one, which she returned & explained the issue to the chef. Since it couldn't be corrected, she recommended another dish for her. Within minutes the new meal was delivered and it was very satisfactory to our friend. We all will be back again!“
“I like City Limits their food is excellent. Entertainment excellent but the only problem I had was today when I placed a to go order 1 glad I am not a health inspector because by 1 person I saw that didn't wash her hands after she ate both times once by the register then outside the window to get the orders. She never asked me about my order others did. Then she touched her hair and her mouth again never washed her hands. I work in the food industry myself and I know after each meal you eat, touch my hair, and specially my mouth you wash your hands each time, then after my order was ready sat it next to the register walked past then asked me if I was waiting on something. 2. I had 3 to go drinks and was told no lids they didn't have any and no one gets a drink to go and I didn't order alcohol to go it was tea and lemonade. I have never been to any restaurant where they don't put lids on drinks for a to go order. Like I said everything else today was excellent except the service. 3. And when I called to place my order the young lady taking my order wasn't customer excellent on the phone. I like City Limits everything is excellent but the service I got today I was not pleased at all.“
“What a fun little hole in the wall with some amazing food. Best chicken fried steak I've ever had, hands down. Stop in when you get a chance! So cozy and the owners are so friendly. And reasonably priced. I would visit every day if I could!“
