“We enjoy Bahama breeze and their outdoor patio. However, they have music on the weekends like a band, which we really do not enjoy. It's way too loud on the patio and you can't even hear the person next to you. Not recommended for weekends on the patio. Otherwise, it's nice to go during the week.“

But today, Father's Day, I was treated there by my daughter and what a pleasant surprise. A total 180 degree change. Service (Adam) our server, fantastic. Food was excellent. From apatizer to main course, and left with a to go bag. Yes crowded, but pleasantly crowded. You could carry on a conversation. Atmosphere, tropical with some island music. It was good. Hope it stays like this. I'll be back.“

“I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. We were shocked to see the size of the chicken that was brought to our table as it was extremely small. Not only was the chicken tough to break apart to put on our plates, but it was also hollow in the middle, lacking meat. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for charging $50 for what they call a whole rotisserie chicken when it didn’t appear to even be half of a rotisserie chicken. Also, we never received bread and butter at all, during our dining experience, which I believe was included with our meals. To say we are disappointed is an understatement however, we will never be dining at this restaurant again.“

“The food at this restaurant is on point! We wanted the feeling of a Caribbean Home cooked meal for Thanksgiving and they nailed it! The Salmon was light and fluffy, the stew chicken and jerk turkey were succulent, and of course the rice and peas, macaroni and potato stuffing all tasted like they came straight out of grandma’s kitchen!!!! “Alvin’s is definitely my #1 spot in Orlando for Caribbean food. We’ve been going here for a very long time and now that I’ve moved out about an hour away from Orlando, anytime we are in Orlando, it’s a must to stop by and get food from here. My favorite is the Chinese fried rice with the pork and chicken and don’t get me started on the garlic sauce. That sauce makes everything 10x better!! I wish I could move back closer to Orlando just to have this!! Best food hands down!“

It was enough of the dressing where it is not too much. I wanted more. (I am not a fan macaroni salad ????, but macaroni salad was just right.)The conch Lanbi is not dry where it is over cooked or hard. It taste perfect and tender. My parents are picky eater.
