“This was by far my best dining experience as a vegan at a non vegan restaurant. Strong Water Tavern has a regular menu and a vegan menu, however, I did not see anything on the vegan menu that I like and the options I liked from the regular menu had chicken stock in them. Elizabeth (the waitress) went back and forth from me to the kitchen, trying to work something out.
Eric (the manager) came out, apologized, and asked how he could accommodate me. We came up with a solution, which I thought would be from their kitchen, but I found out that he went to another restaurant in the resort to put together something for me. This was so heartwarming and showed excellent customer service.
I would like to say thank you again to Eric and Elizabeth for their attention to detail and ability to pivot to make sure that their customer was satisfied. 20/10 experience!“

“It’s such a shame that this restaurant is closing soon. We’ve been coming here for years, and it has always been on point!
The food is consistently delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere and location are fantastic. It’s unfortunate that, for whatever reason, things didn’t work out on the corporate side because this restaurant truly has everything you could ask for and more.
We’re definitely going to miss this place!“

“Food was good and servers were polite. Went there on a rain delay from baseball game so we were a party of 10. It would not be a place to go if in a hurry but the Mahi tacos looked amazing, all the dishes looked great but those tacos had me jealous wishing I ordered that!“

“The experience of a lifetime. Our waiter was very friendly and polite. He served with grace and came back to ask often if we needed anything. The food excellent. The atmosphere with colorful setting was amazing. The only complaint would be they are converting into Olive Garden!“

“We went there this week off the recommendation of JL Jupiter, Food Blogger. I was struck by the fact that he seemed to be enjoying his food a LOT. So we went to try it, and it was fabulous. Please ask for a cupful of the diabolically delicious chicken gravy, and spoon a little on top of your diri djon djon. The griot went suspiciously fast between the two of us. My spouse loved the piklis so much, she kept some for her dinner the next evening. Fantastic food, 10/10. And the woman behind the counter couldn't have been sweeter. Benita's was the BEST food we tasted on our trip to Orlando, and I'm so glad we went.“

“This place has the best Haitian food in Orlando right now! This comes very close to my MIL cooking which is too notch. Everything was soo good. I had the fries turkey with djon djon rice and pikliz! Wow! And the drinks were good too! My husband usually does not eat Haitian food besides his mom but I have him a taste and he said he's pulling up tomorrow lol. Very good place!“

“I recommend this hotel but not Amatista’s Cookhouse. My family was very disappointed. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken that cost $50. We expected the chicken to feed three people. We were shocked to see the size of the chicken that was brought to our table as it was extremely small. Not only was the chicken tough to break apart to put on our plates, but it was also hollow in the middle, lacking meat. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for charging $50 for what they call a whole rotisserie chicken when it didn’t appear to even be half of a rotisserie chicken. Also, we never received bread and butter at all, during our dining experience, which I believe was included with our meals. To say we are disappointed is an understatement however, we will never be dining at this restaurant again.“

“Im in town for a work conference and stopped by Jamaican Express and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned just right. I had the curry goat and jerk pork with rice and peas and cabbage, and every bite was delicious. The portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade.
The owner Q was very friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick too! You can tell they take pride in their food. If you're looking for authentic Jamaican flavors and a great meal, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back the next time in town!“

“The food at this restaurant is on point! We wanted the feeling of a Caribbean Home cooked meal for Thanksgiving and they nailed it! The Salmon was light and fluffy, the stew chicken and jerk turkey were succulent, and of course the rice and peas, macaroni and potato stuffing all tasted like they came straight out of grandma’s kitchen!!!! The catering service provided by Ojah and the team was greatly appreciated. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE. You will not regretted it. Trust me!!The food was amazing. I ordered Conch Lanbi with rice and beans/ salad and Chicken Wings with french fries and macaroni salad. It's alot of food. ???? It fed me, my son and my parents. Everything taste FRESH. I mean Fresh. The salad was firm. Macaroni salad taste perfect. It was enough of the dressing where it is not too much. I wanted more. (I am not a fan macaroni salad ????, but macaroni salad was just right.)The conch Lanbi is not dry where it is over cooked or hard. It taste perfect and tender. My parents are picky eater. They enjoyed it as much as I did. They were very satisfied. Thanks again. We will be back for more!“

“Came out last night me and my husband all the way from Saint Cloud Kissimmee, which is about almost an hour commute to the restaurant! and I must say we were not disappointed. “The restaurant is located in Universal City Walk. This restaurant was a vibe. They had live music playing, the service was good and the food was delicious. Our food came out piping hot even though we had a party of 8. The server never left us hanging and we never wanted for anything. The staff was friendly and interacted with our table. “I've been visiting Freddy's kitchen for 6 months once or twice a week. The food there is excellence. The Brown stew, chicken oxtails, curry chicken, the made to order, even the patties. This is one of my favorite spots, small Jamaican. Good food restaurants. I've tried many others in Orlando. This is one of the best ones I found. The service is top-notch place is always cleaned. I recommend this Jamaican restaurant to anyone originally from New York. So I know jamaican food from queens, just like home.“

“My favorite Jamaican restaurant in Orlando. Place is absolutely beautiful, clean, staff very kind & the food is authentic and amazing! Love their jerk chicken! The new location is top notch! No detail speared. Always enjoy my meals and leave happy!!!“
