“Was staying in the hotel upstairs and while the hotel was not great, I was pleasantly surprised by the Biscayne Tavern. On night one I stopped in for drinks and was served by Maylin, who was an absolute delight and gave top tier friendly service. I decided to go back for dinner the next night and was served by Tomas. Another amazing night of service, plus the good is very, very good! I had one of the best Cuban sandwiches of my life (I used to live in Miami, I've had many) and I highly recommend the nachos, which are Cuban/Miami style and have plantain chips in place of tortillas. Give Biscayne Tavern a shot, it's low key in the best way and please give Maylin and Tomas all your love, they deserve it!“

“I’m not really sure where to begin. Our dinner for 25 guests was phenomenal. Our event manager was wonderful. Rick and Gustav provided the absolute best service and everyone raved about their meals. The Henry was able to accommodate a few of our additional guests. We also accommodated 2 vegan guests, 1 vegetarian guest, and 1 gluten free guest. Perfect selection of appetizers. Favorites included the pot stickers, the steak, harvest bowl, and dessert!“

The host still made us wait 20 mins to clean the only dirty table because the clean tables were just not to her liking. “We stopped in last Monday to kill time before we had to be on our cruise. I had the southwest salad amazingly delicious. My husband had the cheeseburger paradise, he said it was a great burger. Our bartenders Lisa and Dezearae were amazing. Always checking on us. They are very polite. Those two work well together. Definitely recommend and if you can get these two bartenders I can guarantee your experience will be amazing.“

Their tuna tartare appetizer w house potato chips is out of this world, as are the soufflés - ask for a side of chocolate sauce, for some reason they no longer include it unless you ask. The salmon, branzino and chicken entrees are tasty. They had a great pork entree that they took out of the menu, hope they bring it back. When Chef Jan is present, food is consistently some of the best in Miami.“

Been to a lot of Restos around the world this man should teach everyone how to manage cause his greeting was far and beyond his call of duty and I thank you. “Man, what a find! I was driving around after a brutal early morning of Amazon deliveries (you know how it is!), and I was seriously craving some good grits. I actually Googled "grits near me," which is how I stumbled upon this place. I'd seen a review that mentioned "classic diner vibes," and that totally sold me. Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it's a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of "good mornings" from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere. My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It's awesome when servers are that considerate. The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, "Now that's how you do it – the classic Southern way!" That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip. Seriously, the whole experience was just what I needed – good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. It just felt… good. I did notice the prices were a little higher than what I saw in some older menu pics online, but honestly, with everything going on these days, it's not surprising.
