From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was incredible. But what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional service we received from our waitress, Mary. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, taking the time to explain the menu and made recommendations based on our preferences. Her enthusiasm and passion for the restaurant's offerings were contagious, and she made us feel like valued guests. And then, of course, there was the food - oh, the food! Honestly the best pancakes I have ever eaten.Keik, you've earned a loyal customer in us! And Mary, thank you for your outstanding service - we can't wait to come back and see you again!“

“Super busy! Walk ins onlyOne of my favorite brunch spots downtown! We came in around 12:30 on a Saturday and had to wait 30 minutes for a two top. There was a DJ playing, and the restaurant was packed. Our server was very friendly and the service from everyone who touched our table was fantastic.Pumpkin Spice Latte: 8/10 not super pumpkin-y but very tastyBae's favorite French toast: 10/10 French toast, two eggs, and bacon; perfectly balanced sweet and savory spread. Eggs were super fresh and the scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked. French toast was thick and fluffy and the fruit was also super freshSmoked Salmon omelette: 7/10 boyfriend got this one, said it was yummy but wished he got something else instead. The jam was ok Potatoes served with it were fantastic, very well seasoned, slightly spicy, and perfectly cooked; crispy on the outside and warm and tender on the inside“

“Went for a late dinner. Ordered several plates to share (chicken shawarma, pickled veggies, greek salad, tzatziki) and everything was excellent. Cocktail list had some very good options. Tzatziki with the pita bread was a star of what we ordered. Super fresh and flavorful.“

“Best breakfast sandwiches of my life. It's so hard finding quality food and ingredients in Miami and Novela nailed it with their Egg Sammie and Herb Omelette Ciabatta. Get the ciabatta with bacon and a side of the homemade sirracha mayo is unreal. I'm a saucy girl and they know how to do sauce. Also great place to co work from and such great vibes. AND rose syrup for your coffee :,) I'm obsessed.“
“The place is super nice, consistently attended by its waiters, with excellent service. To start, we had some delicious empanadas. We had sorrentinos and spaghetti for the main course, and they were delicious! And for dessert, dulce de leche pancake with ice cream. Very lovely atmosphere! Highly recommended!“

The place is beautiful, clean, and remarkable. It is Located in the center of the South—Miami area. I welcome you to come here and enjoy a lovely brunch or lunch. Nice place. It gets hectic so service can be a bit slow. But it is worth it. You will enjoy it. The best thing is the feeling that you are definitely coming back.“

“They say size matters... Family and I stopped here for midday Sunday breakfast. Place was packed but luckily we were able to find a table quickly. Parking was on the street and not the greatest but again we got lucky and found a spot rather quickly. You have to pay by phone. Inside the place had a good roar as they had a fully seated restaurant. They have a large spacious dining room and good size service counter as well. As you walk in you can't help but notice their spread of large croissants and other baked goods. We decided to order the French Toast, Croque Madame and the Kids Egg Breakfast along with an Almond Croissant and of course a Guava and Cheese Croissant. Everything was really tasty and came out pretty quick. French Toast was probably my favorite but I have a sweet tooth. The Croque Madame was perfectly cooked. The egg just oozed out upon touching it. I felt it was also a nice sized portion. I had to take some home. The croissants were also really good. They had ample amounts of filling and thats saying a lot given their size. I can see how you could just go in and have a coffee and croissant for breakfast and would be satisfied. In fact I might be doing that more often here. The guava though I would have preferred it to be more of a marmalade like consistency instead of guava jelly like but still it was very good. I have to also give a special shout out to their Orange Juice. Wow it was so fresh. My only complaint was that I wish I could have endless refills although it was nice that our orders included coffee and orange juice. As we were heading out they had a line out the door of folks waiting to be seated. So you might have to wait but the place is worth it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even have the cutest little to go boxes. Overall great place for breakfast and I would definitely be coming back. Recommend if in the area.“

“So good! I'm still dreaming about their crème fraiche pancakes. They were to die for and I'm make the commute to Miami just for them. The bowl that I got was delicious as well. Coffee was great, small portion but the lavender flavor was delicious without making the drink taste soapy. The only thing that disappointed me was that they were out of their more popular baked goods when I got there for lunch at a relatively early time. I hope to be able to try them at some point in the future. Place is beautiful with instagramable spots and the service was fine!“

On Wednesday, they have buy one, get one free sandwiches. They were huge and delicious. Try it out on a Monday! You will be so happy you did! From now on, it’s my Monday and Wednesday retreat!“

“An amazing little cafe in the middle of a concrete jungle, what a find. It's simply a counter, you order and wait, then you can head out to the reflecting pool to eat. All the food is fresh and made daily, it's breakfast and lunch, very good and reasonably priced ! We had the ham and cheese croissant, the Sunday sandwich and 2 Americanos for $20 plus tip. It was hot, fresh and very tasty. The coffee was amazing and the 2 women who ran the spot were delightful. It's just basically a food stand, no real ambiance, but it is clean and efficient. We can't wait to go back and try lunch, homemade soups and sandwiches........“

“It is a place to have breakfast or brunch, its menu ranges from croquettes, sandwiches, salads, main dishes, etc., all the girls and the boy who served us were super friendly and attentive and they were also the same with the other people from the other tables, the only thing I didn't like very much was the parking and that they also don't have good access and space for wheelchairs ? it is a cafe in the best Cuban style!“

“The food is a little pricey for what it is, but not where it is. The portions are adequate, and the setting is very comfortable. The employees were friendly and welcoming. “My husband and I had lunch here twice while visiting Miami. We thought the food, ambiance and service were excellent. Our first visit we split a Perez Chopped salad with chicken. I had a Coke and a nonalcoholic Honey Mule Gingerbeer. We sat on the lovely outdoor patio overlooking the water. We were first time visitors to Miami, so we especially enjoyed looking at the Miami skyline. Then we toured the Perez Art Museum. We liked this restaurant so much we decided to dine here again when we visited the Frost Museum of Science, which is next door. This time we ate inside since it was raining. We split the delicious Perez Chopped Salad and some toast. This wonderful restaurant was recommended to us by a longtime Florida resident. We would be happy to dine at this restaurant even if not visiting the museums.“

“What a great spot! Books & Books always has something going on: comedy night, spoken poetry events, and a plethora of other events. The cafe's food never disappoints either, and their happy hour deals are amazing! $5 wine and select apps, and plenty of seating both inside and outside at the patio/bar. Service is wonderful too; everyone is super attentive and kind. This is probably my favorite Books & Books location--the ambiance is unbeatable!“

“Très beau lieu, bien situé. La décoration est cependant minimale (mur blanc) et rien ne laisse penser que l'on soit dans un restaurant Français, une fois de plus personne ne parle Français même quand je prononce "Quiche Lorraine ", la serveuse me reprend pour le prononcé avec un accent espagnol, dommage.“

“One of my favourite spots to have brunch in the grove. The second floor overlooks the street with floor to ceiling windows so you can people or car watch. “I really liked the concept and the atmosphere, the menu was very good and the coffee was acceptable. I won't give it 5 stars because the truth is that I travel the world visiting coffee places and in that aspect life has led me to make my opinion a little more cruel, but for people looking for a coffee in that area to sit and share a good conversation, I recommend it. “This is our office go-to! The salads are large and made to order, and everything is extremely fresh. I recommend knowing what you would like to get before you reach the counter, because the line (despite usually long at lunchtime) moves fast. Tip: The salad combo includes a drink and chips, and it's just a few dollars more. Nice value!“
“I went to Ice Box Cafe for their Taste of Today pre-fix menu. For only $34, you get an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert! Everything was SPECTACULAR! Our waiter Nate was incredibly attentive to us and made sure to bring plates to share because we wanted to try a little bit of everything. I definitely recommend the Chilled Carrot & Ginger Soup and the Filet of Beef au Polvre. The other servers Josue and Sergio made incredible cocktails & just the overall attention was amazing. I cannot emphasize enough. This is the second time I come to eat here and they always make you feel like family. I love coming here when I'm in Miami Beach because the food is 10/10, the restaurant is so cute, and I love interacting with the staff!“

“???? means "???" in French (no, they did not misspell Miami ?) and thats exactly what you say when you try a bite of the fluffy soufflé pancakes at MIAM Cafe (@miam.cafe) ?. I was immediately enamored by these and haven't stop thinking of them since! The burger was also pretty tasty. The service could use some work, and a couple of times I have come during their opening hours, and they were either entirely closed or the kitchen itself was closed. A big bummer considering the location is a bit annoying to get to.?MCD hack: park at the College Station Garage a few blocks away and take a ??????? (@ridefreebee) to the restaurant. “This was my first time visiting this establishment. I wanted a large piece of Churrasco, which I was able to purchase from the butcher. It looks really good & I’m excited to cook it later tonight.I also ordered two Cuban sandwiches, which were rather tasty. I especially liked that they used fresh pulled pork in it.What was rather disappointing were the Mariquitas. They smelled of oil and were seemingly not fresh. The chips were not crisp & over soaked in oil as if they were not properly drained. Would not order them again. They went straight to the disposal.“

“Super cute and welcoming atmosphere! Feels like you are inside a page from a magazine. Little decorative details on the tables, the decor all around, it makes you want to sit and soak up the vibe. There's a book shelf with books, plants on the window sill, big windows with lots day light coming in. The service was fantastic! The owner is so friendly, nice and sweet, she was hard at work along with her staff to quickly and efficiently get the food out. We didn't wait long. The food was delicious! Lots of vegan options! I shared a zuccini soup with my 3 year old and we both loved it! It was surprisingly VERY tasty! I never thought zuccini was a good "soup" veggetable, but this definitely changed my mind.
