“The food was amazing! But more than anything our server went above and beyond. We sat at the bar and the bartender (a woman, I didn’t catch her name) took so much extra care for us. I quietly reminded my partner that I couldn’t have gluten and she took the initiative to ask the chef if extra accommodations could be made for a non “gluten friendly” app and I so appreciate that! “This was our first time eating here in Grapevine Texas location. My husband and I had a Caesar salad and a meat lovers pizza. The Caesar salad was huge and we took home half of it. The pizza is crispy and fresh out of the oven. It was a great meal. We had a friendly and knowledgeable, waitress named Kelsey. On the way out, we met the owner Luis. He was very friendly and took the time to talk about their restaurants and all the other locations they had. We will definitely be back.“

Needless to say, the service is unmatched here from the moment you walk in. Started with a white wine, these are the dishes I opted for...summer salad, scallop crudo, koshihikari rice, black grouper and parfait. Need I say, everything single dish was a 10/10. Summer salad was perfectly balanced between the plums, nectarines and avocado and a little spice from the agua diablo. An explosion of flavors in every bite. The scallop crudo was like nothing I've ever tasted...perfectly cooked scallop with a little kick. The grouper was the star of the show...just perfection. The rice was a pleasant surprise of flavors that took shocked my palate a little but in the best way. Ended the meal with a very delicious rich parfait that wasn't overly sweet. I see why they're Michelin starred and it didn't disappoint, NOT ONE BIT. Space is underwhelming though. Not really romantic or cozy or aesthetically pleasing and very small but the food was without a doubt...PHENOMENAL, and that's all that really matters at the end.“

“Had a great experience here with Mark the bartender. Ordered his suggestion which was one of the sushi rolls - they don't mess around when it comes to rolls. I got the nikkei roll which was absolutely phenomenal. I also ordered the boulevardier which is bulleit rye, amaro montenegro, aperol, and grapefruit - an amazing mix! A bit pricey but highly recommend! And shoutout to Mark - give that guy a raise!“

“The concept of this restaurant is fantastic, and it’s why I’ve come back twice. Also, it is very beautiful! It has all the potential to be a five-star experience.

The biggest missed opportunity is the chef interaction. Since they’re cooking directly in front of guests, a simple greeting or brief explanation of each dish would make the experience so much more engaging.

The service was also underwhelming. With gratuity already included, the staff didn’t seem very attentive or welcoming.

The food is filling, and most of the rolls are delicious, though some, like the crab mayo roll, were underwhelming.

A little more warmth and attention to hospitality would turn it into a restaurant people would be excited to return to.“

“I participated in their Grand Tasting Spring Edition, early May. This is my second time coming to the event and it was just as fun, and well organized. I think the food offered this year was also better. They had a great variety and a good amount which was lovely given the amount of wines on the tasting menu. Curated by the very knowledgeable owner and sommelier Alegra. I don’t personally know her but her staff’s adoration of her only ingratiated the event that much more. It sounded like she really took time and care into curating this impressive event. Overall there were 16 tables with anywhere from 4-10+ wines to try from all around the world. I think it’s so cute how they also have a scavenger hunt for participants to get to know the wines in a different format and loved that the first table of wines was a spin-the-bottle. Very creative. The special prices for the wines were also a great touch along with tags describing the wines as, “old school,” or “delicioso.” The selection of wines in the store was even more impressive than the ones being showcased for the event. All in all, this is a great establishment that also holds wonderful events.“

He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with our two children. Our one year old was having a hard time and he kindly offered a coloring page. When his cup of water spilled, Rodrigo came right over to clean it up and didn’t make us feel like a burden.
