“We always say "We don't feel like we are in Florida , until we go to Micelli's" We went there 4/1/25. An excellent, friendly hostess greeted us. Had a wonderful seat by the water. We loved the breeze, boats going by, superb clam chowder, pizza and music. Great service by our waitress. Glad to be back on Matlache. Parking is tricky. We got there early. We love and recommend it highly. A favorite Florida experience. We will be back.😎😎“

“So good!! We ate here twice while in BG. We loved their sausage & pepper app. We did takeout this time around, ravioli w/ meat sauce & fet alf. & Italian sausage. The pasta is so homemade & the Alf sauce was perfect, not too heavy , just right! I def recommended the food & will 100% be back next visit . Thank you for the delish food!!“
“This is another place that deserves more than a 1000 reviews.
I stopped here first to pick up lunch for the groom and friends, when someone mentioned about their popar lobster sandwiches. Although they are a bit expensive ($34), it was worth every bite.
Came back the next day for another lobster sandwich and crab cake, and it tastes gooooddd, is still the best sandwich I have ever had.“

“Eagle Grille & Miller's Dockside in Boca Grande, Florida offers an impressive dining experience. The food is not only delicious, but also generous in portions, ensuring complete satisfaction. The care we received was exceptional, highlighted by a very pleasant and professional lady who made the visit even more special. Additionally, the restaurant's location, right in front of a marina, adds a unique touch to the environment, providing beautiful views that complement the experience. A highly recommended place for those looking to enjoy good food in a charming environment.“

“A nice location that I visited while visiting the gulf coast. Food was decent, drinks were cold, and overall a pleasurable experience. Visited by boat and had plenty of dock space. Walked up to bar area where we ordered drinks and started tab and walked up to a table to sit for lunch. While we got out food, ended up walking up to bar for another drink. While this part falls on me, did not pay close attention to the bill and realized they tagged on a service fee, which was essentially the tip. I generously tipped on the total balance, not realizing tip was included. Once back at home, attempted to contact the location and never heard back. While it clearly falls on me, think it is crappy when locations tag on service fees for small groups. Mix in a few cocktails, and pretty sure I'm not the only person who fell for this. Don't mind paying island pricing, however the added service charge is annoying especially when you are pretty much expected to walk up to bar and order your drinks. guess the servers had a good tip day. would probably go back, but would be more attentive to the tip surcharge.“

“My husband and I just enjoyed dinner there this past Saturday and my goodness!!!.. we were not only blown away by the food, wine and dessert; but the service Kelci provided! The Mullett 3 ways appetizer was incredible. The coconut encrusted mahi with pina colada rice (and don’t even get me started on the crispy scallions!) was DEVINE. To finish off with the PERFECT key lime pie was just…well, perfect! We love Blue Dog, can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back and truly ask for Kelci; so on it, so sweet, no rushing, helpful etc. everything positive!“

“Parking was terrible, it's a small lot and no marked spaces so cars were spread out just enough so others couldn't fit. Found parking our 2nd time trying to go. The food was good and so was the service. The live music was very good.“

“Mainely Seafood Café I wanted a Lobster Roll, so we had to stop by and see what this place is all about. It’s at the right end of Turtle Crossings shopping plaza on Burnt Store Road. This place was neat and clean and very well organized. It is a Café and Market everything inside is simple but fits the décor of a Seafood establishment. We got there around 12 noon and surprisingly we were the only people in the place. Our server Brianna came over to our table took our drink orders fast. They do serve alcohol and soft drinks. For starters we ordered the Creamy Lobster Bisque Soup, a Beer, and some Wine. For the main dish I ordered the Lobster roll Meal with has a ¼ pound of Lobster served on a split top bun with Butter, Fries and Cole Slaw for about 24.00. You can get it cold with Mayo or hot with Butter. I got an alternate side of Onion Rings instead of Fries for 3.00 extra. My wife just ordered the same thing but with the Fries. Our soup came out first and it was very good. Our Lobster Rolls came out shortly afterwards. The looked amazing and they were. The roll was toasted and overflowing with Lobster the butter to pour or dip into was a nice addition. The Onion Ring were done perfect as was the Fries. Even the Cole Slaw was pretty good. Brianna was on the ball asking us if everything was all right and checking on us, but I do wish she was a little more cordial. This is one of them so called hidden little gems and I for one can’t wait to go back. Make sure you put this on your to do list. I must give this place a 5 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Follow Me For Fun & Reviews Gulf Coast Terry“

“Cool old school nautical bar, restaurant. My resident hosts said best on island. Away I went for Sunday brunch, lunch.
My hosts said try the fish. Catch of the day. Etc etc. I ordered triple tail platter. I'm from Boston so I have no idea what a triple tail is. I asked for grilled fillet. Small thin serving. Reminded me of TV ad...." where's the beef." Good yet could have eaten 2x.
Platter came with fries and small serving of coleslaw. Coleslaw was good, IMHO.
good local beer, attentive service, ( I sat at the bar). One dollar bills on the ceiling. ( I did not ask). Very good vibe. Why is fish so expensive on an island. I would return to investigate alt. Items on menu.“
