“Hats off to the chef!! I just had the best cream of mushroom soup ever!! I know that sounds like a weird soup to rave over but it’s so damn good! Big chunks of mushroom and there was an amazing depth of flavor in the base. Short ribs was my entree… it was melt in your mouth goodness!! It had whipped potatoes and brussels for side. Everything went well together!! Would have dined in if we weren’t under the weather, so we could tell the chef dinner was great :)“

“Beautiful spot with an amazing view and great vibes. Drinks were a 5/5, view was a 5/5, food was 4/5 and service was 3/5 for the waiter but 5/5 for hostess and other staff. Waiter seemed short staffed and ran away so quick felt bad asking for anything. Asked for over hard eggs and they were very runny and they were for the table behind. Beyond the overwhelmed waiter and bad cook of the eggs we will definitely return .“

“First time at coco wood and Ronda was our server. She gave us recommendations and let me say she hit the nail right on the head. Everything was so tasty and the quality was so fresh. Best I have had on these beaches in a long time. This will be our new spot to go to enjoy unique food and not just the same old stuff you can get anywhere.“

“Menu offers plenty of options, food was the best we've had while at IRB, and our server was fantastic (can't recall her name...she was new, started just over a week ago). Strongly encourage reservations, they are busy! Pear and goat cheese salad with salmon was amazing (pic included but doesn't do it justice!), other meals in our group included the filet mignon and the classic carbonara. Filet was melt in your mouth, even though it was ordered medium well 😵‍💫😆 So good we are going back a second night in a row!“

“By far the best subs in town! Not your typical ham and cheese sub shop. The subs they make are booming with flavor and variety. Cool Ranch Ryder, and their October special (Witch hunt?) are amazing! I wish they had a Tyrone location buttttt then again I’d probably be there multiple times a week if they were that close to me. The staff are always so friendly, fast and efficient, and accommodating. Kenwood location is our favorite one but I’m sure they’re all amazing.“

“Suzi’s is Satisfying Suzi’s is a popular breakfast/lunch restaurant. The place is clean, the servers are efficient and nice and the prices are fair. We were there for breakfast and I had the scrambled eggs with French toast and link sausage. I appreciate French toast that is properly cooked and isn’t soggy in the middle and this was just right. My wife had the Spanish omelet which was large and tasty. The coffee was good and hot. Nice place and we’ll return.“

“Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

“Blind Shark was the closest bar to our Airbnb and did not disappoint. Coming from Wisconsin, we don't have local watering holes you can smoke inside, so that was a huge plus to us! Drink selection was perfect for our simple tastes, and the locals/bartenders were great. Food was amazing also!Their karaoke night, I made sure to sign up. In the process, I made a friend (who is a local) and got her to sing with me for her first time in years! My fiance and I became friends with her and her husband, spending time with them outside of the bar during our stay.The hospitality is bar-none (no pun intended) and I'd be ecstatic to go back in the future. I’ve found the people who work there to be friendly and professional. The owner is a really smart and personable guy who has been in St. Petersburg for a long time. It’s always a pleasure to chat with him about the artists and interesting things going on in St. Petersburg.“
