“Hats off to the chef!! I just had the best cream of mushroom soup ever!! I know that sounds like a weird soup to rave over but it’s so damn good! Big chunks of mushroom and there was an amazing depth of flavor in the base. Short ribs was my entree… it was melt in your mouth goodness!! It had whipped potatoes and brussels for side. Everything went well together!! Would have dined in if we weren’t under the weather, so we could tell the chef dinner was great :)“

“My son, mom and I stopped in for an early dinner after my son's basketball game. This was our 1st time here and we absolutely loved the food. I highly recommend the "Cool ranch rider" has a nice kick to it the only thing I did differently was ranch instead of mayo and banana peppers instead of hot peppers. My son had the "Turkey bacon" minus onion and tomato as well as sub the mayo for ranch he absolutely loved it!! My mom got the "Roast Beast" loved hers as well!! We decided to try the Lemon Blueberry cheesecake, it too was delicious!! We will definitely be back!! The ladies that helped us with our order were super sweet and made us feel very welcomed!! Loved the vibe. Reggae music playing as well, just overall a great place!! We were at the 3rd Avenue location for reference!!“

“Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

“Blind Shark was the closest bar to our Airbnb and did not disappoint. Coming from Wisconsin, we don't have local watering holes you can smoke inside, so that was a huge plus to us! In the process, I made a friend (who is a local) and got her to sing with me for her first time in years! I love looking at their beautiful and unusual art pieces and have been to and enjoyed a few concerts there. It’s such a cozy and intimate and fun place. I’ve found the people who work there to be friendly and professional. The owner is a really smart and personable guy who has been in St. Petersburg for a long time.
