“I don’t know how, but every single time I eat here, the food is ALWAYS as good as I remember it to be. To me, this is so rare, that the memory always consistently stands up to the reality and matches. I now have an addiction to the ‘Haus breakfast sandwich. It’s always made fresh at ordering, the cheese oozing through the sides. It’s the perfect blend of sweet and savory, with perfectly cooked eggs and a slight kick due to the pepperjack cheese. I have also loved every pastry I try— unlike the American pastries I’m familiar with, C&C allows the flavors of the ingredients to come into play by not burying them under too much sugar. If you ever have the opportunity to try one of their chocolate cake doughnuts, you should absolutely do so”

“I live half way between Lakeland and Plant City. My girlfriend lives in Lakeland, so we tend to eat out there when we do eat out. I mentioned that we should look in Plant City because it's just as far away from me. She is Filipino an loves seafood. I found The Rolling Crab online and looked at the menu. We tried it and we really loved the food and the waitress was very friendly. The food was on par and at a reasonable price for what we got. She loved raw oysters and I got a boil. She wants to make this place a regular stop now. (Side note, it was a very clean place also, which I look for in a place)”

“To the lady on the line who overheard my husband place my order and worked absolute MAGIC, thank you. I wish I knew your name. Per my request, my husband asked for a crazy amount of mushrooms to be added to my steak and cheese sandwich. He told the gentleman taking the order that his wife was very pregnant (I am, at 37 weeks) and needed ALL of the mushrooms. Most of the time, it’s just a few scattered mushrooms anytime I’ve asked anywhere else, which is honestly what I expected. This wonderful lady who made my sandwich DELIVERED. She ever so thoufhtfully listened and generously obliged and I cannot thank her enough. Here’s why - this is my 4th and last baby and the hardest pregnancy I’ve had by far. I was diagnosed early on with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which is INSANE nausea (and the bodily functions that accompany it) throughout the duration of my pregnancy - not just the first trimester like most women. It’s been the longest, hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’ve been hospitalized, dehydrated, and barely making it through. With that, I’ve had NO pregnancy cravings. I was robbed of that joy this time around. I’ve only had aversions this whole time and then just foods I could tolerate, usually meal replacement shakes. For whatever reason today, I wanted this sandwich with those mushrooms and I was so hopeful it was done right. It was done PERFECTLY. And then she gave me extra pickle spears! And the pickles here are my favorite pickles of all the sub shops! Ma’am - I wish I knew your name. I hope you get to read this and know it’s you that made the end of this journey a bit more bearable for me. I’m actually looking forward to eating tonight instead of dreading it, so thank you. Truly.”

“We stopped by for lunch yesterday. It was our first visit but we’ve heard good things from friends. We were promptly greeted and seated without delay. We had one of the lunch specials (tacos, rice and beans) that came out quickly. Everything was very tasty including the chips and salsa delivered before the meal. “As of this point in time this waffle House is significantly better than the one in Seffner. Although they couldn't get the t-bone steak cooked medium rear it was not burnt.
Everything at the Seffner waffle House has come out burnt black. The hash browns the steak the bacon and even the eggs. The cook there is terrible his grill is far too hot and burns the food but does not listen. If you see a big huge guy at the grill turn around and go somewhere else!”

“Nice little diner/cafe. Service was good. The food is a little over priced for what you get. A lot of what we got seemed like it was from a box or premade. The Mac and cheese was overcooked and bland. What little taste was like generic boxed. The Country Fried Steak had a weird taste. Catfish was good, as well as the Fried Okra. With tip we paid over $36 for 2 people. That was one breakfast and one dinner.”

“It was my first time here so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. I ordered 2 tacos de al pastor ($2.99 each) and a quesadilla de asada($6.99); I spent a total of $15 (with tip). Honestly, when I first saw these prices I thought they seemed pretty high, but considering its a locally owned business and inflation is crazy right now, its understandable so I'm not mad about that(I'm also just broke). When I got the food, I was IN AWE by the sheer size of the quesadilla, it was thicc and loaded up with steak! It came with a side of fresh lettuce, tomato, cilantro, and some jalapenos that i asked for. The taco's were your standard mexican street tacos so they were good. The salsa would be my real only complaint, I wasnt a fan of the black salsa but the green salsa was good. The wait time wasn't terrible, like 15 minutes+, but considering there was only 2 people working it's understandable. Overall, really good food for an amazing price.”
