“Since I live in Ponce Inlet, I've been to Down the Hatch many times and have always found their seafood to be so fresh all the time. This time I had my sons visiting me from St. Louis, they wanted to eat at the best restaurant for seafood, and of course, we went right here and it didn't disappoint. They especially loved the shecrab soup with the sherry on the side. It was scrumptious. Their dinners were wonderful, as well as the desserts. Needless to say, we went home with plenty of leftovers. Steve, the server was great. All in all, it was a perfect night. So whether you live nearby or on vacation, make it a point to dine there.“

“2nd time here 1st for our friends. Living in West Palm I have excellent restaurants everywhere,SoNapa is included in my assessment. Started with a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, great. No apps but I had the soup du jour which was sausage and pepper! Never had it and I swear it could of been a sub! I shared my wife's salad which contained the right amount of dressing.
Entrees were the twin beef medallions w/ risotto. I opted for the double cut pork chop. Food was served hot, cooked as ordered and enough to take home leftovers. Coffee and dessert were fine. Throw in a bottle of Cabernet and the evening was perfect.

Amanda Jean & Allie take good care of me ? one thing is that I wish that the customers would take better care of the pool tables. Crooks Den has quality tables and the felt used to be superb but now there's drink stains and all sorts of debris on the pool tables and because people sit and lean on them, they are no longer level. I'd LOVE to shoot league out of the Crooks Den ? whatever tho.. the reasons I drive from the beachside to the Crooks Den is for Amanda Jean & Allie and the chill daytime vibes ?“

“Until tonight, yes. However, tonight was a disaster. We started with one (Tyler) waiter, saw him twice, took 30 minutes to get a drink. Which our original waiter did not deliver. He finally came and took our food order. He appeared to be too busy chatting with friends. We finally received or food which was good. We waited for our original waiter so we could order additional drinks. He was a no-show. We never again saw our original server. Good riddance. Cole came by and took our drink order and apologized. “What a gem! I'm new to the area, but my friend is a local who can often be found at Surf Lounge partaking in interactive gaming, pool tournaments, or simply enjoying a drink after a hard day's work. I've had only a few samples of the food there so I really can't speak on that just yet, however, the few "bites" were great. The staff is friendly, efficient service, and happy to answer my "not from NSB" questions. The patrons are also a friendly bunch. I think Surf Lounge will be a favorite watering hole ...and I recommend all you tourists vacationing in New Smyrna Beach to stop in to Surf Lounge, relax, have a drink, and a bite to eat ... The owner really plans out activities for her locals hang out some really fun things going on up there dirty bingo it's fun. Got a good music box music box. And some ice cold beer a kind of beer when you get off of work...ice cold you know!!! Love y'all. PS let's not forget the barmaid I call her Sissy .... She's Just like a little sis...
